This is a decent dog park but theres no shade at all. Its still a work in progress. They have planted some small trees but it will be many, many years until they provide any shade. Theres a light for night time but it leaves some areas pretty dark. Its set up in basically a rectangle with 1 loop path. There are a few benches to sit on if you need a break. Theres water but it doesnt always work. People leave bottles of water by the water bowl however I caution you to bring your own. You never know what some sicko may put in there. Theres a separate area for smaller dogs. Unfortunately its pretty small. Just because theyre small dogs, doesnt mean they dont need room to run. Both areas are all dirt so after snow or a good rain, it will be muddy in some areas. I suggest bringing an old towel for your pumps feet before they get back in the car. At peak times, the park can get pretty crowded. When all the dogs play nice, its great but not everyone seems to be able to recognize when their dogs have had enough & are starting to become aggressive. The biggest problem, that every dog park seems to have, is the kids. Its totally fine to bring your kids but letting them run & chase dogs is down right dangerous. Also, I have no idea why this isnt common sense but Ive seen people bring food inside the fenced area. This is just asking for trouble. So, bring your dogs, bring your kids & even bring your lunch. BUT pay attention to your dogs mood. Tell your children not to run or approach unknown dogs & remind them this is NOT a playground for CHILDREN. AND, eat your lunch in your car or the picnic area.

Nice park. Two different parks one for small and one for large dogs. I prefer to take my dog to the bigger park LOTS of room and there usually isnt any small dogs in the smaller park when we go there. The smaller one is really small, not enough room to run around alot and my dog loves to run. Another down fall is there is a lot of owners dont pick up after their dog and there is no shade but there are benches around that you can sit on. Also, a nice little water well for the dogs to get fresh clean water.

Its a nice dog park. Its mostly a fenced in dirt field. I would rate it higher if they had more obstacles for the dogs. All they have is one giant drain pipe near the entrance. They have a watering hole for the dogs to rehydrate. Fair warning make sure you keep an eye on your dog because a lot of other people dont watch theirs. My dog got her ball stolen from her multiple times by another dog and the owner didnt even notice or say anything. PSA dog parks are for you to enjoy time with your dog, not sit on your phone scrolling through social media.

The reason I’m at a one star is because the people here with aggressive dogs do not care to do anything about the behavior. We need more people to stand up and address it as a group vs one on one. This will hold them accountable for their dogs actions. This one of the 3 German Shepard’s that I have encountered.

Its ok.. decide size.. lots of dirt.. would be awesome to have mix of grass and dirt.. but good place for dogs to get other dog time

There isnt much to this park but my dogs love it. My male dog loves his dirt hills and there are three there for him to dig at. The park is mostly dirt which means they get a little messy while there. My biggest complaint is the dogs that are brought here. Many people bring their agitated and aggressive dogs here and think thats how their dog plays. Just keep watch of your dogs while youre here and youll be fine.

Is a good place to let the pups run. Met very pleasant folks and many friendly dogs. Location Is convenient. 1st time to this park.

Small but nice dog park. If you are local I would definitely recommend, if you are driving for a bit to get there I would consider Bear Creek dog park.

Its just an open dirt field, it gets muddy after precipitation and the patrons dont like to clean up after their dogs, but it was super convenient when we lived on that side of town. I definitely suggest Bear Creek Dog Park if you have the time, but this is good enough if you dont.

I like this park, it is very close to my house so it is convenient to go to when I want them to be able to run around. Its pretty small and mainly just dirt but very popular and its got a little bit of a hill so the dogs enjoy it! I would like a few more activity things for the dogs thats why 3 stars!

Plenty of room for dogs to run. theres a few port a potties onsite and at least one yard hydrant for dogs. theres fenced areas to separate your dog from others if need be. theres a great walking trail right behind here and a park right next to it. perfect.

Im sure overall itll have a few bad days but my first visit was nice. it is primarily dirt with a few young trees. there are mounds of dirt for diggers to tear up and separated big and little. not an egregious amount of poop so its well maintained. most of the owners TODAY had their furrbabies under control. will definitely bring my pups again.

Do not go after recent rain or snow. This place is almost entirely dirt.

Super awesome, big dogs separate from the little guys makes me feel so much better! My guy is super sweet but at 130 lbs I worried he would trample someones pup. No worries, he played with new friends his size and he had a ball in the snow... This is a great aspect of our community!

It’s a convenient location and dogs & their people are generally well-behaved. My dog loves climbing all over the little mounds here. The only downside is the lack of any shade whatsoever.

Small and large dog parks both have a water spout and bowls for water. The big dog park is a good size with a tunnel sand mountains and benches for people. Nicely fenced off and an overall great enviorment. We take our boxer mix puppy there often and she LOVES it.

My dogs love coming here to play on weekends. They just built a small dog section for the little guys.

Only downside is the missing shade for the dogs and their owners. And sometimes it gets a little too crowded on a nice weekend. Love that there is water for the dogs though! Thats a big plus.

