The path, while being only maybe half a mile, is well kept. The waterfalls were excellent and heading the water fall is a nice way to clear your mind and relax. Definitely worth checking out if you want to get away for a few to relax.I was disappointed by the trash along the path. It was minor, but showed how inconsiderate some people can be. Human nature, I suppose.

Beautiful trail and waterfall. A nice steam running alongside trail. Has a magical feel with moss covered stairs by stream and small waterfalls along the way leading to the big falls. Peaceful lake and picnic area with tables and grills.

This was a beautiful area. I had just enough time to cast out a few times and bring in the visual sights that the area has to offer. Let the kids roam and had no worries about safety. Very clean area with plenty to do if you have the time.

Beautiful short walk to a small but stunning waterfall. Its free, so a great activity on a budget. The trail is paved or gravel the whole way to the falls, and very well maintained.

Short cozy and a pleasant surprise so closer to the city. The trail is paved most of the way and very comfortable and easy suitable to all ages. The waterfall at the end is pretty and worth the trip.

Great place to take familyI actually caught a couple brim tackle bait for bigger fish for a very nice Japanese man who was NICEST PERSON EVER that had an extra pole great time always meet cool nice exciting people

Easy location to get to, short hike, and easy parking. However, the lake leaves a lot to be desired. The short hike to the waterfall is defintely worth it for a quick picture.

Didnt know this place existed until recently and I had a really great time! I took my dog swimming as well as along the trail to the waterfalls. Ill definitely be back as the shade really allows for a nice walk even in this summer heat.

I must have went at a very dry time for the area because there wasnt much to the waterfall, tho it had potential. The lake area and around it was dirty and the area didnt seem well taken care of tho the potential for a nice park was there. It was still a nice easy walk tho and did have a couple pretty areas.

Nice hidden gem of a park with a paved walking trail thru the woods. Nothing strenuous and ends at a charming little waterfall. We really like the signs to I.d. some tree varieties and also the sign on the old pump house with some history.

This is a great place to take a break from the highway and stretch your legs. A beautiful walk through the woods brings you to a group of small water falls. The kids loved it. There are picnic tables available, and there were a few people fishing.

Short, easy hike to a nice little waterfall. These falls are best seen after a good rain and are nice to wade in and play around in.There is an overlook deck and a place for a get together near the falls.

Geocaching brought me to this park. It was a nice visit. I enjoyed the waterfalls.

Waterfall and short hike to it is great! Perfect for toddlers too. My kids (6&9) loved it! Would be great to bring a picnic! The lake that you park by is pretty nasty looking though. I saw a couple of people fishing but they all said they catch and release. No way they would eat something that came out of there.

I have been to City Lake many times and I have always loved it. It was a beautiful day for a lovely walk.

Such a beautiful area with a beautiful waterfalls. I hope the city of Cookeville does not drain the lake. Natural habitat that is home to many creatures. Great lake for fishing and kayaking. Our grandchildren really enjoy going there.

Just a nice little walking area. Not crowded at all. Absolutely perfect if you don’t want to be around a lot of people. Definitely the only place I’ll be going for a walk for now on

Nice little hiking trail that ends up at a mini waterfall. Fishing is available here. Handicap parking Is available. Picnic seating and bench seating is available. We love bringing our toddler here you just have to make sure they dont run off. Unstable footing if you lead off the trail

Not as big as expected, graffiti on building, it was nice trail with a very short walk.

Its a short walk but the falls is beautiful. There wasnt hardly anyone around when I visited. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Had to get out of the house for a little while and chose here. Dont regret my decision. I took my 2 Yorkies with me and I didnt have any complaints about them being there.

I suppose one would say its a cute little park.It has a small boat dock and a spot to feed the ducks (please dont use bread). The best part is a short hiking trail thats easy to walk,up to a small waterfall.Very picturesque spot,but to tell the truth I didnt think to pull my phone! LoL

Found this little spot traveling across Tennessee and found it very peaceful. We had our little one with us and she loved it. So much wildlife and good areas to picnic.

I had no idea this existed. The lake is a little gross but the mini falls are a beautiful, easy walk.

Very nice view, creepy walk to the waterfall, not recommended to visit alone if you freak out easily.The walk isnt long, paved trail except for the last few feet that are grabble.

We took our kids there and walked the trail and they were so tired when we got home I fed them and gave them a bath and they were both out like a light.

They need to dredge the lake. It is such a pretty area just needs so TLC.
