This place is terrific. Although modest in size the exhibits are wonderful and varied. The staff is very helpful and its an easy trolley ride from downtown Durango.

(too) Brief sermon in beginning, then self served tour. Interesting level on par with rotating marquee at airport during layover. Bonus was the old cabin outside of the school.

The exhibits are especially interesting and colorful, including skillful flavoring of the wild west days of law(less?) enforcement, and a fine restoration of the adjacent homestead cabin. The staff are wonderfully helpful, knowledgeable and considerate.
