Beautiful Christmas light display. Some much needed cheer in a dark year!

The holiday lights this year are so amazing!! Go check them out while they last. They turned part of the lights off right around 10pm, probably due to the curfew. I have always enjoyed this place - just a nice and quiet downtown area perfect for walks and people walk their puppies there a lot. You can see a lot of things going on there while still being able to keep a safe distance from others.

Lovely place to walk around and personally this place can be just as nice as the scioto mile during times like the winter season when all the lights are up

Downtown the Columbus is very clean with secure parking, beautiful Christmas decorations to enjoy as a family. Nice experience

What a great park in the middle of downtown Columbus. Lots of green space to enjoy a nice picnic or take a walk. There is a lot to do on the summer as well as enjoy the Christmas lights in the winter. Parking can be found throughout downtown.

I visited with my Glambaby around Christmas. This was put together nice. A beautiful scenery of Christmas lights. The Merry go round was closed because we arrived late. We enjoyed it even though it was really️️️

Nice park in the middle of downtown Columbus. Also since it was a Thursday there were several food trucks through out the grounds. Not crowded.

Beautiful Christmas decorations

Probably the nicest park in the city. It has a carousel, a snack shack, a sprawling lawn, and plenty of benches. Theres also a stage for events.

Very nice area with its bicentennial pavilion. Loads of grassy area to sit on, but a giant portion farther from the pavilion is off limits at the moment.There is a weird light game people can play. Didn’t try it myself...At the opposite side of the pavilion is Jeni’s ice cream and another food place (don’t remember what it’s called but it serves savory foods).Very nice and maintained. Benches sparingly around. There is a cute kids tables and chairs area near the food places. Just wish there was more shade! The tall buildings surrounding it only does so much at certain times.

Christmas lights were wonderful, easy public parking available right in front of the place. Visited during Christmas Eve, so if you are here at that point in time coming prepared with sufficient winter clothing will help you stay longer with lights. Also use a good camera for shooting in the dark.

Really nice green space in the heart of downtown. There are seasonal events all year round that make it a lot of fun. Currently there are Christmas lights up everywhere and its done really well for a smaller sort of park.

Went and watched Mary Poppins with my kids and Grandaughter neice and nephew !!They didnt get to see much of the movie... But I still loved it ..so did they! It was a good family night

CAPA had an open house, self-guided walking tour of three downtown Columbus historic theatres. These places have been magnificently renovated.

We came down to walk around during Christmas and the light display was beautiful! Its a pretty park and the lights are really well integrated. Its not a big area, but the display is well done and its worth a trip to see.If youre in the area around Christmas, I recommend stopping by!

Great centralized park, with a nice holiday light display for a relaxing stroll. Portable toilets are available and there is plenty of areas to just sit and relax. The central field does get muddy at times, so be aware when you choose footwear

Took advantage of a couple events out here. Boyz two Men concert and the Food Truck lunch on Thursdays during the summer. Beautiful space and really unique building structures surrounding, makes it feel like a concert hall.

Visited this place during Christmas lights decorations and it was amazing. Wasn’t that crowded so had some ‘me’ time and relaxed.

They have awesome stuff happening down there! Its Christmas time right now and my children really enjoyed the lights, free hot chocolate, free train ride, and free carousel ride. They also had face painting, ballons, and Santa. During the summer they also have free concerts and events as well. Id highly recommend this place.

This place is amazingly beautiful, it is safe to ventured day and night. Security is visible at all times, decorations are beautiful and it always clean. The area is small but it worth visiting. It would be awesome if they let volunteered sing or put free music at night.

Columbus Commons has a great family invirnment and in the warm months they throw great parties in the courtyard. Included a picture of the High St entrance

The lights were nice but they carousel hours said until 8pm but we were there at 6 not open.

It is beautiful this time of year..its a must see. Go see the lights and kids can ride the carousel and run in the field. There were also amazing carolers to get you in the Christmas spirit. A nice space.

Nice area to walk. If you play PokémonGO, theres a stop with great spawns here.

Very calming atmosphere, spacey.

Weve seen a few shows here and the venue is spot on. Not a bad view in the theater (in our opinion). The theater is always a nice environment-never too hot or stuffy. Sound is excellent from anywhere you sit. We love it here!

Had an amazing time at the Cap City Half Marathon! They flipped the course, but it was cool to run through new places and finish in the Commons for the Xtra Mile after party. Local is beautiful and works for so many events.

This is a nice downtown greenspace. The food truck gatherings are great and so are the musical/summer events. Only unfortunate thing is people dont always pick up after there dogs, but thats not the Parks fault. Watch your step!

