Ill do it when it was a hold to cant wait to see it when its new. I used to call it my underground bunker. As to be dungeon(batcave) that lay below the structure. I really think it was meant to be a bomb shelter for higher-ups back in the sixties and seventies. But thats just my opinion either way its a great park with great views lots of grass.

Love the history of this location. Such a beautiful and gracious place that the city of Denver has provided. The park has plenty of space with many happy healthy young people, relaxed seniors, Moms exercising, Nannies with babies. Lovely situation.

I really like this park when I have my dog with me, since theres lots of space. It can get pretty hot in the summer, most of it isnt covered with any trees or shade. Its best to go with some kind of canopy if youll be there a while when the suns out. Otherwise its beautiful!

A great place to view sunrise, sunset, eat lunch, stargaze or watch fireworks. The hilltop view of the Rocky Mountain front range is enhanced by informative peak profiles etched atop the patio steps. Theyre restoring the grand patio and large solid flagstone sundial. Never crowded, but I havent been there on July 4th.

This nice park hosts several soccer fields that are well maintained. Soccer leagues use these in the evenings and weekends (mostly mornings). There is ample parking on the street and a port-a-potty that, although smelly, serves its purpose.

This is a beautiful place, and worth visiting. My suggestion is to go when most of the plants are green rather than in the winter. We still enjoyed our visit in February and are happy we went. It just makes us want to go back when most of the outdoor plants are green!

Great park with views of the backcountry. The famous sundial is under renovation now, but is a really cool little feature to the place. Only gripe would be it gets a little crowded with team sports in the spring and summer.