Good location on the East part of town. I met some nice people and dogs. Its a pretty busy park. I went at 11am on a Wednesday and there were at least 25 dogs in this small park.

Well. The porta potty was terrible. No one could use it. The place was rented and no key for the side bathrooms next to the basketball court. It was supposed to be unlocked. We had electricity but no night light for the time allotted. The timer never turned the lights on. It was a didaster. I just played basketball and we had to leave early, load up and leave. Nice place but no service. Only the trash cans were available.

Dirt patch. Great area to play with other dogs. Bring water.

Perfect place to bring your dog. Only negative is the location of trash cans and lack of shade. Positive is your dog will be good and tired after spending time here

Its a very nice doggy park with lots of things added on the large dog side. I wouldve rated it with 5 starts if they had more things in the side for small dogs. They need little logs and thighs to make it more exciting for them as much as the large dogs do.

Its as good as you can get east of powers. Mostly friendly people!

The closest dog park to us so its an easy one to go to. They are working on it improving it with additional trees and activities for the dogs. We enjoy going there for a quick outing.

This is the first official dog park Ive ever been to and we love it. Its clean and well maintained. Our 5 month old boxer loves it! There seems to be a good group of dogs and owners that visit here. Weve never had any trouble with overly aggresive dogs and everyone respects each other so a thumbs up from our family.

Lots of dogs for my two to play with. Most people do clean up after their pets. Good option if you cant get to Bear Creek

This dog park is okay for it being close to home. They have made a lot of improvements in the past few years, which has helped. My biggest complaint is that they only have two pick up stations - and then get upset that people arent cleaning up after their dogs and threaten to shut the park down. Like Bear Creek, clean up stations should be every 100 yards or so - that would help cut down on the laziness of people not wanting to clean up after their dogs, which is also annoying, but unfortunately human nature. My other complaint is that some of the owners seem totally clueless and dont really pay as much attention to their dogs. We dont seem to have that issue at Bear Creek which could just be due to the size of it. The other issue is that after a snow or rain, the park gets very muddy, there is no gravel or grass to combat the puddle of mud at the entrances.

I’m glad to see they’re planting more trees. It gets a bit toasty in the summer. The water dish is nice. Owners often don’t pick up after their dogs so watch where you step.

Very popular park. Many people use the park and it seems that some dog training takes place there. The environment is nice. I never seen any problems or issues. You should always be alert in a public space, but it seems like a good place to take your dog for a walk.

It is well thought out. There is a small dog fenced area & a very large fenced area for the big dogs. With dirt hills, trees, fire hydrant.

Owners and dogs are great. Small dog run and large area are right next to each other. Had to let an owner know their dog pooped when they werent watching and they jumped on cleaning it up. Overall great park with newly planted trees.

Every single time I have brought my dog to this park, he has been attacked by an aggressive dog. This dog park is full to the brim with irresponsible dog owners. Its such a shame that people with dogs who just need to run cant bring their dogs here without risk of a dog fight.

Decent enough park. A little barren and not enough shade but the dogs still got themselves tired out.

Have gone to this park a lot before. But just went to play recoil (basically lazer tag) and it was a lot of fun. Its not summer so the grass is still dead but its easy to slide on so you can take cover from enemy fore really easy. We played at the gazebo and it worked really well. If you have youre own recoil set this is a great place to go

It a older park but very well kept up.

Great for the most part. Just needs more activity items for dogs to play on or with. It would be excellent if they got a little more creative with what they install for the dogs to play around on or with. Maybe a big and little tug if war rope, something unique like that.

I was going here, but lately the people who come with their dogs do not pay attention - it gets too crowded and fights break out in the afternoons. I have since stopped coming after the 4th fight in a row. Not cool.

Love to bring my dogs here, just wish there was more stuff for humans, like a gazebo or better benches.

Not a bad place to take your dogs. There is a ton of space for them to run. There is an active water faucet to keep them hydrated, and plenty of bags to help keep it clean.

This park is amazing! It has two basket ball courts, fields for soccer and football, a baseball field, a playground, and of course a whole area for your dog

Some seating and a water spout for the dogs is here, and the dirt mounds are interesting but my main issue is for some reason tension ALWAYS seems high here among the dogs. Theres never been a time where I come here without 2-3 little fights breaking out somewhere (sometimes involving my own dogs) which never happens at Bear Creek or Foxrun, where all the dogs seem more relaxed. I dont know why this happens here, I just know its worth the drive to go elsewhere to avoid the tension.

This is a clean dog park. Owners are very good about cleaning up after their dogs. Please continue the trend if you visit. Go early when its cool out as there is not much shade. There is fresh water and a small dog area.

I use the Eastridge Dog Park frequently. Its close and l like the fact that you are able to watch your dog (s) at all times. If people would clean up after their pets, it would be perfect!!
