Stopped here on our way to Big Bend. There is a small roped off swimming area with a floating dock. Water was low, but still plenty deep. Composting toilet was clean and gravel roads are easily accessible for 2WD vehicles.

Pretty but lots of goatheads on my pup, and heavy equipment on trail. Lake is gone.

Nice place to wander around for some time. Good viewing areas with nice trails and walk about. Restrooms as well as trash and fish cleaning station in the area. Decently maintained area with road access to most spots. Easy to navigate and permits are required to stay overnight. A must check out area when here. Lots to explore and see around these parts.

Very well maintained public boat ramp, fish cleaning station and rv dump site. There are numerous composting toliets in the camping areas around the lake but there is a real restroom with running water and flushing toliets (no showers) at the Diablo East boat ramp and hats off to whoever takes care of it, it is one of the cleanest public facilities ever.
