Since I started traveling I love to see and ride over the bridges. Cool bridge. The other one has a toll to pay for you to ride over though. (Sigh)

This is the best bridge in Texas. Probably America. The long cables ring like an instrument with notes of class, elegance, and taste. All features you’re sure to find in the high class city in which it resides. It feels as though the bridge is beckoning outsiders to come in and experience the wonder of Dallas.

Lovely view. I walked the bridge at might, looked up and saw the wonders of the massive arches. I was directly below. It is a sight to see.

Smooth ride across the Margaret McDermott Bridge driving east on I-30 crossing the Trinity River! Sunny day and people looking at the Dallas Skyline - I am a Dallas Native and the skyline has exploded in my lifetime! The McDermott Bridge is a magnificent addition to our great city! As we drove across it - I could see the suspension wires in the structure and I thought that it was literally like “strumming the tune” of the city with the roar of the traffic echoing on the concrete! Would have given 3 stars but fell off the bridge and into a dream. Infrastructure man.

I love driving into Dallas and crossing this bridge. It is amazing.

The $115 million arches are purely decorative; they do nothing to support the traffic bridge, which is of conventional pier-and-beam construction. The arches are intended to support pedestrian and bike lanes, but they are defective, so the ped-bike lanes are not open for use.

Pretty bridge to drive across. However very difficult to get to if from out of town. however our four year old enjoyed the bridge

This bridge was poorly designed. Not allowing for 35 traffic 2 miles down the road. The 30 east ramp should start well before the bridge. Traffic should be blocked from merging at beginning of bridge as this causes more congestion for 35 and the off ramp

Beautiful bridge but inappropriately placed highway signage? So many drivers get confused and slow down or make stupid moves which backs up traffic and causes accidents? Some idiot did a horrible job with the signs. If you are heading East towards downtown Dallas there is no sign for a major highway connection- 75??? You see a tiny when you are on the ramp? There was probably billions spent on building this pretty bridge while the roads in downtown Dallas are badly messed up and infrastructure is falling apart this tax payers money could have been used to repair/ improve the roads in Dallas. It’s like your your toilet seat is broken but instead of replacing it you go and buy a nice art to put above it.. lol people in charge of making such decisions and their incompetence is frustrating!!
