This location would be perfect if there were a few more tails off the main trail; and a few more water fountains (as this location can be incredibly hot, with very little shade and shrubbery that nearly zeros out any chance of catching a breeze) that being said, there’s no better walking trail in Corpus. Complete with lots of wildlife and wonderful views. (I’ve only been walking the trail for 3 weeks and have seen 2 bobcats, coyotes, road runners, a rattling snake, a tortoise, and a few red wolves.)

Love looking at the fish. They have a sign on the building saying August 1 it should be open. Its a great place to walk the trails or stop off at the park. If you feel comfortable going out to the park, this is a great option. If you dont feel comfortable then stay home and dont take away others freedom to enjoy the outdoors parks with their kids.

Must visit for everyone living in or visiting Corpus Christi.Visited this bark on the 4th of July, 2020.The learning centre was closed but all trails were open. It’s a beautiful place and definitely much different from most other parks you’d visit. The views are amazing. It’s a delight for birdwatchers during all seasons. Really enjoyed the stilts nesting, painted bunting singing and purple martins.Park had a bunch of mosquitoes, which was annoying. The play area and walk only trails are somethings everyone can enjoy!

This park is absolutely amazing! Clean, really neat park for the kids, awesome hike trails, great indoor sensory activities for kids and REALLY COOL activities for the kiddos one they are 3! My son is 2.5 and we will definitely sign up for all of them when he makes the age cut! When we were there, there he just finished making boats w all recycled items like water bottles and popsicle sticks. I thought it was a really amazing program they offered! He had so much playing on their unique Park and slides and even made some new baby friends! They have some great paved hiking trails that we are going to start walking after he plays so mommy can get some exercise too! Big !

Beautiful scenery. Great, well-paved trails that are even smooth enough for a baby-stroller. Theres a big playground that looks fun for kids.Id like to see some improvements to the sense trails by the time our son is old enough to appreciate them. They are not well maintained lately. We visit here as often as we can for some fresh air and a nice retreat to nature.

This is PERFECT for families with Preschool and Elementary school kids! The nature center has a big bin of kinetic sand, turtles, snakes, salamanders, crabs, oysters, and fish. There are taxidermy animals, weekly exhibits, microscopes to see textures, binoculars, and ongoing science programs for kids. The bathrooms are clean and theres a changing table. The outdoor playground is not huge, but its fabulously designed. The waterscape is really well thought-out too. We walked the trails and followed the maps. Somehow the You are Here Star is missing from each map... Oops! We still made our way around, though. It was a pretty walk. Even in the dead of winter we found flowers, butterflies, and birds.
