Still Closed as of the writing of this review. (early Oct 2020)Drove by on the interstate. Pulled off for the turn and there is a “closed” across the sign for the attraction at the exit. It is very well marked that it is closed (due to a massive snow storm) on most websites and the signs. I am looking forward to when it reopens.

Wyoming can be classified as a high desert and this area sure exemplifies what you expect from that definition. Until you drive off the main road for a few miles and find this gem. A little river running though a natural bridge surrounding a very nice reservable event park that is also free to the public. During the summer at least, the temperature drops 10 degrees and the water is just the right temperature for wading (with foot coverings on). Or you can play horseshoes, volleyball, or relax in the green space. Dont tell everyone, just those you really care about. Park rangers on site have the place pristine.

Beautiful Place, Good Picnic Stop. The rock is really interesting, you can climb on top of it, and also wade in the river below the rock bridge. A huge, clean, and beautiful park with the river running through it. When going out West, we always make a stop here, and we thoroughly enjoy it. Very close and accessible to the interstate.

Beautiful park. Very well maintained. No pets allowed so that’s good and bad. Room for about 3 mid sized campers and 6-10 tents. Volleyball, horseshoes and corn hole games going all day. Great experience. Will definitely come back again.

I went here for the first time recently and loved it. It was beautiful and well maintained with lots of fun easter eggs to look at and find. There were so many shaded picnic areas and tables. The restrooms were very clean, there was even hand sanitizer in the information booth. I loved how there were books showing the history of the bridge and how it formed. Not only is there is a lot of room to play, but there is a lot to learn about, from labeled rocks to labeled native plants. The water areas were perfect for little kids to splash around in and there were a couple different trails to walk up to the natural bridge, so if one trail is too difficult for you, there is another one for you to try.Definitely will be back soon!

Ayers Natural Bridge is a great family spot. Beautiful place. The host is very nice. We camped here in June this year, and in the fall a couple years ago. Great place to camp and picnic. The picnic side of the park has tables, benches, a volleyball court, covered seating areas, barbeques, horseshoes, play areas, fairy houses, and a gorgeous creek. The gate closes automatically at 8pm, though, so if you are camping, plan accordingly! There are bathrooms, water, tables, and fire pits in camp.Definitely hike to the top of the bridge for a great view!I didnt have cell signal in camp, but I did at the gate. So this is a great spot to get away from screens, be present, and connect with nature.Thank you to our hosts for keeping this place beautiful!

A beautiful little must see stop on your way through Wyoming! I make the trip along this interstate at least a few times a year and I have never stopped here, I am so glad I did now! The park is so beautifully maintained, so clean, and such a beautiful site! But they are not kidding when they say absolutely no dogs!

Wonderful side jaunt, well worth it for a moment or a few hours, no fees. Very calm and serene environment, convenient benches along the river, plenty of shade, trees, and coolness in the protected valley. Play area for smaller kids. Pit toilets scattered throughout the park. Oregon trail plaque roadside on the approach.

This is well worth the five mile drive to the park area...I went there impulsively after driving by the exit, (earlier I had seen a old historical photo of some guys and gals picniking under the bridge, at a local Taco chain in Casper) and figured I would check it out..Awesome!!! Also, peaceful and it was neat to see all the birds, and the views are spectacular and breathtaking!!You can even climb up atop the natural rock bridge, if you are not skittish about heights! I had the park to myself, at sunset, but not hours to mosey around and see all the nuances of this majestic Wyoming landscape..! You will not be disappointed, worth it in so many ways for me....Cheers!

Very beautiful. Great place to go have a picnic. Tables with benches & grills all over. Even a smoker!! Would have gotten more if there were more trails. You can only climb so high on top of the bridge itself. If you have been there you understand why the trails are how they are. Plus a playground for the kids.

This free campground was great! It was extremely well taken care of, clean, and all kinds of things to discover.Be sure you get there before they lock the gate at 8pm though, and I don’t know how hard it is to escape in the middle of the night if you have an emergency. The bridge itself is really cool and makes for some nice pictures. The rest of the campground is great for parties and there were all kinds of hidden fairy houses to find! The camp spots were limited, I think only 4 or 5, and it’s limited to 30’ vehicles. Good for small campers and RVs.

This place is so beautiful! It is in this hidden oasis with trees and a river just 5 miles off the freeway. They have limited camping spots so you need to get there early. The morning sun reflecting off the red cliffs surrounding the area is gorgeous. It is also a great place for day camping with multiple picnic areas, a park, and some hiking trails. And of course, the natural bridge is amazing. It has water running underneath it and my girls love to try to skip rocks across the water.

Well it is one of the few natural bridges that still has water running through it. Great place for kids and BBQs and such not great if you love the untouched beauty of nature. I waited all day for the water to be free of young-ins (children)- it never happened. It does have easy access for elderly and handicap and enough potties for a Saints game...

Ayres Natural Bridge is a beautiful place to visit, have a get together, or to just to relax! In the past couple years they have made some fun little improvements such as little gnomes on stumps or in knot holes. The kids love to find the details throughout the park. We also love to ride the river on tubes, but that definetly needs adult supervision as the rapids can be a little more rough than they look.
