A great place for walking or running! I normally walk or run here 4 days a week. The atmosphere is peaceful, social but friendly. There are steps for exercising; a padded track for walking or running; a tennis court, playground, and plenty of softball fields. Lots of shade and the main trail is about a mile and a half long with markers.

Lake Bottom in Columbus Georgia Wonderful Place too walk and Watch Baseball Games,Tennis,Basketball and Track and Field and Nice Play Ground for the Children and walking your dog and meet up with friends and to have a Family! Outing. And Picnic !!!

A really nice park! The best one Ive been to around town!! It has a baseball, football, basketball and tennis court. It also has a track and a playground!!!

Good for walking.

The bathrooms are quite nasty and the mens room has insufficient stalls. The track is decent and so is the trail. There have been issues with people smoking marijuana in the park as well. Great park with poor maintenance and security.

It is a great park to go for walks and to do Tai Chi. It gets a little humid after rain but that keeps the dust from the trail down when walking I have found. Sometimes there are events there and there is a running track, basketball court, tennis courts, playgrounds, baseball/softball fields, and excercise stations along the outside track. Plenty of things to do and see. Have fun!

Decent place to go walking alone or with others

The park, quite large, is just off High Street in downtown. Plenty of walking paths, a pond, trees... A nice place to relax and unwind. Tons of ducks in the pond. And believe it or not, three or four very rare white squirrels, back near the playground! Nice little complement to the hustle bustle eating/shopping of the adjacent Short North. We parked here at the meters ($1 in quarters for 90 minutes I think) and walked 1 block east on Russell to High and north 1/2 a block to Brassica. Nice little walk in the sunny day in a clean park so close to everything, perfectly safe in the day time.

Nice park.but some dog owners let their dog poop on the walking trail and for that reason I have been noticing a lot of walkers, walking on the street to keep from walking in poop to include myself. Nice playground for small children and a walking track as will as a basketball and tennis courts

The park has a significantly improved over the last few years. The baseball area which includes three fields and a batting cage has substantially been improved over the last few years. The playground tennis courts and track with football field in the center on the other side of the park Ive also been utilized in a great way over the last few years by the high school directly across the street Columbus High School.

Very well-maintained park with a playground area, trails, open space, a creek, etc. My preschooler had plenty to explore and enjoyed meeting other kids to play with - people were very friendly. Great place for a walk. Parking is free and available all around the park making all parts easily accessible.

City services/park services needs to clean up major tree refuse blocking lower end of creek by 13th street. I’ve notified City Service Center 311 month ago but no response.

Beautiful grounds with 3 playgrounds, hiking trail with exercise stops. Running track, tennis courts. Great for family cookout or walking. Lots of Art events during weekends. Fun for everyone. Light Id good at night as well.

I love this park. It has a loose gravel track around the outside, and a stream running through the middle. It is a pretty decent size with plenty of room for picnics, frisbee, and it has valley ball courts. There are lovely homes surrounding it on three sides and school activity/practice field on the other side.

It is well maintained and there are exercise activities throughout the outside of the park just off of The Walking track. They also have a track if you are a professional Runner they have a nice running track in the middle of the park. They also have tennis courts for tennis.

Playgrounds are fantastic. Walking trails are nice and well maintained. The Peach Little League is the best.

Best and the safest park to workout. Friendly people. Tennis, basketball courts, football & baseball fields, as well as a volleyball area. Great areas at the park to throw fun family outings.Con. car breaking, if there is something left in plainview opportunist will take advantage.

Dark streets

Love the park and so do our dogs, but it would be much better if there was an enclosed area for dogs. Considering just how many people bring their dogs down here, it would be a great feature to have a little dog park in the area.

The ballparks are lacking. They dont have any type of covering over the bleachers. If its hot out, you roast in the sun. If its raining, you get rained on. There has not been much improvement in years. The bathrooms are most always really bad!

Okay park with lots of trees, shade and an offering of 2 baseball fields. My only problem was there was a lot of trash on the grounds my toddler kept finding on the floor as we were walking around.
