If you have any need at all to get something from an art store, go here. This place is perfect. I used to walk around Blick like a kid at a candy store, but this place became my new confectionery. Last time I was there, I purchased a fountain pen from their great selection and had a wonderful person help me with the purchase. Seriously, go here, find something that looks interesting, and start a new hobby. I think right now they are only offering curbside pickup, but I would still buy any art supplies I needed here.

I love going there. They have so much, everything that I need; everything that I want and then some. Its a great place just to go shop never know what youll find. The staff is superb and knows where everything is if they cant or dont have it theyll have some ideas to help you with what youre doing.

What more could you possibly need in an art supply store? Their collection of Leuchtturm1917 is the best in the area which I cant get enough of (literally, I have too many). Staff is awesome and offered to wrap a poster for me when they noticed how I was clumsily carrying it around. Definitely my go-to stop for acrylics and brushes as well as their extensive collection of Posca pens. Anyone into art or crafting will be enamored by this place.

I absolutely love this store! My husband and I have moved to Denver recently and I was so happy to find this local art store. I spent more than one hour looking at different pencils, brushes, paints, easels and other items. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This place is just a paradise for artists. I found everything I needed and even more. I was inspired to try a new technique in my paintings.

This is got to be the most beautiful and exciting art supply store Ive ever seen. I thought guyries was pretty good but I had no idea. If art is your thing then you have to check this place out. I just want to live in there

Everything an artist needs is here. We needed extra large paper for a charcoal drawing and they not only had it but wrapped it perfectly so it stayed pristine. Awesome place.

This is the go-to art supply store in Denver. We needed a few art supplies for some projects, and -- as always -- they had what we needed. Note: they are limiting the number of people in the store at one time, so you might have to wait outside if you choose to go at a busy time. And or course, properly-worn masks covering mouth and nose are required at all times in the store and waiting outside to get in.

My favorite art supply store. Service and staff are knowledgeable and phenomenal. They have so many options. We love getting out chalk supplies here, but also great for photography supplies as well. I wouldnt go to any other art store.

I heart this place so much...I am always happy, intrigued, excited and inspired after browsing in here. it may be a bit expensive but honestly...wouldnt you rather spend your money at a locally owned art store than a large corporation??

One of the best art stores around by far. They have a very wide selection of not only items but they have the biggest selection as far as different types of crafts and art techniques go. They also have much more items for advanced crafting and art techniques etc. everyone is so helpful and friendly. A bit over priced though. Be prepared to spend quite a bit of money but it’s worth it.

Great place to find and get everything you need for most any art project.

Two levels packed with a great variety of art supplies, from professional to student grade, and even a cute gift area.Some parking on the south side, noteworthy in that part of town.This is a great place to find somewhat unusual and higher quality materials, try out individual pencils, pens, etc., and get good advice. Its so much better to see and touch colors, surfaces, and tools, and talk to people that understand them, rather than try to choose online.This store is a true rarity, complete with a bit of price discounting, and little things, like packaging your paper so itll get home safely, even to states like Oklahoma, where theres no cool art store like this.

I gotta say, out of all the art stores around Denver, this is by far my favorite. They are really helpful when u need them. They always have the right utencils that I need, and the employees are really helpful and friendly. They are my #1 art supply store in my book. Keep up the great and honest work guys.

Meiningers is great for specialty paper, (they have a wonderful supply of hand made lokta paper), sketch books, specialty pens, and good brushes. I am a book artist, and clay sculptor, so I mostly shop for my book art, but they do carry sculpting supplies as well.

This place is my go to place.I went in to pick up airbrush supplies. I needed to buy a special frisket ( sort of a masking) but couldnt tape it to my work. Someone came up to help me immediately and showed me where to look. matter of fact, he went to get it for me. That is a plus because i like to get it and go....Thanks guys!

This place is amazing! A little pricey but totally worth it. I had to buy sheets of paper and they wrap it for you so I wont get damaged. Staff here is great. Being from a small town I was blown away by this place, pens with tracking devices, $250 paint brush, you name it!

Awesome place. Its fun to just window shop once in a while. When one has the need to actually make a purchase, a friendly, knowledgeable staff is available, and makes one feel genuinely, valued. Prices can be somewhat daunting. But, one is paying for great service and quality supplies. They also have more economical options for anyone who experiences sticker shock.

