Beautiful place to walk or sit and enjoy the Waccamaw River. Short walk around to discover downtown. One of my favorite places that I dont get to often enough

Beautiful Saturday afternoon to stroll along the Riverwalk in Conway enjoying the fall coloring, the tranquil flow of the Waccamaw River and the peaceful nature of the park. The mile and half paved trail wanders along the maintained grounds with plenty of open space, bench and swing seating, picnic areas, playground, marina, wooded area and a boardwalk along the River. Parking, public bathrooms and even a restaurant is on site. Take a moment, sit in a rocking chair in the gazebo overlooking the River, breath in the clean air and clear one’s head from the world around you. A moment of peace awaits you.

Lovely place,clean, relaxing, friendly faces and plenty of room for social! Big grinnice place to just park and let the birds singing and smell the fresh air watch the boats gently go by. Great places around the to eat & shop.

Beautiful and well maintained. There are so many different (and socially distanced) seating areas. Porch swings, benches, even bistro tables. Wish I bought some breakfast. Great for dog walking, please pick up after yourself. Conway, all in all, seems lovely but didnt explore as I had my dog with me and most research states they are not accommodated at outside dining and shopping.

Easy parking and short distance to the Riverwalk. It goes over 1 mile near the water. Beautiful views and pleasant easy walk. Much to see and very safe.

It is a small but well maintained park with a nice playground for children. It has picnic tables with cover across from the playground as well as benches and swings along the water. Beautiful Crape Myrtles and plenty of shade trees line the path. The only thing that surprises me is, as a bird lover, there are VERY few in the area! I understand the park has nothing to do with the bird population but it is sad nonetheless.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to go!! My boyfriend and I take our dog there for walks almost nightly!! I love living in Conway!!

A beautiful downtown and walk area. Highly recommend it. Stop by and support the small local shops and restaurants as even a small buy is a big thing to this community. Also enjoy the murals through out the town.

Absolutely stunning! Beautiful walking path along the Waccamaw river. The setting is so serene with the water and all trees. You can even beer off the path and head into town for a bite to eat or some shopping. The quintessential southern small town bursting with charm.

Nice handicap accessible walk along the river. Lights were on the rails and on for Christmas. Really pretty area for a short stroll.

There is just so much to do in this little town that looks kind of like Mayberry. Walk around the downtown. Drive around the area and see the moss covered trees. There are often fairs and events in front of the courthouse. There are several restaurants and shops to visit.

Stopped at the Riverwalk for the Saturday Farmers market. About a dozen or so vendors. Half of them with fresh vegetables. And bought from three different ones and enjoyed everything that we got. Squash, tomatoes, eggplant. Nice to support local farmers and a really nice setting.

Great place for wedding and engagement photography. They recently remodeled the docks and boardwalk, as well as painted the Old Conway Bridge. Its a beautiful location now.

Lovely Riverwalk! Broadwalk next to the river was beautifully constructed, clean and smooth for a stroller which was very nice! Beautiful riverwalk, Conway should be proud of this little gem!

This is Conways gem. Besides the beauty on Saturday they have a farmers market under the bridge. Its a shame Conway doesnt provide a pavilion for these vendors and their citizens who support them. A few years ago in a open brick building it was a happening scene. Music, wine tasting, multiple vendors with crafts, cooking, fruits, vegetables and a lively and friendly atmosphere every Saturday morning. Then they threw the vendors into a field of high grass, no shelter from the elements and bugs. Half of the vendors never came back and it is a sad remnant of its former self. Conway needs to embrace, support and grow this opportunity to bring people downtown to shop and eat. Winter Garden Florida is a similar town whos Saturday morning farmers market is now a destination. They built a great open pavilion to a house the farmers market. They have dozens of vendors and hundreds of attendees. Food booths, crafts, music, a splash pad for kids to play in and its amazing. Conway Recreation please make this the wonderful happening scene it was becoming a couple years ago. Give this the facilities and space downtown it deserves. Use this to enhance the traffic to downtown Conway and bring residents together. People will wonder the retail shops and eat breakfast and lunch at the restaurants. It will be amazing for everyone.

Downtown. Town very historic, picturesque. Plenty of parking, a restaurant there on the walk and one down by Marina on other side of bridge.

Nice riverfront walk, not long but scenic and serene. Stopped by the local farmers market on the way out for a special bonus!

Got to take our Great Danes there for a walk and see boats tie up. Very busy place.

The River walk is beautiful, however, sections of the boardwalk are not joined. A person has to leave the boardwalk, walk thru land and return to boardwalk.

We enjoyed ourselves despite the bridge work that requires visitors to drive from one end to the other to see the whole bridge walk. It is a beautiful area.

Its a beautiful boardwalk on the river. Its a bit flooded right now, but still plenty of room for a good walk.

My favorite place to go in downtown Historic Conway. Can’t wait til they get it fixed up again, it’s so beautiful and relaxing there!! And it’s a safe lace for having alone time and having children with you.

Serene walk along the river in a boardwalk. Scenic and relaxing. We also took a boat tour of the river which was definitely worth it if you love nature and the river.

Good exercise to walk along the waccamaw river. After the hurricanes they have an all new walkway. They have maps along the way as well as plaques about some historical events that happened along the river.

The Riverwalk is always a good way to spend some time. You can relax in a rocker, or on a swing and watch the water go by or you can walk, jog, or bike. There are painted rocks to find and squirrels antics to laugh at and neighbors to greet. A small part is hard to access right now due to bridge repair but dont let that stop you from enjoying one of Conways best spots for recreation and relaxation!

One of my favorite places to photograph. Peaceful setting and friendly encounters with people that frequent the scene as well.

Chicken was raw and the macaroni and cheese looked like vomit. The waitress was nice but carried the drinks around the lip of the glass were you sip from with dirty hands. I dont blame her I blame the manager.
