An intimate theatre bringing you close to the action on the stage, and accommodating down to earth shows. We saw the Celtic Nutcracker and it was amazing. The sound, lighting and temperature all made the venue a welcoming place to see the show.

There is a lot to love about this place beginning with its history rooted in the African-American community and its tradition of showcasing quality & alternative artistic performances. If you havent seen a show here, you should. The place really is beautiful and you can appreciate it having been rennovated. The setting is intimate so every seat is a good seat. But, honestly, the actually seats need replacing. They are not comfortable to sit on, and you probably have about just as much leg room as you would on an airplane. Some pluses include good sound quality, alcohol sales, free parking, near downtown location and easy access to I-71.

Went to see The Journey and it was spectacular! I was sooooo moved and enthralled... I cant even find the words to describe this Opera! The Lincoln Theatre has been beautifully restored and was the perfect venue for this celebration of music inspired by African-American culture! A concept and creation of Destiny Coleman! This was a masterful piece! A piece I would gladly see again!

I go to PB&JAZZ. This is a wonderful almost free concert. Family concert geared to children only because they promote it as such. Each concert is a difference group and a different style of Jazz. Today was 30s& 40s. Children have a great time.

I absolutely love this place.My daughter performs here every year. The ushers are the sweetest. Mrs Susan is great. They are always the greatestThe venue is always clean and beautiful.

Nice atmosphere!Program director did not have information forthcoming about the ability to use Lincoln Centers instruments. My daughter ended up being unaccompanied in her performance. We drove 6 hours and waited 4 more for that disappointing 3 minutes. She was a trooper and performed anyway. Bless her heart. Lesson learned, though.

I read a few reviews before my first time visiting, about how cosy this place is and how close everyone is to the stage. It is absolutely true! The decor is beautiful and I cannot stress how I love the free (and hassle-free) parking at the lots surrounding the theater! The staff and ushers were great and the bathrooms are the most systematic Ive seen, with a separate entry and exit door that makes waiting in line SO much less of a pain.

The Lincoln theater has a very intimate feel to it. There are no bad seats as it is not a very large venue so any choice will give you a clear view of the stage and great sound quality.

Very nice building and staff.The show was amazing. The kids from Woodcrest elementary school had a great time. My son enjoyed it a lot and asked if we could go back and see more plays. Thanks for having us!!

Great theatre that is very accommodating! My podcast recently had a live show here and everyone was wonderful! The space is great and it was really nice to have several areas available for us to get ready and prepare before the show. The theatre itself is really nice and if you are looking for a place to house your event, make sure to check out the Lincoln!

It was very nice inside which was not what I expected. The people were very kind and the seats were comfortable. I had a great view of The Columbus City Orchestra.

I have very mixed feelings about this place. As far as the building goes its absolutely beautiful! Stepping inside the theater is almost like stepping back in time. Its gorgeous inside. However, The parking situation is a pain and the scheduling and planning of things at all levels here is hit or miss at best.

Such a beautiful place. I always enjoy seeing live plays here, the ticket prices are always reasonable and you can also rent this place out for special events. Its centrally located, easy to find and has pleasant atmosphere.

The Patternz Summer Camp and Thiossane Dance Institute are the true gems for the community and beyond!!The inside of this theatre is beautiful and takes you back to a different time in history. Such a rich and diverse culture moving people in positive directions!

Nice theater for performing arts. The exterior keeps a vintage look while being restored. The interior is well designed and allows comfortable viewing of the performance. Sound is sufficiently loud and very clear. Great performance space.

I saw the Columbus Gay Mens Chorus. They never disappoint. Their songs are energetic and full of passion and joy.

Theater itself is compact and cozy. Great visibility and sound from everywhere. All surrounding area is revitalized and looks interesting. And I hope they will have interesting programs as well.

First time at this venue. Great facility! Saw (and heard) George Winstons one man concert; acoustics were perfect!

Saw Opera Project Columbus perform Faust. Enjoyable night. It was unique that OPC decided to showcase different composers interpretation of Faust. The theatre itself was clean and welcoming, I enjoyed the Egyptian decor.

My class went on a field trip to the Lincoln Theater to see the Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales. The play was awesome. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. My students had a blast and they were engaged during the whole production. We will absolutely be returning for another production.

We Came here to see Chris Fleming of YouTube Fame (Gayle Waters Waters) & Overall I Really Enjoyed the Experience! The Venue has a bit of a small lobby that can become uncomfortably crowded at times. Otherwise though, the staff is Really helpful & polite & the Heart of the Venue so to speak is Lovely! The Nice ,if A bit odd, Decor & Comfortable Seating make it a Good Venue in my opinion!

Went to a womens conference here and it was amazing. Such a cute theatre! I also attended a wedding and reception here several years ago. It was a great location for a wedding, I wouldve never thought to have one there. Ceremony was in the theatre and reception was in a large ballroom upstairs.

Worst experience from a restaurant. The waitress must of been on some kind of drugs. Took 10mins to get our order and while waiting 20mins for two salads she came to our table at least 4x to confirm what we ordered. When the salads came out, one was missing two of the main ingredients and the other the chicken was gross. We also had to get up and find clean forks since she never provided them for us, even after asking. Ordered chips and drink, only received the drink but still had to pay for the chips as well. Then waited in line for about 20mins just to pay for our meals. If we werent going across the street to the Lincoln Theatre we would of just left and not eaten here. Save your time and money. Its pretty bad when you have to tell incoming customers other places with better service.

A staple of the Bronzeville area and Columbus as a whole. This historical theatre has been home to some of the citys greatest talent and continues to break ground for the talent of tomorrow.

I saw Henry Rollins here and was pleasantly surprised by this place. The theater is very nice, the staff friendly, and I think every seat looked like it would have a great view. Not sure if this is always, but they even had free parking nearby. A great place to see one of my favorite speakers!

I would not go back. I was 10 minutes late to an event for my granddaughter as her twin had an event right before this one. I arrived and bought 3 tickets only to find that there were no seats on the main floor. I proceeded to the balcony and was told by the usher that it was only for the performers. I was also told this by the usher in the lobby. I had 2 small grandchildren with me and did not want to stand for the whole performance as they would not be able to see. I went and got my money back and left. On my way home, my daughter texted me and said they were sitting in the balcony. I qould not go back, as the facility knew there was no more room, why would they have not made the plan to use part of the balcony beforehand...no contingency plan! The raring is do a nice facility.

I love the renovations they’ve done here. Really beautifully done. Great small theatre to see a show. We’ve been here for PBJ and Jazz and for Catco for kids. The little ones have loved it and we love the small community feel of the theatre. Easily accessible with great parking right across the street. Worthwhile checking out this local neighborhood gem.
