Great place to see some local made art

I am a ceramic artist and have my studio at Art Works. I love working there. Unlike other studio experiences, I have the freedom to experiment with my own glazed and can fire at any temp I want. I feel that I can fully explore my potential as an artist there. The other studio artists are great; and not just the other ceramic artists. I’ve been able to meet and talk to artists in a variety of media, which has and will continue to influence my work going forward. Art Works has offered me several opportunities to show my work as well - they have several exhibits in their gallery throughout the year and encourage their resident artists to submit work. Overall, I highly recommend Art Works to other artists as a great place to work.

I volunteer at Art Works and am also a board member. I love that we have an exhibition space and performance hall, as well as providing studio space for working and emerging artists. If you havent come to Art Works, you should check it out! You will see some great art and meet more of your community.

Eagan Kickstart Rotary Comedy Show. Funny!

Cute space. Old firehouse converted to a playhouse so upstairs the plays are held. Very hot, no AC, so a window was kept open, however, the noise outside were distracting. Folding chairs are used for seating, uncomfortable. Nothing available for sale but water.

Art Works is an awesome collective of individuals having fun and bringing new experiences to people on so many levels. My personal experience of volunteering at Art Works has reminded me of how we can connect as people on simple common goals. It is a nice reminder of how common goals bring us together.

I had the privilege of performing live music at Art Work Eagans Sunday Salon. The staff was beyond helpful from beginning to end and the folks that came out to support the event was amazing! They are a jewel in the community! A priceless venue where art and culture combine and give the public a place to enjoy it all. A true gem!
