I had quite a time at this place at my birthday party. I had a good time experiencing old arcade games there. Nothing much, just saying that I had a good time there with my fam.

This is the best arcade bar in Columbus ohio. I enjoy the other ones but this one is just different in the best of ways. Also they have such an amazing variety or games! Plus the drink are so delicious and affordable you cant go wrong stopping in!

This is nirvana to anyone who enjoys gaming and arcade life. They have a bar too which is a huge plus. The drinks are game themed and taste like punch your way to heaven. They even have a place called forties chicken and waffles where you can get all 3 for a measly 10 bucks. This is a quality experience and my favorite bar in the world now. I will be back frequently and suggest joining me or checking this place out. Its a must!

This was a wonderful space for a friend reunion and kid friendly too, except for the bathrooms and music selection. The customer service was exceptional. The menu was unique & every bite was enjoyed!

You simply cant beat free arcade games! My wife and I got drinks from the bar in the first room and food from the kitchen in the 2nd room, then proceeded to battle each other for the next few hours. Everything was amazing!

I went here for the first time today and I had so much fun! The staff was friendly and always had a smile on their faces. I ate the fries with macaroni and that was delightful! I also drank a couple (I dont remember how many?) alcoholic beverages which tasted like heaven (I can only drink fruity drinks). The arcade games were fun and I spent about 2 hours playing games here. I sadly lost my sunglasses somewhere in here (My poor sunglasses...) but overall my experience was so awesome. I am planning on coming back again later!

I always love going here. One of my favorite bars in the city. If you need a drink recommendation a good starter is the TMNT, the Spyro, or the Smash Bros

Super awesome spot for games and people! Most of the games were in service, very important. The drinks are pricey in my opinion, so not great for a college budget. I like that there is food you can buy, delicious! The food guys were awesome and friendly while the bartenders were quick and to the point. I would absolutely go back.

This was a fun place to hang out with some friends! Good selection of games, food, and drinks.FAIR WARNING: DO NOT PARK NEAR THE APARTMENTS BEHIND THE ARCADE. There is great chance you will get towed like I did. The apartment signage is HORRIBLE and is very unclear about which spots are theirs (my spot was actually closer to back entrance of the arcade than the apartment). Best way I can describe is that there is a dip in the road behind the arcade, the arcade side of that dip is safe, the apartment side is not. We were in the place no more than 10-15 minutes where we heard about the tow trucks gathering around. By the time my friend and I went out to check, my car was already hooked up and rolling away. Clearly the apartment has spotters and the tow trucks were close by waiting. Honestly it may be worth it to just gather at a friends house and Uber as legal parking is very limited. (I know the arcade doesnt have much control over this, but I thought people should know this ahead of time.)

Great Drink Selection! The games are well loved to say the least. Some dont work correctly and some require $1 to play. I was under the impression that all games were free if you were a paying customer at the bar. Pinball, Dance Dance Revolution, Foosball and Air Hockey are all pay to play...there may be more.It tends to be very crowded and LOUD.Keep the hand sanitizer handy!Bar staff very friendly and helpful despite being extremely busy. Overall fun and inexpensive time.

I live 45 mins to an hour away and this is my favorite bar to go to. The bartenders are amazing. The drinks are perfect and the atmosphere is tremendous!

Place rules. Happy hour before 7....half off beers. Family friendly before 8. Great place to take your kids for cheap. My nephews tried to suggest going to Chuck E. Cheese. Are u kidding me kid....Old North has free games which are way better and tasty beers. Get out of here kid....grow up and get some life experience. Anywho....5 stars!

Highly recommended!! Went here for a day of fun with my husband. When we arrived parking was a little tricky, but there is some in the back, or right on the street out front (with limit to how long you can stay). There are 50+ arcade and console games, all free if you are buying drinks/food. The food selection is a little strange but fun, all waffle based (waffle cone filled with mac and cheese, slaw and chicken served with waffle fries) but delicious!! Went to the bar after eating lunch and ordered a beer from tap, I didnt know what to order but bartender was more than willing to help narrow it down and offered a sample to try before buying a glass. My son saw pictures from my visit and wants to go for his birthday - which we most likely will. (Kids are allowed before a certain time - see website for details). Cannot wait to re-visit!

Sticky in spots due to drinks being spilled. The chicken tenders and waffles are very good and worthwhile. Definitely worth the trip for a free birthday shot for the birthday person and all in their party.

I love this place. So much fun, the only problem is that it gets way too hot inside. But dont let that keep you away, you can always go outside to cool down. Lots of fun

I like this place. Theyve got a good atmosphere and plenty of games. They even have console stuff which you dont always see and I always appreciate.I also like the location. Theyre on a bus line and near a plasma center. I will frequently sell plasma and then stop there to spend some of my earnings.Highly recommended!

