Nice park to enjoy the outdoors. This place has everything for the family. For the grand parents to the grand kids. You can hike by the creek. Or play different types of sports. Go out and enjoy!!!

Close to town. Nice scenic walk for fall plenty of changing colors and a great landscape view as you walk the creek towards the mountain!

Great park, kinda down the hill away from the crossroads. Good playground equipment with plenty of options and some unique structures I havent seen at most playgrounds. Nearby is a smooth concrete skating rink, basketball courts, huge grass field, walking trails, and disc golf course. Baseball field right next to playground but at this time its under construction/renovation.

Been going here for years! Clean...& lots of green, grassy fields to run and play frisbee..football..kick a soccer around. Bring the kiddos and the hounds...you all will enjoy yourselves: trust.

Great place for walking, running or bicycling. A family place! You can walk your dog while exercicing. Big park to play football. They also have a disc playgroung.

Cottonwood creek is an excellent park. They have a great playground, basketball, tennis, hockey, baseball, a massive green field for anything else, a beautiful loop to walk, and good hills for sledding if there is snow.

Nice park, but was looking for a river, found mostly dry river bed. There are some nice falls that sound really nice. That picture must have been taken a long time ago, there are full grown trees in the river bed.

So nice and well maintained. Enjoyed the walk around the sidewalk and the trail that goes into the disk golf area. Playground is great for my 6 and 5 year olds.

Fantastic park. YMCA Pool, Frisbee course, Baseball diamonds, play ground and much more. Personally, I take advantage of riding my bike and walking my dogs.

This is a large park the kids loved how big this park is and has a giant field to play at aswell. Lots of fun.

There are three playsets and a swing set. There are a lots of moms and children, even teenagers as well. If you want to have a good enough space with others for Covid, you should pick the time less people would be there. The field area is huge, so it might be a good idea to bring a ball or something and go to the field if there are a lots of people.

Love this park. People let their dogs run off leash which is quite annoying sometimes and the park can get incredibly busy. There is usually always at least 5 people there from open to close. A great place to go on a morning run or play volleyball if you bring your own net and etc. they have a lovely playground and multiple baseball fields. Also love the paths next to the creek. Such a beautiful place.

Beautiful facilities with lots of room so that everyone can enjoy the space. I can always find a parking spot, and I love that there are walking paths in addition to the grassy fields all around. It would be nicer if the restrooms by the fields were always open instead of just port-a-potties, but overall, its a beautiful place. We love it there!

Very fun, clean place. Disk golf is challenging here but fantastic.

The Disc Golf course has a load of technical shots to help improve my game. I didnt much care for it the first time I played. The next time I was more confident and found out how good the course really is.

One of my favorite walking spots. Safe with a varierty of walking path options.

Lunch and tossing the football in the park with my daughter was a great way to redeem the time during COVID-19.

Not a sliver of shade, just literally a green grassy field. No water, the bathrooms are locked and the potholes to get into and out of the park will wreck your wheels if you don’t drive slowly. The garbage hasn’t been removed in a while so the area near any trash cans stinks and is full of flies.

A great park for the family or just as nice walk by yourself. There are a hand full of bikers that are rude and going to fast around walkers. There is a restroom but it is on the far side of the playground and closer to the parking lot. The week end is packed with sport games and parking is very hard to find. As apark for the week day, it is great.

This is a huge park. Lots of space for people to walk around and plenty of play equipment to handle lots of kids. Sidewalks seem a little unkept due to the season but during the summer this is a beautiful place. Just as with other parks beware of other dogs running around. One charged right at my Chloe but I picked her up in time for nothing to happen. Just beware. Great area though.

Wasnt impressed. Its a huge park but theres much more beautiful parks in the Springs, like Nancy Lewis. Also it should be just called Cottonwood because the creek is dried out.

Its a great place to take a walk with my dog. And people are so friendly.

There is a large field and playground perfect for lots of different games and activities There is also a super great trail that you can easily walk/bike. Its actually a pretty long trail and it follows the river.

I was enjoying dinner there, people also use the parking lot to deal dope amongst other things

Played the nice medium size 18 hole disc golf course. Has a nice mixture of elevation.

Great park. Nice trail in the back. Alot of the local teams come to practice on the field.

Great park to take a long walk with or without dogs. A lot of people love walking their dogs here. There is a large grassy area to play around in, and a disc golf course nearby as well. The only downside is this place is very busy on weekends- especially when the weather is nice. If you catch it on a cooler day though there arent nearly as many.

