I must share my experience! I took my (almost) 11 year old son. He made it about 1/4 way through and got too scared and asked to leave. Once out he wanted to try again. A manager let us go again. Then a wonderful man named Ryan (I believe he was also a manager) escorted us through the whole haunt with a no scare where the actors didnt jump out at us. Ive never heard of a haunted house letting you try again and definitely not have someone take a party through with a no scare. My son made it to the end and loved it. The fact they were so kind and generous and understanding impressed the hell out of me. It was my second time visiting this year but i will DEFINITELY come back year after year. (The first time i went was with a soldier and even he freaked out...). Its the best haunted house Ive been to in the springs and the props and actors are fantastic. GREAT JOB GUYS and thanks a billion!

To the owner: My family and I had a great experience and the actors were all enthusiastically in character. My family has made this event a Halloween tradition. Great job guys! The only complaint I have is with the Chainsaw actor at the very end. I heard him tell my nephew Come on, I dont have time for your freaking games! That was uncalled for and he might need a quick pep talk. His attitude almost ruined the awesome experience we had up to that point, but we didnt let that get to us! This is one of the best haunted houses Ive ever been to! The definitely put some thought into design and put A TON of money into props! I love how they have sections of themes. They couldve used more live actors, but I still give it 5 stars because we go to A LOT of haunted houses and its in my top 3.

Great experience! Super fun! I chose to do the scary room! I was able to laugh a LOT when my girlfriends were extremely scared!! If you like scary this is a great place for an escape room!

Had fun getting out of the elevator and the manor!! Cant wait to try out the pin! Employees are wonderful fun and friendly! We had tuns of laughs with our friend hiding in the walls.

Scary! The actors were all so good and the layout was dizzying in how well done and also how large it was. Wish I would have bought the ticket that included the other attraction because after finishing the haunted house I wanted more! Would definitely come again.

They have 3 escape rooms, and I WILL be going back for the other 2. The details, the challenge, the absolute immersive experience was unlike anything else. Very helpful staff, such realism in the attraction. Decor had me feeling a pit in my stomach and an overall sense of dread. Loved it and will definitely go again. Not to mention their sistering attraction haunted mines. Another 5/5 in my honest opinion. If you are lookin for a good scare these are the people to turn to.

Absolutely Horrific and Terrifying in the best way! The actors work their butts off and it shows this season! It’s great to see a haunt who is able to accommodate to the craziness going on with the world in such a safe and exciting way. The changes made to the building this year are absolutely breathtaking and everywhere you look there is more to be uncovered. :)

WOW! What a start to the spooky season! Hellscream Entertainment has never disappointed but the staff and actors of Hellscream Haunted House have really stepped up their game this year! Not only have they gone above and beyond to follow social distancing regulations with mandatory masks and hand sanitizer stations throughout the haunt, but they are somehow more frightening than ever! They never come near you but that doesnt make the way they chase you any less terrifying. Truly a wonderful experience deserving of their title.

I love hellscream. They really put time, effort, and attention to detail in their setup. The atmosphere seamlessly change from creepy, to spooky, to slasher. Love watching chainsaw guy do his thing.

This is by far the scariest haunted house I have ever been to. It was horrific and twisted and perfect in every way. The amount of detail and scares in every room were the craziest thing ever. I would recommend not going here if you get scared too easily, because it scared the absolute heck out of me, so much that I had to keep my eyes closed at least 25% of the time, and I love haunted houses. I am speechless even an hour after leaving. Amazing job, amazing actors!FOLLOW UP REVIEW:After reading some negative reviews about this place, I just had to say something. Maybe they just went on a bad day, but the day my boyfriend and I went, it literally seemed like there was a scare actor around every single corner, even a little too much maybe. So, unless I was just seeing things, there were most definitely a BUNCH of actors ( and incredibly talented at that!).

Staff was really awesome!The detail was pretty dang cool only issue we saw was the distance between groups unfortunately we didnt get much jump scares due to other groups in front of us. They just need to space out groups more is all. And also this is definitely worth the price for young teens and kids but personally they shouldnt charge the full price on adults.

Its a great time! They all stay in character in the whole time and its really inexpensive. Will definitely go again

Awesome haunt! Being an actor in a haunt, I dont often get scared, but they got me twice! Excellent acting and props, and three floors! It was great!

I walked through opening night, and let me tell you I was terrified! I almost cried they scared me so good! DEFINITELY worth the money! The amount of detail they put into this haunt is absolutely stunning and spooky!

We had such an excellent time in The Pen! This is a must for anyone who likes horror and escape rooms! The staff here are truly incredible and make the experience super immersive. We have been to the Haunted House part several times and this was a cool new way to spend time in this awesome building. Although we didnt make it out, the experience itself was well worth the price of the admission, and we thoroughly enjoyed the scares and thrills!

I had not been in about 4 years and was so excited to bring my family which includes an 11 and 14 year old since they did not come with me last time. We watched many of the promos on the internet and I told them how amazing it was last time and they were pumped. We drove down from Northern Colorado only to be super disappointed. There was not much scare, almost no actors. Just a really blah experience. Driving as far as we did to spend the money that we did was just sad. I would not recommend this at all. Spend time to come to the Denver area for some great haunts. I really hope that this place gets back on track... It almost reminded me of Disneys haunted mansion....

Me and 3 friends were debating whether or not to try a scape room... Im very very glad we did. The experience was amazing and we actually escaped! We picked the option with no actors but the overall layout was very well done and even a little scary. I totally recommend the experience.

I got to see my teenagers in I dont scare easy and we all jumped its certain places within the hellscream haunted house. It was haunting to see the least.

