The park has a play area that is great for kids of just about all ages. There are multiple levels, paths, play sets and areas for the kids to play. The paths are made from a rubbery material that makes it road rash free if a child would fall. There are great views of the lake, picnic tables, covered areas with tables and plenty of places to hike and explore. We actually ended up having our fall family photos done here and they turned out great. There are also portable bathrooms located near the kids park as well. They came in very handy as our kids played here for hours since there was so much to do.

This is a great place to take your dog they do have to be on leash but it feels very secluded its about 2.2 mi around the lake its covered in deep woods and has a few bridges. Its not as busy as some of the other parks or lakes you might go to in the area so definitely feels more like your own. Highly encourage people to visit it at least once.

Horrible place to walk in Summer. Would never go again. They could do a better job with mosquito control. They should fumigate this area or close it down. Whats up with maintenance of public areas and who says that mosquito control has to be political thing. Just do it. Do you want malaria or dengue fever to start in EP? What are you waiting for? Is anybody listening?

This is a beautiful place for an Off Leash area for your pooch. Trails that wind into the woods with enough clearing for one to walk through. Water jugs that owners will walk up the hill to fill so that dogs can have fresh water in the bowls near the picnic table. There are bins that store bags to clean up after your dog, a bin full of tennis balls, and one for apparent lost and found items. There are steps in the woods and hills for the dogs to run around and explore. Meet other pet owners.

What an amazing park! We just discovered this one today ~ and I love all the different levels, great equipment, and easy to use for multiple ages.We didnt get to use the food truck, but Im attaching the poster for it (with times listed), because how smart is that? Great idea for the families that are there for almost two hours like we were!Bonus points, for the shaded tables, the soft terrain (boy do I despise wood chips! ), and the easily accessed pathway which Im hoping to check out next time :)MOMS Club(R) of Shakopee and Prior Lake President,- Katharina

Love getting questioned at the dog park by the Eden prairie Police about a report that someones dog was running to close to other peoples dogs. Apparently the dog was having fun playing Chase but it scared an honor to the point of sending the police album question everybody about whose dog this might be...Classic EP police situation and yes they used intimidation and threats from the start...As the police began to leave I noticed 3 children crying because of confusion on why mom or dad were being bad...Good job guys, Great community work!

First time visiting the disc golf course, it was a little tricky to find...Google Maps brought me to the dog park. The course layout itself was also a little confusing, but one round is it al it took to figure it out. The course was in good shape, and was challenging even from the amateur tee pads. I went early in the morning on a weekday, and had the course to myself. I will definitely frequent this course.

Disc golf park - its a great old school park. Mostly under 300. Its great for side arm flicks or bring another mid-range, understable disc. Theres been a huge clearing of trees on one and two as of spring 2020. The rest plays like it has since early aughts eh. Caution the over-toss on five - tis only one fifty. Plant it.

Great large park with many things to do. Usually well-kept and not too busy, unless theres one of many events happening that day.Theres tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball and softball diamonds, pickleball courts, a dog park, a reservable picnic pavilion, an archery range, a disc golf course, an amphitheatre, a playground... Not to mention the paved trail around the lake, about 2 miles for a loop. And in the winter, theres a skating rink and sledding hill too. Possibly the best park around.
