I love this place. The new management is awesome. Vicky, grace, and Kevin have all been wonderful with our family. My husband and I have been coming for several years. The mineral water is chemical free and the grounds are so beautiful classic and charming. I love the aviaries with peacocks, doves, and baby chickens. The best part it that it’s been just about the same since the 80s! I have photos of my grandparents in front of the office in 1984.Rvs spots are $60 and are full service. Rooms are clean, simple, and very convenient. My husband and I used to come in our RV for vacations, and after wishing we could just live at the spa, we bought a mobile home here so we could!Best idea ever!

My family and I have been coming to Sams for about 5 or 6 years now. We have never had any issues with the place, and as always, the staff is very friendly and welcoming to the spa guests. All amenities are clean, organized, and perfect for someone who needs to wind down after working tirelessly during these past few months. That is why we decided to bring my mom to Sams on her birthday. Upon arrival, Vicky and Grace were extremely courteous to us in allowing my mom to celebrate here. I understand that there is a new management, and so far, my family and I dont have any complaints! (As long as the prices dont go up, my family will continue to come and enjoy Sams family spa. :D )

Nice place, but a bit worn out. Lots of full time residents living in shacks. Few sites big enough for us at 44’ mh, but they found one for us. Only real knocks are location is out in the boonies and park WiFi is not useable for anything, including surfing web and reviewing emails. Fortunately a big cell tower is very close, so we used it to stream on hotspot.

Great customer service at the front desk. Pools were clean, $60 per night to camper or RV camp. Tent camping allowed too, not sure of price. Motel rooms are overpriced, and they are old and rundown, been there done that. Great place to bring family or special someone, with birds in sanctuary, you can feed the many fish, ducks, & swan. Volleyball court, picnic tables, BBQs, shade from lots of trees, & waterfalls. It even has a little grocery store in office for munchies, beer, soft serve ice cream, charcoal for grills, etc. A tranquil place to visit.

Great spot, squeaky clean spa pools, saunas, restrooms, both at the spa and throughout the park, paved streets, concrete sitting pads at each site. Safe, including evening security services, and friendly guests that love the amenities like we do. Surrounded by snow capped mountains, but sunny and 75° most days. Only shortfall is the 10 mile drive to the main restaurant/entertainment boulevard in Palm Springs. Still a great spot though.

Poor management the lady rides around in a golf cart just to stop and ask why I was walking my dog. Then she asked if I lived here. I told her I checked in a week ago. She said I need to walk my dog on my own site, very mean. Not customer friendly at all!Plus The same day I was checking in I saw the manager (same lady Debbie )attacks a customer for no reason I saw! To top it off the poor lady had kids present. I should have known at that point go somewhere else!Bad bad place to call a family spa!

We had stayed here before in 2016. We called ahead to make reservations and they had us in the computer. They said reservations were not needed as there was plenty of room in December. Took time off, drove 2 and a half days from WA state to get here only to be turned away because our Motorcoach is older than 10 years and doesnt have a RVIA sticker (This is a certification program for commercially built RVs, in other words he was telling us that if we dont have a new commercial built RV we are not welcome) Thanks for the heads up and letting us know when we called ahead to make reservations. Grateful there are other businesses in the area that have class and appreciate classic RV restorations and the money Im willing to spend at their establishments. Pic for reference of vehicle turned away.

Bring an ice chest n BBQ up ur lunch. Bring ur own drinks or buy at their store. No alcohol by the pools. Bring a blanket n take a nap on the grass in the shade. Bring a volleyball and play on the top grass area. Lots of caged birds, ducks & egrets on the pond to feed. My family has been going there for 40 years. Was truly looking forward to good family time here but couldn’t really enjoy it. First and foremost we never felt welcomed by the office staff. I’ve felt that racist vibe in the past but chose to ignore it and focused on my family instead. Sleeping in the beds was quite challenging. You could feel stuff crawling on the legs and itchy throughout the night. Not to mention the bug bites when you get up in the morning. Horrible. Oh and make sure not to forget to tidy up your rooms before you leave cause they’ll charge you and tell you you trashed the place. Or is it just the Latino people that they fuss about. Oh well first and last time here for us. Never going back again.