Loved watching hot air balloons lift off during the balloon festival from this park!

I love this park. I have begun my weekly long runs here during the last few months and it is always well-maintained, clean, and safe. I think it’s kind of humorous that teenagers congregate to the parking lot at night to play music and smoke weed, but I can imagine that is a negative for some people.

Went to burn one for a buddy that passed. Got his only Ace there. Great memories!

Great trail that is fairly level, not much elevation.

I brought my teenage son here to practice Parkour. The playground is very large with great obstacles for bounding, mantling, kongs, you name it! Right next to the gorgeous softball fields, so kids of all ages can have fun while parents play.

Cant wait to play in these fields when they finally lay the turf down!

Always a fun park for all ages. With less people our and about. It is a much more fun and relaxing place.

I like how Cottonwood Creek has a beautiful view of pikes peak and the good biking trails.

New to Colorado Springs and this was a great place for outdoor beginner (me) frisbee golf. I love that its not far from my apt. Great scenery and sunshine to see after staying in so much from this Covid stuff

Even when this place is busy I can usually find parking. Grass and large field are in pretty good shape, aside from some spots that get a little flooded after a good rain.

This is a great park! The only reason I gave it a 4 star is they DO NOT have dog bags or those dog stations. They DO have plenty of garbage cans and signs telling you about cleaning up after your dog. Theres a frisbee golf course and plenty of walking track and open grass fields

I mostly just come here to play Niantic games (there are many pokestops/wizard inns, its great) but the folks playing frisbee golf seem to be having fun too.

Its a well kept up park. Perfect for walks!

Very open park, field used for football or soccer practice. Even has baseball stadiums, it’s close to an aquatics center. And has a disc golf course. Not to mention that it’s excellent for pokemonGo. 4 gyms, and maybe 15 poke stops. There’s a lot of fun to be had here!

Always a nice place to meet up with friends

We brought our children here during January and the water was just the right temperature. The wave-pool is now officially working again. Ten dollars for adults and children under 2 get in for free. The staff is super friendly and the changing rooms are clean. I wouldnt recommend bring too many floating toys because they provide you with (waterlogged) noodles.

This is an excellent city park that offers a wide variety of events to do. Of course walking, with or without dogs, disc golf, softball, frisbee, football. This park is well maintained by the city. I would say the disc golf area needs upgrading, but I think they are working on it.

Playground open as of 7 July 2020. Lots of shady trees spread over a large area to picnic under while remaining socially distant from other families.

So much to do here, large park for children, right next to the cottonwood rec center, frisbee golf, spacious fields, baseball fields, perfect hills for sledding on. Excellent amount of parking. Nice trail down by the creek to explore. There are lots of trees for shade on those hot days as well. We love coming here!

Best Disc Course in the Briargate area. Highly recommend. Also has huge grass field for warming/practicing or to just play fetch with your puppies. Very clean and always friendly atmosphere. Nice place to relax. Has a creek with enough running water to satisfy my water dog!!

Its a good place to take the kids to go sledding in the winter.

This is a great park and it spans a relatively large area. It has a great inline hockey rink! Its kept up well by the city and provides hours of fun and exercise. They even provide lighting to get in your hockey fix at night. Its easy to find and located near tons of other fun activities within the park. You can explore the other parts of the park and find tennis, frisbee golf, baseball and softball fields, a great trail system that runs aloing a creek, indoor swimming and a huge playground fit for all ages. There is also a very large grassy area that can accommodate multiple soccer games. I think on average there is typically about 6 games going spanning across all ages.

Awesome Frisbee golfing course!

The park has 3 play structures, and sports fields that seem well maintained. The trails and frisbee golf are great as well. I wish there were restrooms closer to the playground--the ball field ones are only open during games:-( . There were cigarette packs and other litter around the picnic table but the playground itself was pretty clean. We enjoy playing here!

This is a great city park with just about everything! From soccer fields to roller hockey rink, basketball, baseball fields great playground and the YMCA is right there with indoor swimming and all. Parking isnt enough though, especially for the soccer games.

Its family friendly, clean and well lit with plenty of visual clearance so I consider it a safe, which is NOT what we say about all springs parks. This one is nice.

Its INCREDIBLY well maintained and large in size. The view is a one of a kind. Only in Colorado. Its absolutely breath taking. Theres gorgeous greenery all around and mountains majesty as you enjoy the beautiful park itself. Theres so many amenities and well done. Great job Cottonwood.

The restrooms are nasty and the ball fields are under some kind of construction
