An amazing spot! You get 2 waterfalls in one area, which was super cool. It is way off the beaten path, about 20 miles down a long road. Luckily my girlfriend and I reserved a spot a little over a mile away from the falls so it was convenient for us to make it there. The hikes are short (10 minutes or less) to each of the falls. We went during the week and had the place to ourselves. Weekends can get a bit busier. I would definitely come back here again!

A bit off the beaten path from Coos Bay but well worth going to.The drive is fun and the road is paved with a few potholes.Handful of trails, all easy, all short.Vault restrooms and picnic tables.Gorgeous falls.Recommended.

Always a great adventure. They keep this place maintained and you can tell. The new bridge definitely makes the trails more accessible to those who may not have been able to cross the creek before.

3 short hikes to Silver Falls which is not part of Silver Falls State Park, upper Kentucky Falls and lower Kentucky Falls. Even though its the middle of summer still they are still beautiful waterfalls. I cant imagine how much more fantastic it would look during high water flow!

We took the upper trail, which the sign says about 60 minutes... we mapped our hike and it was about a mile all the way up. Yes, you are climbing up a mountain. But you can see one of the falls about halfway up. The view from the top falls is beautiful. We took our dogs and they did well. Id suggest going on very dry days because the trail is very uneven. Also, Google maps wanted us to take a road on the east side of the river. But we followed the signs instead, which was a good choice because the bridge for the other road had a locked gate across it. A lot of the road is one lane with lots of pot holes, so drive carefully.

Beautiful natural area. Short uphill hike to Silver Falls but well worth the spectacular view. The trail to view Golden Falls is flatter and also worth the trek. Both hikes are not difficult.Try to pick a nice day in winter. There is more water flowing over both falls and therefore a more spectacular experience.A little more gravel on both trails would help. The drive is scenic but long.Be patient and watch for oncoming vehicles as the road narrows closer to the park.Pit toilets and picnic tables are there.

Silver falls was our favorite of the two falls. Follow the brown county signs for the Falls and stay left...do not follow Google maps directions when it tells you to go right onto Weyehouser lane or you will end up with a locked gate and have a long way to backtrack!

Both of these falls are amazing and being so close to each other totally worth visiting. Ill have to revisit during the spring when there is more water flow. I would recommend bringing some gloves, they were totally helpful. You can get right underneath the falls for some perfect shots. The road to the falls is gravel but totally made it in a car. The hike was pretty easy also for kids and family.

Absolutely beautiful area. Two short hikes and one longer to the top of Golden Falls. A little slice of heaven, so please dont drive like heck through it. There are many residents along the way and the road does narrow. Stay right after you see the faded sign where the road splits and please leave no trace.

Went on a Tuesday in January. It took about 50 minutes from Hwy. 101. Dont follow Google maps...follow the signs. The trail is beautiful and easy. Gets really muddy and slippery near the falls so, be careful. The drive up is kind of sketchy so take a buddy.

I loved the park and the actual falls, however Google maps tells you to take kuse rd and turn onto weyerhauser rd which is actually gated off aboit 5 or 6 miles before you reach your destination. Instead you should stay straight, but beware the road you have to take to get to this place is gravel and bumpy towards the end with tight twisting corners. Once you get to the park you can go left for silver falls, which is a very short walk or right for the 2 golden falls trails. The golden falls trails split after the little bridge; the right trail is the lower trail and the left is the upper trail. I only chose the lower trail for this quick visit and you cant get close to the falls very easy without climbing over very large boulders, but it looked as if the upper trail lead to a good, close viewpoint. Both falls are much smaller right now due to the dry spell and the time if year, but you can tell that they would be magnificent earlier in the year or after a wetter winter. This may make the rd a bit more dangerous to drive though. Overall it was still a beautiful hike and I thought it was worth the drive.

Absolutely gorgeous! Went December 2018 and was amazed by the beauty of it. Short trails (which can be nice) and beautiful scenery! I thought there were two falls in one but there are 2 separate falls which made it even more fun! However, the road getting out there is full of pot holes and when it is raining makes it even worse to drive on. Be prepared to get car sick if you get motion sickness. The bathrooms are also disgusting. There was feces spread across the toilet seat and just could have been better maintained in my opinion. There also could have been toilet paper that would be nice. The falls themselves are beautiful though,

Was beautiful, much more serine than anything at Yosemite I have seen since the California drought. The paths ate a bit rough and the road is riddled with potholes. The kine that are unavoidable and eat car rims for sport and fun. Worth the trek. There is a toilet there, just dont expect much in the amenities. The hike to one fall is about half a kilometer or about 1500 feet. The other requires you to trudge across a downed bridge and choose two paths, a high road and a low road. Wasnt brave to have the high ground. Either way you will have gorgeous vantage points wherever you go. Euphamisim for life is what this park provides.

Magnificent place and superb views of every place. Wonderful scenery of waterfalls. The waterfalls are from a much greater heights the area to reach to the top is bit steep and are used by visitors for hiking. The views from the top are as much amazing. The bottom surface is very much rocky. No restroom here in the vicinity of waterfall park. Few restaurants are available.

Super long potholed dirt road, not really a problem just letting others know in case theyre finicky. Silver falls hike is cake, we had elderly and toddlers all make it there easy. The falls is phenomenal! You can get right up in it if youre the adventurous type - you can feel the wind and spray and its just a great experience. The gold falls is similar, a slightly longer hike but very tame and the falls is very breathtaking and accessible.

Very nice place to hike but if you are looking for something strenuous or a longer distance then I would pass on this place. Cool spot for someone who lives close & wants to get away. Has a few picnic benches and limited BBQ pits with vault toilets that are usually dirty & smelly. Not a bad spot but theres so much better in Oregon. We are folks who have been to some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country and in Oregon state So Im being extra generous with the stars.

We enjoy returning to this rustic gem. The hike is short, stimulating, verdant, a beautiful rain forest treasure hunt. We wear sturdy shoes and protective clothing, slips are common. This Oregon State Park gem competes as the most scenic of the hundreds of Coastal Oregon waterfalls. Allow extra time for the narrow, scenic road.
