SO COOL! Really encouraged my kids to look into the woods and explore more. I was a little bummed there wasnt more info on the sculptures but plan to go back without kiddos to enjoy them more. Also, taking the kiddos back because they loved the hiking trails. We really enjoyed the activities hidden withing the sculptures.

I never heard about this park before, I saw it on Google map on the way to Minnesota Zoo, thought I could stop back on the way back home. I missed the sign to Sculpture Park on the left side at first, but I was impressed with so many trails and it is peaceful and quiet. The art are unique, unusual and some are adult they need some upgrade with information, and who the artists were. Some parts of the park need the signs and directions too. Overall, I enjoyed my visit, I may come there again.

Nature walking is great but nature walking with art in it, is awesome. Beautiful fall day. No crowds. Easy parking. Clear maps and signs.

Fantastic place for a date. The labyrinth is fantastic, very meditative. 4/5 because I think the Guerrilla Girls might have some options about a few pieces.

You can walk forever in this park and keep seeing new art or at least new spaces. Even the mowed paths were fine for our stroller but we do have big stroller wheels.

I thought when I was younger that this location was a lot larger than it was when I revisited it on a date. We had a great time looking at the art and talking. It is relatively quiet and the dirt paths were wide and a little hilly. Warning to all is that you GPS may tell you to turn too late, so make sure that you are looking for the sign and not just listening to your directions.

Caponi Art Park is a magical place where a person can escape to a quiet place in Egan, surrounded by nature and discover sculptures to be found along the paths. I was there for the sound garden, a temporary installation that was a wonderful, relaxing experience. The park is a real treasure not to be missed. They also have an outdoor entertainment area for concerts, plays etc.

Would not believe that there is an art park right next to a busy road. Some of the artwork is really intricate and some of them are just there. We love walking to the amphitheatre.

The park itself is absolutely beautiful, however, it is NOT WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY. Loose gravel rodes with deep rivets, steep climbs, and large rocks are not wheelchair friendly. We -could- navigate around, but if you roll your own chair or are not pushed by someone of considerable strength, youre out of luck. Great art, though!

Caponi Art Park is an Eagan treasure. Beautiful wooded grounds, dotted with lakes, sculptures nestled in natural surroundings and plenty of trails. But the highlight is the family friendly summer programming, music, theater, art lessons...all outside, just wonderful!

A beautiful combination of natural and sculpted landscapes. As you walk the trails through the woods you will discover artwork nestled here and there in harmony with and in celebration of the natural world. Theres NOTHING like this in the Twin Cities area. Bring your family and your dog! Great atmosphere! Cool crowds.

Had a wonderful visit to the park to share songs, stories, poems and prayers for the earth. Mrs. Caponi was very gracious. This was our first Sacred Encounter event, sponsored by the Interfaith Creation Care South Metro team. We will have two more events on the fourth Sundays in July and August from 2-3pm.

Fantastic park that I was lucky to happen on. I had a little extra time on my hands one afternoon and I searched the map for a park to explore. I found a whole lot more than that. Caponi is beautifully situated across multiple wooded hillsides. The further down the paths you travel the more art pieces you will come across. The pieces are built to compliment the surroundings and blend so beautifully that at times it seems the process belong there even more naturally that you do yourself. Eventually I came across a stage while wandering and look forward to returning to take in some of their summer musical offerings. A great place to explore whether you have a half hour or a few hours on your hands.

A good place for a quiet walk. I had my visit on the last day they were open for the season, Oct 31st. There was only 1 other couple that was there during our visit. Things may have just been slow because the owner/founder of the park had died just weeks before. It was a really beautiful walk on the trails around the park to look at some sculptures. This park is very popular with Ingress players because each of the sculptures are portals in the game. Expect to see people walking around looking at their phones while there as they are playing the game. The park is only open during the spring through the fall, and there is no cost for parking or admission. They do have donation stations up, and papers asking for volunteers. I emailed asking about being a volunteer, but it was never replied to.

The entrance will sneak up on you midway down the hill, so keep your eye out for a driveway like gate with the sign. Its free to enter, just something you may drive by unless you have your GPS pointing this out.The pathways/ trails are well groomed on both sides of the bridge. and this place was completely empty when we came. The art seemed to be in just one area by the two houses, and the rest of the trails looped back to this point. Great for people who get lost easy, because you cant here.We came during a heat and humidity advisory and seeing the swamp its next to, there was not a single mosquito to bother us. That is just unheard of.