Old North Arcade is my favorite bar to visit in Columbus. There are tons of arcade games, consoles, etc to enjoy. They did a really good job in collecting a variety of games. The drinks are also very fun and delicious! They have a wonderful outdoor space for Cornhole and large Jenga. Recently, there was a small snack stand installed which provide great food choices throughout the night. Big plus, there is a Mikeys Late Night Slice store front across the street!

Had a lot of fun here with my 7 yr old on game day. We were at the game and left after halftime show as he was ready to get out of the stadium at that point. Walked up to the arcade to await our ride and the bartenders were super cool with us just getting a couple sodas and playing games for about an hour. Fortys chicken & waffles was the real deal too. Nice light hot sauce flavor in the batter. Awesome place to hang out and play some nostalgic games. I was elated to see NBA Jam and NFL Blitz! Tons of other great games to choose from. Definitely wish this had been there back when I was a student!

A very fun place! It has a huge variety of cocktails and some very good bar food options. I bought the hagrids butterbeer cocktail and really enjoyed it!They have a a very good space with loads of games right from arcade games to PS4 and Xbox games!

Lots a fun and you can take the family too at a early time of the day. The food was delicious and the ice cream top it off. The staff were friendly people. I will definitely be back.

The games were all free (except for DDR). The drinks were reasonable priced and good. The chicken tenders and fries were delicious too.My only complaint is that the place was pretty warm, even with the air conditioning running throughout. For context, we went on a day that was almost 100 °F outside.

Came here with some friends after rain cancelled our other plans. Some of the best mixed drinks with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and loads of classic arcade games. They also had gaming consoles set up as well. Impressive assortment!

This is my favorite bar to visit in Columbus. The staff is always friendly and they have a great selection of beer on draft. Im also a huge fan of their bloody marys. The arcade games and video games are a great addition to a bar setting, and most of them you can play for free as long as youre drinking. The patio is big, and theres ample seating at picnic tables outside. Overall, the atmosphere is great, and I will continue to frequent at Old North.

Awesome beer selection. Fun, pop culture/movie/video game themed mixed drinks. 3 game rooms. Kitchen in the back. Free water on multiple tables and a nice little courtyard with a projection screen and Jenga at night. Highly recommend.

Great games great drinks, their big secret is that you can buy 40s in the back where they sell food which is great also. But go get u a bud bud light or Natty light 40 and have some fun playing games.

Went for a wedding reception. Has everything from Galaga to Donkey Kong to Mario Kart. Great atmosphere and great music. I didnt have any food/drinks while there, so I cant vouch for them there, but just reading the menu it all looked great. Themed drinks.

This bar is the perfect combination for nerdy, drinking age adults. My fiance loves this bar because he like to drink and do something, not just sit around and talk to people or watch sports. The drinks are tasty and happy hour specials are right. You cant go wrong with three rooms of arcade games that you can play (for free at that) and drink with friends (or make new ones).

I like to hang out here and have a beer (they have a great list), but it has to be one of the loudest places in the city. It feels like theres no acoustics at all.

Great place with classic games. DDR SSBM and Mario Party. If you are a gamer nerd like me, you will immediately feel at home. Doesnt get much better than that, but then the alcohol is great too. Cool people, cool spot to chill. Hound Dogs will deliver to you also.

Great place to play some games. Unlike other places in town, this one takes better care of their machines, some times the break down but they fix them. That is good. Also make sure you check the place in the back Fourties. Their food is delicious.

Service is always fast. Bartenders are usually happy to talk about the games if theyre not too busy. Drinks are sometimes on the strong side which is a plus. Drinks are very expensive (but strong), but games are mostly free with some exceptions. Its a fun place to go with friends, but very crowded. I usually dont stay more than an hour.

Place looks amazing I loved the video game art on the menu. Bartenders were friendly and great to talk to. Beers were great, cocktails looked awesome. One had a cookie, one had gushers as a garnish. They have multiple rooms with a variety of cabs, as well as one skee ball machine. The rooms furthest from the bar were hot though.

One of my favorite bars in town. They are one or a kind, but still they won’t charge you for the games or the arcades you play with when you get a drink ( No, it doesn’t mean their drinks is expensive, they are actually very well priced) I recommend the Super Smash Bros cocktails.

This place reminds me of the 16-bit downtown. They have a few one ups with the xbox and playstation, but the one time I went here the controllers didnt work. Its a cool place though, some pretty original drink names too. Theyre pretty damn tasty too, I must say

We really really enjoy coming here on Sunday for some drinks, chicken and to play some awesome games! The only issue, which isnt a big deal but sometimes there are A LOT of kids and some are down right rude and just ignored by there parents. Bartenders are always friendly and the food is fantastic at Fortys. Thanks for being a cool joint!

Free arcade video games!! Wouldve given 5 stars but the foosball table needs some work!! It costs 50-75¢ (cant remember which). It will wreck your hands! No spin on the players at all. Only 2 pinball machines also. Wouldnt mind if they had more machines; requires 50¢ per player, but thats not a big deal since so many games are free. They do have giant Jenga outside & once they were playing a movie on the wall! Really a great place. I just really like foosball & pinball!

