Beautiful park! It is one of the best kept secrets in the San Diego area. The shoreline beach is a tranquil place for children, families, couples or small groups. This is a small park but the atmosphere is amazing. It is a great place for a walk or run. I enjoy running the park in the mornings and evenings.

I hate to talk about this place as it is usually empty and I like it that way. But saying that, it has a nice short trail that has been planted over with indigenous flora and some interpretive signage. Best time is early in the morning as you look across the bay and the sun rises over Mt. Chula Vista unobstructed. Plenty of bird watching and calm paddle boarding.

Great little park to the east of the silver strand and nicely located in the bay. There are coal pits on site and amenities down the street by the fire station. Overall this is definitely a little gem of a beach and the perfect location to spend an evening with your family. If you have an EV then you can charge your car at the calypso cafe parking aswell just a little cherry on top.

Beautiful park, beautiful views, short mature trail, no beach at high tide, no facilities, limited but free parking but never crowded.

Horrible place, stay away, never come here.. ever especially on holidays. Theres weird people like me kayaking all the time enjoying the seclusion. Keep away, please.

Hidden gem of a Bay beach and park, put-in for kayaks. Bathroom not close, though.

Small but nice park on bayside of the strand. Good spot for fishing, birding, launching a kayak, SUP, or float tube.

The park definitely incorporates the use of native plants, which is not just aesthetic but also environmentally-friendly. Especially with the ongoing drought in California. Good job, Coronado!
