This place is beautiful! The scenery is amazing. The water is freezing but once you get used to it, the cliff diving gets super fun. 10/10 would reccomend for anyone who is wanting to have a fun day.

Beautiful area but they have the sides all fenced off now. Used to be able to go cliff jumping and swimming here.

A must see while you can. Wear a swimsuit or boardshorts. Every level of jump from frightening to mild. The man is trying to close this place down but go by all means. The water is really cold. People are very nice here.

Very popular site but there is plenty of room you dont feel in the way of others. Beautiful, blue water yet clear you could see through. Rock edges to jump off of into the water. Highly recommend!

Live here. Passing through. Nothing to do? Bakers bridge is an amazing part of the Animas river near Durango. With beautiful blue water and amazing cliff jumping for all ages! Water is cold until about May - Aug

This bridge is famous as the location the jumping scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Its about 20-30 feet high while the jump off the cliff looks really high....

Love the rocks! Also love the beautiful scenery when hiking, and my kid and his cousins loved throwing rocks in the water:). I plan to teach them how to skip them soon!

Cold and refreshing water

We go to the Bridge everytime we go to Durango, sometimes to swim. We have never gone in the winter. The sights were amazing. It was stunning during sunset. The river iced over and came up later downstream. Remarkably stunning

Talked to a nice woman at the visitor center who told us about this place. Supposedly where they filmed the cliff jumping scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Water is incredibly blue/green.

Awesome place to go jump at! Bout a 45 ft jump from the center left of the bridge (facing downriver). The jump spot is centered by Xs, one x on the left, one on the right. Jump between them and swim hard for the obvious bottom eddy.Have fun!

We have been to Durango many times. Never knew this was here. Worth seeing! Being your swimsuit, you can jump off the bridge! Beautiful spot right off 550 a little north of Durango.

Sweet place to swim and jump into the water, though a bit sketchy with the water so low this year. Ask a local or watch someone else first to be safe. Saw some guys doing wild rope swing tricks from the bridge, looked fun but super scary!
