Beautiful park, definitely needs an overhaul but we love it here and are so glad the beach is open again.

This place used to actually be a beach park, now its just a park where you can sit and watch The tourist go on their daily Adventures such as boating, jet skiing, and snorkeling. There are several benches and places to eat, places to cook out, a short little trail to walk, they have a small little nature spot where you can look at the different plants in the water but they dont have benches to sit near there. There is a shower in the parkand there is a power outlet if you are an RV air or a rubber ramper. There is also a bathroom on site with a large sink. There is a small childrens playground also

Public park with a pavilion, a play area for children, and an area for putting in kayaks, paddle boards, and other small, portable water craft.

A delightful hidden gem. The small park has a playground, pavilion, and waterfront with pier to watch pelicans and possibly dolphins from. I gave 3 stars because waterfront is closed for repair from recent hurricane damage and is fenced off. (no access)

Really nice park in terms of physical environment. However, there are some shady folks parking and doing some business. We went in the afternoon around 4:00 and didnt really feel comfortable. Especially with young kids.Just be careful.

Amazing little uncrowded park! It has a playground and a small beach. It is very clean and well kept. It also has a small boardwalk. If you want a less crowded smaller beach on the bay side of the island, this is the place to go.

We had a nice time cooking out. There is a nice grill that has 4 or 5 spaces and a covered area along with water and restrooms. The view of the sunset from here is spectacular and there is a nice fishing pier however the inlet water/ beach isnt great for swimming. On the negative side a bum asked me if he could buy my beer and there was a pair soiled of womans panties on the floor near the pavilion.

Wedding with little space to walk around. Decrepit pier, no up keep to the swimming area, water craft came right up to the smallest beach. Shameful!

Gr
Review №17

It is a nice park. I love how there are trees all through the parking lot. There is a nice pavilion, a gymnastics bar, a swing set and tire swing. There is a deck for looking at wetlands. It seems like it has not been updated for 10 or 15 years though. There is years old hurricane damage that prevents you from getting to the water. It seems like it would be really nice to walk along the shore.

Je
Review №18

A wonderful park along the water. Has wonderful playground with swings and slides for the kids. There is a large pavilion with a huge grill which looks nice. There is a huge downside along the water(Im assuming storm damage). There is a pavilion and 2 long docks that are all blocked off with chain link fence. You can walk up to the fence but you cant get close to the water and really enjoy the view. Hopefully that will be repaired in the future.

One of our favorite places to visit when we are in Destin. Its a quiet little park located on the intercoastal. There used to be a beautiful pavilion located right by the water, not sure what happened to it, hopefully they are rebuilding it. If youre looking for a great place to enjoy your treats from Donut Hole, look no further, this is it.

Beautiful but still fenced in so that u cant get into the water. Still havent fixed up the park from the hurricane a few years ago. Homeless couple living in the park, sleeping right in the middle of the park which was surprising to my kids. Nice playground area. Seemingly in a nice neighborhood as well.

I have been going to Clement Taylor Park for 21 years now my son had his first-year birthday there with Giggles the Clown and have been there many of times where we are just doing yoga or cookouts or grazing just laying there, or to take a few photos watching the sunset its a beautiful Park. I sure hope the city gets the pier put back together after the damage from the hurricane and the fence down soon hopefully maybe by next year next spring.

Free kayak and canoe launch. They were charging $10 down the street. The kids had a great time playing in the playground and the beach. They found a few crabs loved watching them crawl in the water. We also had a great game of volleyball. My only concern is that they need to add more sand or remove some of the rough areas in the volleyball court. I got a nice scrape on my leg after diving for a ball.

I never would have found this little park if not for my at-home business, Jewelry In Candles, hosting a representative BQ and get-together at this park a couple of years ago. Meet and Greets were held all over the US where enough representatives were interested in getting together and sharing ideas, and finding out more about the company. Since Destin is only about a 4.5 hour drive, I signed up for the day. My husband agreed to the day trip if I would throw in a stop on the way home for some Gulf seafood. That sounded like a perfect deal so we went! The park was easy to find with the GPS and we were surprised to find such a nice park tucked away with so much to offer.Clement Taylor Park was clean and presented a family atmosphere. There were other families there, children playing in the park and playground and also down by the Gulf or Bay front. There is also a small beach area if you want to get in the water for a little dip.BQ pits are available for groups or families wanting a day of fun in the park. Covered areas with picnic tables are also available, which made our purpose wonderful and comfortable. Im not sure is there is a cost to reserve space or not, so would advise contacting park management if you are interested in reserving space for certain dates.Restrooms are also here and were clean on our visit. The park is shady, lots of room for kids to run around and play, for picnics or just talking a little stroll through the park for some relaxing. This park is located on the Bay side of the Gulf of Mexico and a great place to watch boaters or catch a dolphin or two jumping for your entertainment. All in all, Im a bit jealous that this park is not closer to my home for weekly visits! Very nice and enjoyable day! Oh, and the seafood dinner on the way home at Peg Leg Petes in Pensacola was spectacular!

Perfect place to take your family. Play ground for the little ones. Large pavilion with built-in bbq grills and picnic tables. Wide open yard area to play games. Gazebo over looking the bay. Plus a little beach and swimming area to make some splashes. Oh yeah and a dock you could do some fishing. Fun in the sun all day long!

This is a small park but on the bay. We were here for the sumset and it was beautiful. There is also a number of birds around that I like to photograph. A small playground is at the far corner away from the water. There is also a pavillion that can keep you out of the hot sun. There is not a lot of parking spaces but not a lot of people know about this park!

This is our favorite park to go to! Its beautiful and super tranquil! My ONLY issue with this park is the bathrooms dont really get tended to. The locks on the stalls are broken off and theres never any toilet paper in the stalls. Good thing I Cary tissues with me at all times! Oh, I guess the other thing is theres a lot of homeless people that hang out there and some of them sit at the gazebo and watch the kids and parents. Its possible that they mean no harm but with all the craziness in the world its definitely slightly concerning.
