Very nice, local to NoCo, place to hike. One of NHs hidden gems. Multiple ways to enjoy these trails too... Digging, hiking, waterfall bagging! Not too far from Thompson Falls though the switchbacks en route were a bit arduous. I strongly suggest doing your research before trying to find Thompson Falls. It can be difficult and confusing with all the trails there. I cant wait to back and see it in the different seasons!

This place was amazing! We found so many crystals! Definitely recommend! If it’s your first time, I continued straight until I made it there and it will be clearly marked for when you get there, but a little confusing on the way.

Easy trail, great for kids. However you may want to leave them behind if you are serious about finding some nice, fully intact gemstones. It requires putting your time in and having patience.

Cool place to look for rocks.Dont go super early though its kind of creepy when youre the only one out there

Nice walk, about 2 miles round trip. Relatively easy trail although there are a couple of spots that you will need to slow down on to get through safely. Could be a need to cross over water at certain times of the year. The mineral site itself wasnt that impressive on its own. In warmer weather it could be more entertaining especially if you take a hammer and chisel as well as a bucket of backpack to carry out any interesting finds you may come across.

Great hike to the mineral site almost 4 miles round trip. After almost 2 hours of digging and finding smokey quartz kids didnt want to leave.

Great time. Take your hammer, chisel and eye gear. And a backpack to carry out your treasures! Great Smokey quartz. Hike in to site about 2.5 miles.

We didnt find the waterfall & trail not well marked

I enjoyed it very much. The trails were excellent and everyone is friendly and nice.

Good hike but the bugs where amazingly horrible worst I have ever dealt with def bring bug spray and is a bit of a challenge wearing flip flops