I found all the specialty notebooks I was looking for and spent the rest of my time happily browsing through the store. They have a great selection of the best products. Prices were competitive. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Selection is great but the prices are outrageous. I will rarely spend here because they do not offer good value for your money. I understand you are a small family owned company but I just can’t justify spending so much on something I can get elsewhere for half the price.

I came in looking for sketching supplies on a Saturday. The staff were really helpful and there was a broad selection of supplies to choose from. Someone took the time to explain the different choices, and also pointed out some things that were on sale and a great value. I was in and out quickly and satisfied with my purchase and experience.

Large selection of quality high end art supplies. They have such a great selection of canvases. It might have just been the day but the employees seemed a little hard to find/engage with on the first floor. Second floor staff was super attentive.

They also let me just browse and offer help if Im actually looking for someone to help me (which I personally like being able to browse freely without being asked if I need help). This is my go-to art store. It has a bit more character, a bit more flair than other art stores. This is mostly due to the doodads and gewgaws, the gizmos and gimcracks, the knick-knacks and trinkets. The cool stuff! There are lots of fun items, in other words, for kids. Or for the kid in every one of us. To put it another way, there is everything you need for any kind of artwork you would like to make... and then some. Also, the stores wares (whether adult or otherwise) are displayed and arranged in a rather artistic style. Other art stores are more utilitarian and business-like, but Meiningers is fun and occasionally surprising. I have sometimes been shopping when theyve had demos at the store, and Ive noticed a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere to such events. The staff are nice and helpful.Addendum: I have now decided that Meiningers, while closer to my home, is pretty evenly matched by Guirys, their chief rival. Both stores are, well, fun and cool. Ill continue to look for evidence that will allow me to form a definitive preference!

If your looking to get creative with the highest quality art supplies then shop here and especially if you want to invest in yourself. the last piece i created using their paints and brushes turned out sublime. I mainly use golden brand paint, liquitex brand for their flow aid and glazes, and liquitex for their basics acrylic fluorescent neon colors.

I LOVED THIS STORE!!! A friend at the art studio I attend mentioned that they got a new marker from here and I didnt recognize the name of the place. They were flabbergasted and told me I NEEDED to check it out. Oh, I did, and I brought home some awesome things and have a wishlist for a future return trip too. This is one of my favorite stories of all time. They have everything that you need. They even have hard to find things. I was able to get to ft of 150 micron silk screen. This store is for real artists.

Best all around art supply Ive found on the front range! And its been there since I was a kid! I live in Elizabeth and travel to Meiningers because its faster than looking all day for what I need (or want)!

Very nice. I dont mind paying a little more for quality and SERVICE. The staff was awesome, you can tell its part of the culture there. Besides, where else are you going to walk in and get a Lamy mechanical pencil. They couldnt fix my ballpoint but gave me the card of someone who can. Its nice when you can leave a store smiling.

Every question Ive asked has always been answered right there without having to find another associates. Paper, acrylic, enamel, erasers, blending stomps, miniature painting, everything is high quality and decently priced. Forget big corporate craft stores: You wont find a better art store in Denver!

This may not be the largest art store in the world, but it is the largest in Colorado. On top of having incredible selection of... well, everything, they have great staff that are knowledgeable and super friendly. They helped me find a good present for my mom when all I knew is that she painted.

I could get and have gotten lost in this store for many hours having a great time...until i realize im broke and cant afford most of the overpriced merchandise sold here. Still really great store. Good choice of art supplies, we could find here many great things and sometimes its just fun to spend here an hour wondering around ))) However, some regular items such as sketchbooks are overpriced (in my opinion) and we prefer to buy them from chain stors when they offer sales and discounts. Other than that, its a very good, unique store.

Dude this place is da bomb!!! They have so much cool stuff. Any and everything art you could want. I would give it five stars but it’s a little expensive, even saying that they have stuff for everyone’s price range ya know what there getting 5. Staff was super helpful.

Went in expecting to buy a couple of pens... Left with way more than was anticipated and spent more money than I should have. Store is set up beautifully and the staff was helpful. Could not be happier, 10/10 would recommend.

Particularly incredible store if youre into fine pens. There arent a ton of places to buy high end pens locally, but the woman in charge of the pen counter here really knows her stuff and keeps stock of the best brands - shes also happy to special order things for you which is amazing.

By far the best selection of art supplies anywhere near the downtown area. Prices wont always be the best, but Meininger is more of a resource than just a store. The staff is friendly and will give you great advice or instruction or point you in the direction. And they have so much in stock! Support one of Denvers longest running businesses!
