This place is like a beach candy store… If you had to the beach and you’ve forgotten something you will find it here… They have everything from flip-flops, suntan lotions, sunblock, to seashell chandeliers, waterproof ID bags, to can drink insulators....you name it they’ve got it....

Too much Trump paraphernalia. I dont want religion in my elvis island. Also there were nice trinkets. Way too few elvis trinkets for elvis island. I didnt see one elvis there. 2.5 stars.

First impression - tooo cramped with a lot of stuff!!Its hard to walk around within the store. Easy to spot or find, access from the road.Friendly staff and they would ask or help to find what you are looking for.Tons of items to choose from, not well arranged though. You could easily spend good hour or two if you are not sure of what you want.

Great deals here make your $ go farther! Affordable baseball caps are what I found.

My family and I were in dire need of some destin shirts, so what better place than to go to Alvins Island!? We went to all of the Alvin and other tropical beachwear stores and we decided that store #750 is by far the best on all of scenic 98 and Destin. From the amazing workers who work endlessly folding T-shirts, to the amazing Destin apparel they have on the clearance rack outside! They even made a point to say they remembered us from when we were in the store earlier that week which made us feel noticed and seen! We truly thought that store 750 is the home base of all Alvin Island stores. Every single one of them wore masks which made me feel safe as I walked through the store. I have never written a review on anything, but this one was needed!

Always a pleasure shopping here. Got a fresh outfit for a kayak trip in 15 minutes. Looking good and got for a reasonable price since the store always has 25%-50% off on many items.

Beach was wonderful, just get ready to be crowded! Not enough room to set up much. But aside from that, its wonderful! The sandbar is awesome!

This place had better pricing and slightly less tacky options than the place across the highway. My boys got buy-one-get-one free sweatshirts totaling $10 each.

The staff was helpful and nice, but the quality of their henna is questionable to say the least. Never have had black henna before, just looked it up and it can cause chemical burns. It has smeared and smudged every day since Ive had it. It I didnt live so far away, Id demand a refund! DONT DO IT!

Staff was rude and not friendly at all. Cashier didnt want to give us our free promotion item according to our minimum purchase amount. Pricing was kind of high considering the quality of products. My family and I traveled from Atlanta and for a group of 11 ladies we spent hundreds of dollars at this establishment. We deserved better service and when we notified management we were met with an attitude of non concern and no accountability for bad service.

NO SWIMSUITS RETURNS!!! Buyers beware! Bought 2 swimsuit suits for my daughters. They didnt want them so I went the next morning to return and they wouldnt give my money back. Had the tags on and everything!! Luckily the manager gave me store credit so all was not lost. But we found better quality and cheaper prices at Walmart. Just saying.

Loved the variety of things they had... Only down side was it just seemed too crowded. Like they packed it too tight to actually try and look at everything they had to offer. But did loved the merchandise that they had! Super cool!!

Great selection of items to choose from but the staff was terrible. At checkout the cashier was complaining about the mess and how she would not be able to leave until everything was done, I understand the frustration but you should not be voicing it to the customers. On here the closing time is midnight they rushed us as soon at 10:55pm to take everything to the register to checkout, if the closing time is 11 then please change the time.

Two more stars than they deserve. Short haired pixie cut Checkout lady was the rudest cashier i have ever met. If you want to touch their shirts… DONT! Don’t touch anything after 10 o’clock the short haired checkout lady will yell at you. Short haired checkout lady gives you the evil eye every time she sees you. They say you can have a free taffy bucket it your purchase… but don’t bother with this. If you want a bag to carry your items out with you don’t qualify for the taffy. We spent over double the required amount of money for the taffy. We looked in our bag after leaving and saw we didn’t have taffy! We went back and showed them our receipt and the short haired cashier looked at us and said, “Beach Bag. ”. we told her we got one and and would gladly trade it in for taffy. She said we could do that. On our way out a really nice worker with a beard handed us a box of taffy. So the male workers were super nice. The store was also really cluttered and the sizes were way off. But I can’t complain much about it being cluttered because of the big selection. Overall just avoid this store. Or maybe just avoid Short haired cashier ladies at this store. 7/22/18 at 10:16 p.m.