Such a fun time! All games are free if you buy something to drink, doesnt have to be alcohol! Family friendly fun Sundays noon to 8pm, too. Simply the best...especially if you are on a budget! They also have Fortys chicken and waffles in the far back of the 2nd room. Just go. You will thank yourself afterward.

The best is during the day it’s a place we enjoy to play arcade games, air hockey and can bring our son during the family friendly hours ! Plus the food there is yummy(forty’s) and good food all around it (mikeys and ray rays) highly recommend also yoshis island is the best drink

We came in from out of town to meet up with some friends after a Blue Jackets game at Nationwide Arena. This place was really nice. There were tons of current and previous gen consoles available for free play. As well as a slew of arcade games spanning from Ms. Pac Man to NBA Jam to everything in between. Drinks were sorta expensive, but most all the games we encounter were free so I feel that thats a fine trade off. The outside patio area with a giant Jenga set was a nice surprise. All the staff we encountered was very nice. Very cool place. Would return. The only thing I wish I would have known before my first visit was that most of the games are free play. After an hour of inserting quarters our friends arrived and informed us of this. Not a big deal, as it was only a few dollars, but would have been nice to know.

This is such a good spot for some video games. Im not a gamer so I just come here to hangout casually with friends, have some drinks, and friendly competition, and maybe even a slice of Mikeys Late Night Slice pizza from across the street.

The drinks are all unique, you dont go here to get plain and ordinary (youre missing out if you do, seriously their drinks are amazing). Ive had all the mixed drinks at least once, Save the Princess and TMNT are my two favorites. There is also a food place in the bar so you dont have to leave when hungry from playing all the free arcade/old school games.

A little grungy, prices could be a bit more reasonable but its not a bad place to spend a time with a few good friends.

Chill atmosphere, friendly staff. Gets hot in there but they do their best to keep air moving. Love that they still have a ddr unit even if the coding is a bit wonky.

Love this place. Its a great location and has a really nice outdoor area where they project movies and TV. There is also giant Jenga outside. Watch out for some of their novelty shots though because they can taste like liquid candy. That can be a good or a bad thing depending on your tastes!

RECOMMEND!! This is one of my new favorite places for a night out! Took a few friends from out of town here and they had a blast!! Beer selection is surprisingly good and they make creative and delicious alcoholic drinks that go with the video game vibe. The only downfall I experienced was that it was a little crowded and you had to wait for some games to becomeavailable. BUT, that is to be expected.

Such a fun twist to a night out. So many old school video games for free play! Really good drinks, there is one that LITERALLY tastes like a pink starburst, and great bartenders. Its gets busy but there are always open games to play. My only issue is parking! BE AWARE OF WHERE YOU PARK!!!! The bar doesnt advise of where to not park on their door. We saw half a dozen cars get towed in 5-10 minutes. That will cost you $110!

This is hands down the coolest bar I have ever been to. Everything here is awesome. All the drinks and all the beers are so good, I try a different one everytime and always happy. All the games and different stuff to do make it a really fun place to visit every weekend

I actually liked this place better than 16 Bit. They had throw back game systems, giant jenga and twister on the patio, and many arcade style games. We played old school Super Mario on NES for a while before getting into Simpsons, Bad Dudes, Donkey Kong, and some other classics. The drinks were also great and I like the kind of dark grungy feel.

It was really fun and the atmosphere was amazing. Although it was a bit crowded still nice.

The clearly drunk owner approached my friend, put his hands on him, and asked him if he was 21. He didnt even tell us who he was. He kicked us out aggressively even though my friend had a valid I.D. Good place to go if the manager isnt drunk and on a power trip, which judging by other reviews is often.

I love arcade games and video games-- from tmnt to Halo 2 on the Xbox, theres quite a selection. The drinks are fun, its a great atmosphere for spending time with people, and theres an outdoor section for taking a break or smoking. Ive always had a good time here!

The best barcade Ive found from either coast and throughout the Midwest. An extremely large selection of arcade games and always an alternative and eclectic crowd. While the yuppies are downtown at 18 bit spending too much for basic drinks, everyone in the know is at Old North having a great time.

So much fun a very cool place to hang out.Wish they had more pinball machines though. The food was good that makes it better than Pins mechanical company.My custom requested drink was spot on and served in a tall glass.So I gave my bartender a BIG TIP. Their bartenders actually listen too. The drink selection at Pins isnt very palatable.As far as Im concerned. This place was great. However the Tron safe room floor was incredibly sticky. .

Old North is the best barcade weve ever been to! Reasonable prices , delicious drinks, and awesome arcade machines! We make the pilgrimage from Michigan whenever we can to hang out at this super chill place when we can.
