Went to Deeds dog park. Best dog park around which, unfortunately, is now being threatened by the Conner Group. They are building a PRIVATE school next door and want to take the MOST of our park for a track after telling us that the park was safe. Now they are talking about taking over two acres of our 3-1/2 acre dog park. Wed lose access to water and our shelter. The dogs wouldnt have much room to run. Just think, this PRIVATE school is so the yuppies or whatever they are called now can have a school where their children dont have to go to school with the kids that go to Dayton city school.
Very large park. Great views of River scape. We were there to visit the dog park. It is very large, has a water fountain for dogs. Wonderful volunteers there that pass out treats to our pups. I highly recommend it!!☆☆☆☆☆
This is a very nice park with a trail to walk or bike on, perfect spot for a quite date and kayaking in the river below. The fountains when they turn on are pretty cool too. Theres a dog park for your dogs to run around in in the back part of the park.
Love this place! I love the Qigong in the park on Wednesdays
Incredible to stand here and think about how much water there was in 1913
Everything was great! Friendly people, good secure property.
This park is a beautiful place to walk around and enjoy the river and fountains. Access to the bike paths is cut off currently due to the pedestrian bridge being down for construction
Its fun to be down there in water, but could be a bit risky and therefore I would advice that people with a weaker heart or jeart conditions should not venture it. The view from the banks is equally amazing.
Will maintained bike/ walking path and an awesome dog park to boot.
Great scenery and greenery. Family fun
Enjoyed our day out. The park was lovely. We will visit again.
Awesome place my fur babies. They can run and play.
Parking is hard to find, but other than that, its beautiful.
Nice place for quiet evenings!!
The point is beautiful the rest of the park needs a lot of work I go there for the dog park but it is somewhat an accessible to handicap
I highly recommend seeing the water display! It was very cool. We were visiting UD and saw it on google maps. We decided to check it out on our way home. Glad we took the few extra minutes. There is also a nice memorial to all the air and space flight heroes from Ohio, from the Wright Brothers to John Glenn and many more. We were there for about an hour. Well worth the time.
A great place to run
Best dog park in the area by far!
Super chill spot at sundown. Couples Swing to cuddle up with a boo and just be into each other. Best times 7 and after in the fall, after 930 during the summer, winter and spring 5 to 6 depending on how late in the winter or early in the spring.
Quiet place to walk or Pokemon
I love this place!
A beautiful place for walking, hiking, and fishing. I come here to play Pokemon Go and to skateboard by the river.. i love this place. Some of Daytons finest low lifes creep here sometimes, so be weary at night. Cool dog park too.
Great place for dogs.people are friendly & some hang out at arc dog park in spring & summer.
Not much activity goes on there. Good place to go park if you have time before work or on lunch break. Mainly used as a dog park and no access to the public facilities
Beautiful place to view the city and some local wildlife. Eagles and Heron regularly fish here. It has a very nice dog park area to exercise you dogs, and also a large section of the bike trail that extends more than 300 miles to local towns; making it one of the largest bike and walking trails in the United States.
Awesome one of our favorite dog parks!!!
Nice serene environment to just relax or walk around. Pretty quiet.
Beautiful scenery but you better watch out when the fountains go off
Great photo views of skyline. Neat Wright Brothers statues you can walk right up to.
Beautiful little park where the Mad river meets the Greater Miami river in Downtown Dayton. The pedestrian bridge over the river is still closed but you can still get to all the sections of the bike path, which there are many
Best view of the fountains!Very well maintained landscape. Love the view of the city from here.
Overall, it is a beautiful and well-maintained park. The dog park is enormous and has its own Facebook group so you can have meet-ups! The part by the river with the flowers is lovely. However, I wish the city would fund a clean-up of the baseball diamonds in the center. There is ALWAYS trash and broken glass around. Oftentimes it seems as though people leave abandoned cars there as well. Would not recommend going when it is dark.PSA: The pedestrian bridge that connects to riverscape is still not open so dont attempt to park across the river and walk over or vice versa.
Very cool fountain that goes off every hour!
A nice place to walk away from your norm
Awesome dog park
Very relaxing with a good view
Great places to pokeman.. alway clean,
Great bike path. Nice place.
Its a good spot for raid day pokemon go
Nice
Our family loved it being able to walk and fish and run and just have a good time
We love going to Deeds point! Great location never had any issues always clean.