My favorite place to take the kids in the summer. Plenty of free events that the whole family will love.

An absolute must visit at Christmastime. Especially if you have kids. Its free and beautiful. Were from out of town and stumbled upon it by accident. Pleasant discovery.

Fun place to visit with kid, has carousel, food stalls. Yesterday hot chocolate and carousel ride was free for all. Lightning was really nice and brilliantly designed. We loved this place. For parking there are place within 200ft, I parked my car at abm parking and they had $7 flat rate. Make sure you pay in advance and keep reciept in car dashboard.

Extremely clean and safe. Easily accessible and cute.

Large spacious parking garage. Rates are reasonable. No problem finding a place park during busy day. Would use it again.

Beautiful public space. We really enjoyed the free concert night featuring St. Paul and the Broken Bones. Nice variety of food trucks to choose from.Family friendly. People are able to bring blankets and chairs.

Very beautiful park. Walked around one night after visiting Dirty Franks. I felt completely safe while walking around even though it was dark outside. There were bicycle safety patrols in the area as well as many people walking around. I have never been to any of the events here, but wouldnt hesitate to visit again!

Such a pretty area! The lawn is definitely that good barefoot grass. Food truck days are fun despite food trucks being more expensive than actual restaurants now for some reason. Wish there was more shaded seating/standing area, especially given the size of crowds that are drawn here.

This is where City Center mall used to stand. While I have wonderful memories of shopping at City Center mall with my mom and aunt, I am pleased that the space was repurposed with an elegant park for all to use. And the food trucks in summer are nice.I hope the city chooses pesticide free care for the space in order to make it accessible for all beings.

Perfect for Ohio Theater access, park near Ohio Theater Elevator signs, get out on ☆1, 25 ft to the revolving door, then outside to the side entrance of the Ohio Theater 50ft away. Tickets Only. Gotta walk all the way around outside for will call.

A really fun place downtown with a lot of free events. The carisoul is a nice touch for kids.

Beautiful place is amazing

We visited the Christmas display at the commons and it was gorgeous. A very festive way to get into the holiday spirit!

The setting is nice and the landscape and floral gardens are gorgeous to bad picnic with the pops with guests is shut down because of social distancing from the Corona virus

It is just a very simple, elegant, peaceful area to walk through. With the Christmas lights it was magical!

The commons hold a special place in my heart. I work next to the commons and they are perfect for those times in the workday when you just need to take a walk and breathe. Maybe sit on one of those rocking chairs and watch the grass sway in the breeze.

I like it now but I liked it before it was a City center

This is a good place to go when you take a lunch break during work and want to walk for exercise or sit in the park.

I believe that this is a wonderful park. I have attended several Picnic With the Pops concerts at this location and was not disappointed. Very well manicured park.

This comment is concerning the lack of quality management without any concern for customer service. Every KFC I have been to over the last year has had poor or non-existent customer service. Food is good but stores are tired and lack service. I will probably stop trying KFC and begin getting my chicken from Popeyes Chicken. I tried them and much clearer stores and much better service .. chicken sandwich was excellent....so goodbye KFC wont be long before youre done if you keep on the path you currently are on.

This place is great. Easy to get in, easy to get out. Saw Kool and the Gang show. I cant believe I havent gone here before now. I will definitely be going again and again. Bring a cooler full of food and beer.

Hodges U.S. Supreme Court decision]• Several events in celebration of the Americans With Disabilities Act [ADA] [with tents by vendors and by non-profit organizations]• Several Earth Day celebrations [with tents by vendors and by non-profit organizations]• A March for Science [that had begun at the Statehouse and had ended at Columbus Commons]Columbus Commons is always extremely beautiful during the Christmas season because of the many Christmas lights.Columbus Commons has a merry-go-round but I have never seen it operating.I recently [4-16-2019] spent a very pleasant hour or so sitting on a bench near the merry-go-round at Columbus Commons and relaxing between two events that I had been planning to attend in downtown Columbus.

Great place but busy for slice of Columbus. Update 9/11 back at Slice of Columbus. Had a nice time was very hot and the pizza was delicious . Very busy enjoyed it .

Looking for the perfect family outings. The commons offers concerts movies kids activities. Adult activities like Zumba aerobics. Affordable foods on property. Or just around the corner. Cota and parking across the street. Go for it=:)

Very beautiful and unexpected Holiday Light display.

I went to sit and eat my lunch, but there wasnt a trash can to be found anywhere. Just because its late fall or even if its winter, people still use the park and want to keep it clean, without having to junk up their cars with trash.

Took the grandkids and they really enjoyed the whole light display and were really excited about the Grinch being there!!!
