What a gem! This is truly a park for the people. You can run or cycle around the park (one loop is a bit over 2 miles), you can come fishing, taking a boat ride in the lake, playing outdoor games, or having a picnic with family and friends, or you can simply chill in the shade and read a book. Great infrastructures and facilities around the park as well.Wash Park is my favorite during my visit to Denver, its always so lively and makes me feel alive.

We are from out of town and did a 5k race here. In addition to the people racing there were so many people running, walking, biking, rollerblading, etc. Seems like a great place to enjoy fresh air in a nice neighborhood! I would probably run here all the time if were local. We walked around a bit afterwards to check out some of the nice houses in the area. The inside loop of the park was a little over 2 miles.

What a beautiful park! Very large lol. Just relocated and we dont have parks like this! There was lots going on, very busy, but not crowded at all. The trees are amazing! You can see the mountains on the horizon too. Loved it. Everyone was being safe. Definitely must visit! Bring your dog! Grab a blanket and some food! Will definitely be back again and again.

Lots to do. Walking the park is fun and taking in the beautiful skies and views. There is a small building where you may rent bikes(for the whole family) to ride and paddle boats to ride on lake with. A new playground area that was just finished 2019 I think. Different but my kids like it and enjoying going all the time. Great place for family and school photos. Also if you play its a amazing play to play Pokémon go!!!.....lol

I love Wash Park! Its beautiful. Lots of different paths to walk/bike, lots of open space, beautiful neighborhood. I will say, I was really disappointed with the number of people not wearing masks, and the complete lack of social distancing. Youd think there wasnt, ya know, a global pandemic going on. Wouldnt recommend for a high-risk individual right now. But thats not a reflection of the park, just the visitors, so 5 stars

Our old stomping grounds. Wish we hadnt sold our house there! Couldnt afford to buy it today. But the park is still lovely, and so large that, even when crowded, it feels spacious and anyone can find a spot of sun or shade and lay out a picnic...or just repose.

Any other time I would give this place at least 4 stars however I just stopped here to use the bathroom and my goodness it was packed with people. Given the circumstance this was ridiculous. I get it people want to be done with this stuff but man at least be clean about it. It looked like a festival had just taken place. Great place to relax though. If you are concerned about the virus you may want to avoid this place or at least be cognizant of who is around you. There are nets set up for volleyball and the track around the park seems to be of use as well. In my short time being there this seems like the hot sport for everyone that wants to get out of the house. Enjoy but be safe.

Its a great park to go and walk around. The only quarrel I have is that it is very popular which makes it a bit crowded on some days. I suggest you either go in the late night or mid-day since that seems to be the least popular times. My favorite thing to do is go in the evening and find the geese around the lake. They all group together and then collectively jump into the lake. I love them very much and they are good goose boys. The lake provides lovely scenery!

The bike/walking path is great for anyone who wants to go for a stroll or get on whichever set of non-morotized wheels they fancy. My favorite thing though is just coming out to the park with a picnic, my dogs, and friends. We often bring a Frisbee, soccer ball, or other lawn games. Other people bring volleyball nets and set up for an entire afternoon of fun. We usually bring our camping chairs, a cooler, and a canopy on a sunny, busy day. Only need the canopy on a day thats so busy the shady spots are all taken.I will say, parking around here can be tricky. Be sure to watch out for the permit only parking signs and be courteous to the people who live near the park. Dont block their driveways!