I just love going to all the part theyre just so relaxing
There is an excellent dog park here. Many Daytonians bring their dogs here to exercise, play and visit with other dogs and their owners.
The dog park is such a great asset to the city of Dayton. My dog and I love coming here! Most of the dogs are well behaved, but in the rare instance that the dogs get too rowdy, the owners are ready to intervene and take charge. The doggie pool in the summer is a favorite, and the sense of community to keep the park clean and organized is wonderful.
Got a pretty good bj here
Down home cookin with cheap drinks to go with it. Open super early too!
The dog park is awesome. So much space to run and play. Our only complaint is that we have to drive so far to get there (we live in Kettering - which doesnt seem to have a nearby dog park).
Great spot for a picnic or pokemoning. The the water fountains go off between the rivers a quarter till the hour in spring and summer
We love going to Deeds point! Great location never had any issues always clean.
Interesting info about mans attempts to fly. Great view of downtown Dayton across the river.
Saw the Peace Pole overlooking the city skyline, and the statue of Orville and Wilbur.
So much to enjoy here.
Really fun dog park and super friendly folks there.
I rode my bicycle there and had a blast.. a rare February day spent checking out the bridges and paths.. I love that there are so many paths and such a diverse crowd drawn to this place..
The best dog park in or around Dayton. Plenty of trees for shade, a shelter just in case your dogs dont mind the rain, but you do, and usually lots of other dogs to play with. The regulars at the park do a fantastic job of maintaining it!
Great little dog park.
Awesome place! Great group of people and dogs. It was our first time to a dog park with our foster dog and the people and dogs were very welcoming! Thank you for a great day.-Willows foster parents
Muddy but Teddy got lots of exercise
Come during the summer....best place to chill..watch people...ans njoy life...
Great view and great for pokemon go
A nice place for a walk!
Love it
Nice place for outdoor activities.
The dog park is a Dayton hidden gem. All that is asked is to control your dog and clean up after it. They appreciate bringing grocery plastic bags for the city doesnt help provide for this and a water fountain is there to refill the bowl. The park is spacious, but is not divided into large and small dog. There are plenty of tables and a large shelter with bathrooms
I loved this place... I rode my bike and walked my dog for hours uninterrupted... I wish I could give more stars
Cool park for biking, running, and walking the dog. Get to learn a little about Dayton history their as well.
Had a great time at Dog ParkWill returnFresh water, plenty of room for pup to run and play
Very quiet as well as peaceful
I went there cause it was a pokie stop for pokemon go
Great fun. So many pokemoners! So many pokemon.
Great park for off leash play. The other dogs have been well mannered and owners have been accountable for their dogs behavior.
Great view of downtown Dayton and the riverfront fountains. Also nice access to the trail.
Like every interview I like to walk there a lot and play pokemon go
Love the scenery. I ride the bike trails a lot love them all but I always end up in Dayton.
Fantastic well maintained park!
A great park for downtown residents to take their dogs. Follow a few rules and the park is a joy! First, no aggressive dogs. Second, clean up after your dog! This is park must!!! Park has very friendly folks. Try to avoid weekends as it gets too crowded.
Theres a dog park here. Its not well marked. And kind of crappy. But the dogs dont care! Dog park is where the old wading pool used to be. Nice to have a place to take the dog off-leash so close to downtown.
Just rating the dog park, which is large and extremely well-maintained, and the water is always turned on at the building, so there is fresh water access even in the middle of winter. Excellent facility!
Nice park with seasonal flowers and trees located downtown along two rivers meeting.
Nice place to rest and enjoy the Fountains and the breeze while riding your bikes...
My husband and I just took the dog over there it is a wonderful place to be
Well maintained, well loved dog park. A real asset to the community.
Quiet area along the river with easy access to the baseball diamonds North of 75 and a short walk from Riverscape Metropark. Large, clean, and well maintained dog park. Construction on Webster St. Makes it a roundabout drive at the moment (4/16).
Gorgeous place!
Goo walking
Great place to play Pokémon go, normally the place I go for community day
This is another little gem here in Downtown. A very nice little park that has plenty of greenspace and beautiful views of the rivers and downtown skyline
Great spot to walk from to go to river scape. There is parking.
