This humble jackalope claims to be the worlds largest, for now. The town provides a public toilet, well cleaned and shaded picnic tables. While we were there a chatty local stopped to find out where we were from.

We sat down for a picnic, after driving 4 hours and 4 more another after. The park was clean and shady. We were thankful for this place. But the restrooms were locked

Beautiful park. Today the Farmers Market was going on with lots of people. Had a wonderful cinnamon roll there. Our Jackalope was on guard!!

Beautiful little park in the middle of Douglas, perfect for meeting up with friends or enjoying an outdoor lunch break. The park is too small for sports and offers plenty of shaded seating, giving it a relaxing feel. My only criticism is the lack of a public restroom.

A friend told me since I was in Douglas I had to visit the giant Jackalope statue. Still havent decided whether this is a tall tale or not!