Its a good place to relax and have fun with your family. The grounds are well kept the pools are clean. The reason that I am writing this is because they need to be more kid friendly, their is a guy there that is always harassing the kids on what they can do in the pool. No balls, no diving, no running. Absolutely no playing. Kids need to be kids and they are the reason that we visit this place, so that they can have fun. OR they should just host to seniors and dont have to deal with the kids at all and the families can take there business somewhere else. I bet that there are plenty of places that would love to take our money.

Wonderful and relaxing FAMILY spa. Please dont come here thinking this is some fancy pants spa! This is more family oriented and quaint (kinda old, nothing has changed in the past 30 or so years). Its a diamond in the rough. So many bad reviews from people who expected something different. My parents used to bring us here as kids and now Im doing the same with my kids. It was very enjoyable experience, we rented the mobile home for a couple days (way too expensive it was super old) we kinda overlooked the age of the mobile home because all we did was essentially shower, cook and sleep there. We spent our days in the pools and spas or eating in one of the soft grassy areas. The beds were very very comfy better than some upscale resorts Ive stayed in, believe it or not I was pleasantly surprised with how comfy the beds were. If youre looking for upscale please keep on searching if youre more down to earth then this might just be your Oasis in the desert.

Great pool, not too deep, there are some rules for the pool, your not allowed to have floaties, except life-jackets, but all the five times we have been there, the staff were super friendly, and they had no problem with our goggles and snorkels. The hot-tubs are entirely non-chemical, and they drain them every night to prevent mold from forming. Also there are 5 hot tubs and there heat sorted. One is kind of too hot for the kids, but the last one is about body temperature! I highly recommend this!!

The Sam’s Family Spa was a complete disappointment. Our family stopped for two nights on our way to beach. Let me just say that this was the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager did not know how to deal with guests and was extremely rude. The pool is not family friendly as my kids could not even use a snorkel and goggles because of the rules. My children were not be disruptive or loud, but simply snorkeling and they were made to feel like they had called the managers momma fat. We asked to check out early (before check-out time) and get our money back for the second night and the manager said no because we did not want to follow the rules. We simply wanted to find a resort in which our children could play in the pool and not be harassed, and find a place where we felt welcome. We have traveled and stayed at multiple hot springs in the southwest and never had any problems. Save your time and money and find a place that truly cares and is thankful you chose them to visit. What a joke!!!

All my brand new tools were stolen, my neighbors generator, bikes, and patio furniture as well! BE THAT AS IT MAY- When I filed a police report, I promptly asked for video surveillance of the entrance during the time(s) of the thefts. Unfortunately, I cant really recommend this place. They dont put their policies on their website, and they have inconsistent policies on website versus at the actual site (at the spa its 8 people per site, but online its 6 people per site). So, there were all these issues with how many people we had at our sites. They wanted us to book more sites so that we would spend more money. I just felt like they were trying to take advantage of us while being intentionally deceptive. Not especially transparent business practices. Crooks.

We were excited to stay here, but have been greatly disappointed by the horrible customer service. We set up two tents the first night and slept comfortably. The next day, staff treated us like we were deceptively trying to break the rules. They rudely informed us that only one “sleeping unit” is allowed per site. They treated us like we knew the rule and were intentionally trying to get away with something. We are a family of six and don’t have a tent big enough fo all of us. As they were completely empty, we tried to reason with them that there may be no harm in making an exception. I feel they could have been polite, but that was never their plan. The rules about the pool are also anything but family friendly. No toys, and our kids got yelled at for having goggles and a snorkel. Overall, we just walk away with a bad taste in our mouth following this visit.

We arrived at 11:15PM. Since no one was there, we had to Google the nearest hotel and stay at the Aqua. This is most unfortunate because we were very much looking forward to the experience. As you know life happens and doesn’t always go as planned. I’m also a yoga studio owner and know this more than anyone.
