The view is inspiring with open space and skyscrapers in a distance. The location is between two major bridges and there are bike paths and jogging track along Trinity River. Limited parking is available. Be watchful for the unexpected turn from the major road.

This was fun. Its a nice place to go and just chill on a Sunday afternoon. I was blessed to go on a day where the weather was perfect which to me attributed to the calm peaceful atmosphere.

This is a great place to both get those steps in because you either want to review and consider things that are weighing on your mind or to get those steps for the simple benefit of your health. Its doesnt seem overly crowded. Is at a perfect jumping off point for activities after leaving the park. And, gives more than one trail option. Plus its has different vantage points of the Dallas skyline.

Great view of the Dallas skyline. There are a few other places with great eyelines, but they aren’t as easy to get to or there’s no where to park. This is a designated spot where you can just chill. It’s got little platforms perfect for makeshift seats. The police also regularly patrol this area when it gets dark, so I’ve never come across any panhandlers or illegal mischief. Highly recommend!

Great place to relax and look at the skyline.

Coming from downtown theres a bit of road construction detour to get there but not too bad. Nice view of the skyline but may be more fun at dusk or dawn into the evening with city lights as theres NO real shade for picnicking or such... pics are from my visit today close to 5pm. Parking is on the street and is somewhat limited but there is a one hour limit so hopefully shouldnt be too bad at any given point.

It’s an okay park. Perfect for photographers if you’re willing to walk to certain spots

Nice place to get a good view of downtown Dallas.

So peaceful and calming. I enjoy coming here just to sit and think. My body began to vibrate vibrations.

I stopped off for a rest but also to take some photos from the early morning hours. Its a great place to view surrounding areas due to its proximity to the hill. You can see traffic from both directions as you cross the street if your care to get another view. (Carefully of course). But there is parking enough for a few vehicles which seemed to be plenty.

Quite a relaxing place to view the city from the overlook. Loved it. Our kids rode motorized rental scooters up and down the cemented pathways and under the bridge.

The parking area right outside is not actually accessible as of Sep./Oct. 2018. Its is blocked off by concrete barricades, making it nearly impossible to access without walking from a nearby neighborhood (which also dont have public parking available). The fact that its closed to public parking is not provided on any of the various websites claiming to provide information on the park.

Its cool that Dallas tried to give people a place to take in the downtown skyline and its cool that its open 24h/day but unfortunately the main power lines going to the city also run directly down the whole canal and obstruct any picture you take. If you go down into the canal past the power lines youre then too low to get a good picture. If you plan on getting one of those epic long exposure Cityscapes then you better be good at Photoshop. Also, all of the pics you see with the reflection of the city in what looks like a river, they were all taken during flooding. Normally the canal is a creek at best and its at the bottom. So unless its been flooding recently dont expect those epic reflections.

This is a wonderful place to view the Dallas skyline and Trinity River. Modern upgrades and development in the surrounding area, makes this an exciting place to watch. Great photo opportunities here. Parking is easy during the week, on weekends it can get very crowded so plan ahead. Highly recommended.

The park itself is very nice. Its clean, has a great view and is a great place to go for a quick run. The view is a little obstructed due to power lines, but still an impressive view of the city and the jail.

The park is a great place to view the river and go for a walk. Best times to go are during the wet season so the river path is full. Except when the river is at flood stage its nice. As for the view, its okay. Not the best view of downtown and at night its too far.

Great views of Dallas. Follow GPS for directions unless you know the area.

More work needs to be continued where I was. I didnt walk around a lot of it. I enjoyed what I saw

Navigation off due to road construction. can park within several yards of a nice interpretive display identifying the bridges, although its too low (hard to have a natural over look in Dallas) to see more than a couple well. reasonable view of downtown. no porta potty. The riverside access path was flooded

Went for the firework show on New Years Eve much more fun than I had expected and parking was much easier

Wen there to view new year eve fireworks. it was a good view of reunion tower from there..overall a good experience except electricity wire was restricting view
