The guy at register was less than rude, it was like he went out of his way to let you know he didn’t want us there. We greeted him very energetically and he just stared while ringing us out. Never uttered a word.This junky store has a monopoly on the island, you see them everywhere. But support another business. Especially if you’re of a certain skin tone.

We had so much fun me and kids. Theres gana be a next time. Next year!

Uhh y’all. I hate to do this but we come every year and it’s normally a nice place to shop. I just left and I was astonished at how messy this place was.... I’m in utter shock at the disarray of this business location. Stickers, merchandise, trash...EVERYWHERE. Good sales but I’d argue nothing of quality could come out of here. Go elsewhere. I felt as if I was in the twilight zone

It looks fine on the outside. But in the inside, the bathroom is very dirty. The line is very long. It took like 15 mins.

The store had great prices for shirts outside, but the inside of the store was a let down. It was hard to move because things were packed in so tight. There were many things blocking the aisles. Most things were extremely overpriced. Some of the workers were helpful. The music inside was terrible and had many cuss words. I would recommend only shopping here for shirts.

There was an employee in the back who was folding clothes who was rude to us when we asked her a question. I dont expect much from a touristy store, but politely answering a simple question about an item isnt much to ask.

The service was terrible. The cashier ignored us and we had to ask him to check us out. The store was messy and I organized. With as many Alvins Islands as there are, I would skip past this one.

Purchased a snorkle and goggles for $50. When I got to the beach, it sprung a leak in the rubber tubing after 10 minutes. I called back within 30 minutes of purchasing the product but they cant accept returns on beach accessories. Unreliable product and no refund at all. $50 Down the drain.

These people are downright RUDE!!! The few employees I encountered have no business working in customer service. Just an FYI, us tourists are the reason you have a job. Keep that in mind the next time you encounter a guest in-store or over the phone.

Do not stop here, I repeat DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! the owner was extremely rude, and would not honor the prices the sale signs stated. She continued to tell me over and over again it was only for marked items except there were NO marked items. There was a table with a sign that said 7.99 or 2 for 15. I grabbed two shirts then a table of shirts that were 10.99 of you bought 3 or more. It was the same concept. Only she would not honor the 7.99 sale!!!!!!! She was RUDE about it too. I had at least 100.00 worth of merchandise, I handed it all to her and walked out. I tried to explain over and over again that 2 for 15 or buy 3 or more is the same exact concept, buy more they get cheaper , she wasnt hearing it. Went down the street to a different store not owned by the same company and got the exact same stuff at even cheaper prices. Much better selection too. Dont waste your time or money in tropical waves, they are RUDE!!!!!!!

Omg!!! Do not shop here. My Husband ( who never shops) went in there with me to get tee shirts and souvenirs for everyone. He said get what you need. Thank God I was with him at the register when he paid. The REAL total was 158.00. The girl told him 368.00. He was just about to pay it remember ( not a shopper!!) he had no idea what things cost. I said wait a minute!!!! Another Woman came over, laughing and said she had accidentally put X12 on an item in the register!! That was a lie. The first girl tried to rip us off. They were rude, unhelpful, unfriendly, The first girl looked at me very nervously and knew she had been caught. I should have just canceled the transaction and walked out. Never, ever again. Be very careful in this awful store. A lot of other choices out there.

When you need and extra set of clothes on vacation, this is an okay place to stop (as long as youre not too big and not too small). Mostly its full of overprices dollar store trinkets to buy as souvenirs for the folks thats didnt fo on vacation with you. No public bathrooms either, which makes it hard to visit with kids. Theres a nicer place down the road.

This used to be a great place to shop as a kid. But anymore seems like junk! After the owner sold the place the new owners....... well into higher prices and not so much customers service.

They have a huge sign about feeding the sharks. I wanted to spend my money here since they have an attraction. Every time I go in they tell me a different time (5 different occasions ) Maybe I will try again the last lady says it is at 10am. I wont spend a dime if they got my 9 year old worked up for nothing.

Came in to look for souvenir to take back home. The store is huge and they have large selection of everything but they lacking in extra small size. We brought a photo frame and when it time to check out the cashier didn’t offer to wrap the frame up with newspaper to protect it from breaking nor a bag to carry it in. Overall, the store is huge, great selection, but not customer friendly and lacking customer service.

Very expensive and food was not that good. It was 86.00 for 4 of us. We order a 23.99 steak, cheeseburger paradise, and 2 grilled chicken sandwich means. The bun was twice size of the piece of chicken and the Green beans was horrible.

I went to Alvins and bought two bathing suits, the next day I needed to return one because It rained on my vacation and never had a chance to wear it. The 60.00 dollar bathing suite still had the tags on it and was in perfect condition and clerk refused to let me return it per their return policy. I understand rules but the clerk was so rude and stuck up , if your going to buy something nice at this price I recommend buying it from a reputable place of business where you know you are getting quality and customer support . This Alvin wants to sell bathing suits at high cost but they are babys when it comes to business and customer service. In other terms they are a joke.

We only stop here for towels for the beach. Everything is expensive and it is trash just go to the mall. The black old cashier was rude didnt even talk she looked miserable and angry. Walmart has better swimsuit things.

This place tried to rip me off and tried to make me pay for somthing twice.Very rude, employee needs training on customer service.I stood in line, rang up the items, and the cashier gave me the change and receipt and then said she would be back(did not put the items in a bag and left it on the counter). Sent another person to the register who started ringing up the items. I told her that I already paid and I also showed her my receipt then she called me a lier. The customer behind me also told that I had paid. She then place the item in the bag and I left.

Extremely rude customer service. My mom was in line to check out after my grandma and once my grandma paid, the lady behind the cash register walked off and left my mom in line waiting for her. We tried to tell one employee we were ready to check out but she kept walking away from us and ignored us. Then when she walked up to the front of the store my mom tried to get her attention again and the lady said Im on the phone and walked away again. After waiting in line to check out for 10 minutes when we were already behind my grandma in line, we finally decided to just leave without buying anything.

Make sure you pay attention when checking out. There was a young girl with blonde curly hair at the register. She was talking to me and my husband was talking to me , later noticed she charged for a bag 16.99 that I didnt get and I didnt notice until later and was unable to drive back to DestinCalled several time # on receipt and no answer. Lesson learned!

Bad experience manager is not helpful and does not make you feel welcomed. I needed help with an exchange and she seemed annoyed and irritated.

They have a sign that offers free hermit crabs with the purchase of the cage, I just wanted to look at them so I went in. Im almost positive the few that were in there were dead or not well. It smelled awful and fruit flies were collecting.I told the girl working and she said oh... Shouldnt that be part of a checklist when you open the store to check on the crabs? So sad and unprofessional.

Terrible Henna tattoo. T-shirts are over priced and fall apart after being washed. Also, everyone there is quite rude and the store is crowded with smelly tshirts and junk.
