Its a great place to come by yourself or with your bestfriend(s). There are a lot of people who bring their dogs which range from big to small so I would not leave a small child unattended. But there is also a kids playground which is rather nice. However there are a lot of homeless people who gather across the street and and a few who camp close by so its not a place I would go to have a picnic

Its an ok park with a mediocre playground for the kids. The fountain from what I remember stays empty throughout the year. There is a large area with nice thick green grass and a bunch of shade trees. There are times where I felt in probably best to go elsewhere for my kids to play due to the people hanging out around fountain yelling cussing once or twice fighting but 9 times out of 10 its a mostly quiet little park with no issues and nothing to worry about.

My first review was 11 months ago, and now we know this is the best place for order and delivery. This time I ordered the Chilled Vietnamese Noodle Bowl with Steak, and it is now my favorite dish from ClusterTruck. Great food, great service, easy and reliable delivery. Just outstanding.

Nice park plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Its pretty basic but adequate given its downtown location. They have a couple of groups come down and donate food to the homeless and needy.Nevertheless, it has a welcoming feel and fairly diverse population attending.

Didnt really walk around that much as it is not a normal sized park. However, it is a nice fairly peaceful place to hangout. I will definitely return! However, I do have to mention this older supposed gentleman walking his dog thinking that its okay for him to take a suitcase, etc...(EVERYTHING THAT THE HOMELESS OWN) and carry it to the trash can. It wasnt his yard/property so Im not exactly sure whom he believes he is but all I can say is thats unforgivable & karma will find you! Please, have a heart people, especially when they are not doing any harm to you! ( Sorry, no pic, I was furious & couldnt stay there️).

Its a beautiful little park that was once in an open space of sorts, but is now surrounded by mid-rise apartments, some of the most gorgeous historical homes in the area, and several restaurants, bars, etc.The one element that makes this park little more than a space to pass through for me? The vast number of folks loitering throughout the day, utilizing the space as a go-between from Five Points to Capitol Hill to Downtown. As such, one will most likely encounter vagrant transient folks and the like-- some of whom can be rather aggressive; thats not quite what I am looking for in a park space.Regardless, from this spot, one can see a unique view of the timeline of immense growth, change, and transformation the city has undergone in the past several years.

Nice little park near my apartment. I primarily come here to walk my dog. The grass is well kept and green. Its usually not crowded and I can keep my overly alpha dog away from other dogs.Downsides is the growing homeless population and drug scene. The homeless dont bother me that much, but when its warm out, theres up to 40 people sleeping in the park, which speaks to a larger issue in Denver. The drug scene does bother me. Fortunately it seems to be contained around the fountain, but its not a good scene nonetheless. In the summer, at all hours of the day there is a gathering of individuals tweaking out on the benches. For the most part they are harmless and self-contained. Sometimes you get an aggressive one who yells at you or stares at you creepily. At night, its not uncommon to hear someone off their rocker screaming for hours. Also, there are often drug deals going down and obvious drug dealers parked on the edge of the park. I wish these people would get a life and get out of this nice park. Sad.

I live in the area. It would be nice if the patrons had respect for those around them, but they don’t. The same people are there daily and into the night. Since moving in I’ve seen one stabbing, several fist fights and countless screaming matches. Just now a kid lit something on fire and threw it towards another group, prompting this review. Avoid this park if you are able.

Its a pretty nice park, and I have never had an issue being there. However, it seems nearly every nice day, a party is being thrown at the fountain, boom box and all. Every now and then Ive seen police and paramedics there as sometimes there is yelling and activities that are not ideal. There also seems to be a bit of garbage left laying around.

The city has been doing a poor job about keeping the park clean of homeless people and junkies. Its very sad I cant walk my dogs in this park without being asked if I have drugs or money. They steal cardboard and dumpster dive at the apartment complex I live in and take the materials to the park and camp out.

Crawling with homeless crazies, junkies and thugs. I just moved to the area and live across from this park. Its only been one week and so far I have witnessed three fights in broad daylight. One involved 6 men brutally beating up on one man, ending in police and paramedics coming to the scene. I have also seen a lot of street harassment and shady activity going on and have to listen to their obnoxious yelling all day. Sometimes these crazy individuals wander up to the street that I live on and harass people there. Im so disappointed that I have to live next to this. The rest of the neighborhood seems really nice, but this park does not make me feel safe here. I would never go anywhere near this park because of what I have seen.
