Beautiful hill for hiking with steep slope

Was fun, had a blast seeing my friends play! Would be cool if the seats were warmer? Not sure if thats possible?

It was terrifying. Kinda cool, 8,000 people have worn those skates before. It was fun, it was a good time, I will be back

Good family experience with learners aids.

Fun to go with kids but the atmosphere is stiff, and desk help treats guests with disdain / sense of entitlement. Only attractive young women were greated appropriately. Im sure the scholastic programs, and hocky are great but heard the same story from 5 parents at the same birthday party this week.

Great seasonal ice skating and roller rink in the summer. The ski hill is small, but increasingly steep on the upper end. With snowmaking and grooming equipment, Chapman is a well-provisioned town hill. The staff is awesome, the lodge is spacious and cozy. Such an asset for Durango.

Brand new to ice skating, so it was awesome that the staff was kind and supportive as well as the patrons who were skating along with me... Just a wonderful community. Prices are very reasonable. The rink itself was in great condition. I have not a negative thing to say about the facility or my experience. Will be a long time customer :)

This place was so fun. Call and check the times of free skating as this is a hockey town.

This Ice Rink /Ski Hill is the best around. And thats because Durango is a hockey town. Dont believe me? The whole reason this place exists is because of the local community and their contributions to keep it up and running. The staff at Chapman is also very passionate about their work and live the hockey lifestyle. During the off season, its the only place to go roller skating. But this place shines the brightest during the winter and is a jewel of Durango.

The rink was well groomed and the crowds werent bad.

This is the only ice skating rink nearby. And its really nice. Ive noticed there is alot of adults that are trying to learn to ice skate and there is only kids rental for that push helper thingy, lol. Just the one small size. Wish they had a taller size for adults. Maybe its a safety thing idk. But other than that my kids and I enjoy skating there.

The Durango Roller Derby team was awesome. They blew us away at how exciting and team/fan spirit there is. Id totally forgotten about public skating rink and only $4.00+ $2.00{skate rental} =$6.00total for adults. Good family fun!

We were there for hockey games. Rink is definitely warmer than it used to be. We had two kids that messed up their skates in games the night before and the rink staff got them sharpened in 10 minutes for a great price. Great service.

Ill never forget balancing daughter on one arm and niece on the other as both had fits of laughter at making me fall. Every bump and bruise worth it. All in blue jeans and rental skates (reassuringly fresh and tight, not the athletes foot nightmare of bowling alley memories), the staff and fellow ice goers were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to locals and tourists alike.

The Durango Colorado ice rink is the best around. Great instructors and really nice people.

The ceiling drips and the glass around the rink fogs up so bad you cant see the ice. Its too bad the people arent even nice.
