I’ve enjoyed coming to Studio 35 for several years and it’s been such a nice slice of normal for a couple hours during rona times. They have a good beer selection and tasty pizzas and I LOVE the quirky movie artwork. Both times I’ve been during the pandemic, everyone was masked and there were not many people in the theater. When we arrived, we were able to select our seats and all the chairs surrounding us were blocked off, so I never felt like people were close by at all.Prior to the pandemic, we did a couple beer tastings, which were a ton of fun and I really hope those are able to start back up after the world reopens.

A nice smaller movie theater in Clintonville. Really comfy seats, great popcorn and usually feature new release movies. One downside is that they dont own a parking lot, so street parking near the theatre is the only option.

This was my first visit ever to Studio 35 and I watched End Game. Didnt know what kind of quality to expect with it being a one screan theater but I havent enjoyed a theater visit as much as I did here at Studio 35. Loved the environment. Really good beer with an old school theater feel.I do have to say the sound quality seemed a little lacking. Kind of too quiet at some parts of the movie. But not enough to take away from the experience.Despite that I still Loved every moment. You can grab an entire pizza and take it in with you AND have a table to eat on! How can you not love this place?I really enjoyed my visit. I will be back again soon.10 out of 10 A1 sauce

One of the few places you can truly come as you are and be welcomed. Definitely visit them to check out their recent renovations. Love this local staple so so so much!

Finally got to visit here to watch MOFAs Three Weeks of Terror screening and couldnt have had a better experience. Bar staff helped me choose a beer; popcorn was fresh, seating was extremely comfortable (seemed almost brand new), and they were super accommodating to my father whose in a wheel chair (despite their current ongoing renovations). Cant wait to visit once the renovations are done! Certainly a new addition to the list of places I recommend friend visit when they come to town

One of my favorite movie theaters and draft houses in Columbus. Was a short walk from where I lived and was such a nice atmosphere. The owners are also really chill and down to earth. I even had the chance to work on their hilarious theater intro with Spacejunk Media back in 2016. Not sure if it still plays but was a ton of fun to see it there on the big screen when I watched Rogue One!

What is there not to love about a well maintained, very clearly well loved little independent theater. Cozy and small, there is a feeling off community and camaraderie that washes over you the second you step inside. Offering a wide selection of beers, custom and themed cocktails and candy, along with the option of getting pizza delivered, you cant go wrong. I especially recommend the beer tasting movie showings. You honestly cant ask for a better way to spend an afternoon! The service is impeccable, the bartenders friendly and funny. They treat you like a friend. Andy, the dude who runs the beer tastings, has it down to an art.10/10

The Studio is a single screen cinema with a Drafthouse. They partner with Pizza Primo to offer pizza, subs, and wings. Of course popcorn is available, and you can add M&Ms for $.50 a scoop! One of the last bastions of old Columbus. Sometimes one gets fed up with inhabiting buildings built in 2016. The bar, which sits between the door and the theater, has a Cheers vibe and is inhabited by the film-obsessed. Order a pizza and eat it in the theater. Frequently decorated in the holiday of the moment, this place is shrouded in the magic of what Columbus used to be before it became Chicago.

A true gem of a movie theater. The bar has an excellent selection of craft and local beers as well as some movie-themed takes on classic drinks. Theres no kitchen, but from the counter you can order food from nearby Pizza Primo. Honestly, I like the atmosphere so much, sometimes I dont even bother with a movie. This is a great place to just hang out with your friends. The theater itself is also worth the price of admission. Its an old-school single screen, but everything has been recently renovated, including tables in the back if you want to bring your food or drinks with you. The movies are usually the big Hollywood picture of the day, but theres a lot of special programming as well, like a monthly showing of ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW among many others. Highly recommended.
