This park reflects everything of Denver the good & the bad. From happy pups to homeless people right next door to the most powerful person in CO right next door. Park is always filled with homeless people and they trash the place in the mornings. Pretty sad that its right next to the governors mansion.

Its a nice enough park, fairly tiny, but it merges into the grounds of the Boettcher Mansion. The park is on a significant slope and its lower reaches, covered in concrete, are frequented by Denvers many homeless people; the clueless City cant come up with anywhere better for them to be.

Quiet, beautiful little historical park with lots of grassy knolls and shade. I enjoy the peaceful scenery and spending time with a friend/client teaching everything from handstands to partner acro!

A microcosm of Denver. One Friday morning we witnessed a handful of dogs on the run, a few kids in the playground, several homeless camps, a few joggers, a couple groups of construction workers on a lunch break and a wedding at the very top. Definitely an interesting and lively place.

Lots of my fellow homeless throughout the day and night. Dont sleep here after curfew. PD makes regular rounds through the park on foot. I unfortunately was that overnighter back in September 2019!!

Great small park right by the Governors Mansion, good place for walking dogs, fun mix of people passing through, and great spot for seeing weddings at Grant-Humphreys Mansion.

Its a beautiful park Great place to go to people watch. Has a playground but wouldnt take my kids there...unless I wanted to show them why they should never try methamphetamines. I give it a 5 out of 5

Dont go here. It is unfortunately very overrun with homeless groups. Shopping carts. Tarps. Garbage. Shirtless smoking men. Not a great place for kids despite the playset in the middle.

A very nice park, however every time I am there the homeless presence is strong and almost always someone is cussing and knocking over trash cans. I always end up leaving pretty quickly.. its too bad because it is a lovely place

This could easily be a 5 star park, but unfortunately there is always an abundance of homeless people here. Youre bound to hear profanities or see violence. My best advice is to go when there is snow on the ground.

Its small, but there is a play area and a hill. The landscaping is really well-kept. There is a nice path that goes through. Its in between the governors mansion and Humphreys mansion. Sometimes people let their dogs off-leash and it can be a little over-whelming if you have a small dog.

Governors Park is a small bit of greenery adjacent to the Governors mansion located between 7th and 8th avenues bounded roughly by Logan and Pennsylvania. There is a small playground with swings and a slide. A lot of dog walkers. Of concern is a growing contingent of mendicants and palliards many under the influence of meth.

I came in tonight with my friend who practically lives at this cess hole. I was not impressed. Some nasty blonde girl walked the bar like her you know what didnt stink (geez could you at least look like Taylor Swift if you are going to cop an attitude????), and finally got us some beers. While she walked in front of us for the umpteenth time working diligently to serve shots to the folks more in desperately need of attention than us, I had the audacity to ask if I could order a chicken sandwich and she looked at me in disgust, and said, Im busy!!! Places like this that put a girl like that in charge of serving clients like me (I am a CU Boulder graduate, I have a condo uptown and a house up north) make me want to f-ing puke!!! This place caters to frat wannabes and the service just plain sucks. If you were actually hot I may have wanted to endure your bad attitude for up to a minute. Service sucks...this is a great place to forget about being worthy of decent treatment.