Decent selection of touristy stuff and bathing suits. Not crazy overpriced but these items only get purchased because people are on vacation and bargain shopping isnt essential. Dont bother the staff because theyll get angry that they have to actually do something for a change.

This place is terrible! Clothes are everywhere and it’s honestly the dirtiest place I’ve been in. You can tell the employees don’t care about anything at all. I was waiting in line to check out and they have hermit crabs in a tank with NO WATER AT ALL and they’re all piled on top of each other. This place is honestly disgusting and I’d recommend going to a different location. They don’t even deserve 1 star. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

Staff was pretty rude but amongst the typical tourist junk, found a cool item. A lot of it is overpriced, too. They charge $15 for a strainer on a stick for picking up shells.

BUYERS BEWARE! This company does not care about their customers. We purchased multiple shirts on our vacation. We washed them before wearing and the print came off all 6 shirts. The screening is very poor. I called to discuss the issue with their corporate office and they said I could pay shipping back to them for a exchange only. I asked what if it happens again and they said they would not discuss that with me. They are very rude and are ripping off travelers by selling cheap and defective product. Please save your money and shop somewhere else.

Tons of clothes and souvenirs but not great quality. Tightly packed with merchandise can seem crowded in here. Prices are not bad but the quality of clothes is not much. What interaction we had with employees was positive. If you are looking for a cheap shirt or hat this is your place.

I HATE IT. Dont touch anything and I mean ANYTHING at or after 10:00 P.m. Just hmmmm. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would give 0 star if allowed Heck even -40 for that mater.

Overall typical souvenir shop with great deals. However if you come to buy a hermit crab you will find the tank of hermit crabs in very poor condition.

Staff was unfriendly and the coffee mug I purchased totally disintegrated the first time it was washed (and no, it did not say it could not be washed in a dishwasher). Total junk sold here, purchase somewhere else!

Pretty decent prices, but as another review said the customer service was pretty bad. Also be wary of their return policy, I had purchased a snorkeling set there and wanted to return in a couple hours later (not even opening the set due to rough swimming conditions) and was not able to refund it. Should have shopped at walmart.

We loved the huge selection of shirts and other items you could buy to remember your trip. Im not sure the prices are competitive but we felt they were very reasonable for the quality of shirts especially.

Rude ladies that work there. Wouldnt return broken snorkels we just paid $60 for 2 hours ago. Acted like we were stupid for even asking and we were inconveniencing them by even coming in. Cashier apologized to the manager for having to bother her for a return. Just took my broke items and left.

Very rude stuff! No one was friendly or very helpful. Rude answers and even ask if I could bring another clothes to the check out because they didn’t had Tags and than ask me if I could bring them back again! No customer service at all! Very disappointed!

Alvins is always a fun place to go. Huge selection of suvioners at really great prices.

I just went in there and accidently dropped a shot glass that was 3.99 and honestly took it up to the counter saying that I did it and everything AND STILL GOT CHARGED FOR IT. are you kidding me? You cant spare 3.99? I worked at bath and body works and people who drop our 22.95 dollar candles and still not get charged BECAUSE IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. Way to end my last day here in Destin.

If you are looking for souvenirs to take back home with you this is the store, I recommend looking for their $2 key rings :)

Horrible customer service. On 7/18/2017, the female cashier and female manager were incredibly ugly. I purchased a $7 plastic toy, and after getting in the car and opening it, I realized it was broken. I walked right back inside and they refused to exchange it and said I was lying and that they didnt trust that I didnt break it myself. Horrible people!

Its a good place to go for cheap souvenirs and airbrushed /painted tee shirts, its a tourist trap store, giant building with beach stuff and any sort of merchandise you can imagine with Destin on it.