2020 Hellscream haunted house was absolutely pathetic. Not much change up in design from the past few years, besides adding a bunch of mannequins, which is fine, but there were only about 3 actors you come across in the entire thing and the actors are the actual scare factor, and the actors they did have didnt even put on a show!!!! Im a wuss in haunted houses and would normally rate this 5 stars but definitely only 1 this year and its only because it was still aesthetically pleasing to look at and because i have to rate it 1 star at a minimum.Not sure if its due to covid regulations and keeping social distance, but they really shouldnt have bothered this year. Dont waste your money! Wait until they go back to normal! Would be a great time to take little kids tho! I understand businesses are hurting because of Covid. But so are we and everyone else so if youre gonna be a businesses that charges a fortune and not live up to the expectation, shame on you!Response to owner: I noticed some changes, like stated. Obviously me coming once or twice a year and you being the owner, the minimal changes will seem like a lot to you, but to others if it feels familiar it feels familiar ya know? New things did stand out. Definitely a good job on the bathroom scene though, liked that attribute. Definitely needed more scare factors . Things jumping out and popping up, you know, the things that usually make the haunted house worth it? As for the actors, maybe they just didnt do anything so we didnt notice if there were more. But we definitely only encountered a pig face man who scared us a little. The other dude that was like a scientist of some sort cutting up a body, meh. Talked in a normal voice for the most part and didnt do anything creepy. There was a creepy lady after a potion station area or something of the sort who was decent but no scare factor and the chainsaw guy who always gets me the worst. So 4 actors who interacted. And then a lady who just sat on a bed, i saw her rock a little later but didnt do a darn thing when we went through and some chick lying on the ground in a weird postion who just kinda swayed a little. Otherwise it was just a walk through looking at Halloween decorations.Im sorry you find my review conflicting and youre not satisfied with it. But the public should know thats its definitely not what it usually is and just not really worth the money this year. The aesthetic is awesome, as always. And me being a big baby, Id usually rate this and haunted mines as scary enough for me 10/10. But this year I jumped about two times and the rest of my party didnt jump at all My group and I dont buy VIP tickets year after year to both haunted houses because we are unsatisfied. This is a first for us so maybe hear out your customers instead of being so hasty.

I had went there for my birthday. Its so much fun and challenging. If you like to be challenged and being freaked out I highly recommend. The elevator is extremely fun with all the different levels. I even did it without people scarring us and it was still a little creepy.

I’ve been going to this haunted house for years and never want to stop coming back to see more detail and more actors. I love all of the excitement and scares

Despite social distancing and limited capacity, this was creepy, scary, frightening.... definitely spent the majority of the time with an increased heart rate!

Where to even begin with how stinking amazing this place is! We have done both the elevator and the manor! We do a lot of escape rooms and these are both by far our two favorite escape rooms we have ever done! Not only are the puzzles unique and fun to solve but the the rooms and the props and the special effects just put it right over the top! And these have to be the absolute best owners and actors weve ever had the pleasure of getting to work with in an escape room! Not only did they make it fun and scary but they were so kind and caring. We are moving to Colorado from another state and my son was a little nervous about that they put him completely at ease! These are the very best kind of people not only do they raise the art of haunted houses and escape rooms but they represent the City of Colorado springs very well! Ive never so badly wished I had more than five stars to give!!

Me and my children along with their friends went to Hellscream today and it was AMAZING! We did The Pen Escape room and the actors did such a great job! This was our first time at an Escape room and we will definitely be back to do The Elevator and The Manor. We are already planning to attend the Haunted Mines as well. Worth the scare for sure. Every room there was something different that made you jump.

It was super fun! The wait wasn’t too bad for me actually, but we got there around 7:15. the actors were great! The rooms were really cool. We went two years ago, But it wasn’t as scary. I think this time it was a better experience because we had a smaller group, and we went first leading the group. If you can get in front!!! overall i enjoyed it

3 floors of AWESOME. Each floor has a ton going on and its all done really well. One of our party members was on a cane and they were very accommodating with an elevator. Aura assisted us seamlessly with floor transitions. Wed roam around the floor and at the exact right time, shed pop out to escort us to the next floor. The actors were all great and so was the rest of the staff!

Always my go to for entertainment. Whether it be the excellent and creepy escape rooms, or the variety of haunted events through out the year, definitely a great way to spend a spooky few hours with your friends and loved ones. Cannot recommend this enough.

This review is based on my sole experience at Hellscream Room Escapes.This is a very different, yet exciting, form of entertainment from the usual day to day experience...and its a hell of a good time. First off, and most important since this is an escape room, the puzzles are intelligent in that they require you to think, brainstorm, use your noggin, and test your wits in order to escape, as opposed to simply guessing your way out. Personally, as opposed to guessing, I want to be put to the test to see where I stand and to see if I am even capable of...dun dun dun...survival. Second, this escape room takes place in a haunted house and the special effects of the setting, the environment, and the actors are fantastic. I felt like I was in a legit horror movie. It was great. Last but not least, the staff are very professional, responsible, and genuinely caring of the guests, the guests well being, and the overall quality of the guests experience. Yes, I absolutely recommend this escape room and the experience they provide.

Went tonight with my wife, sisters, and one of their friends. Despite an unavoidable technicaldifficulty we were contacted about well in advance that meant wed be doing a different escape room we had an awesome time!The scare feature added a huge amount to the overall excitement and entertainment of The Manor escape room, and totally put the experience over the top.The staff was exceedingly fun, and made sure we all were well equipped and had a great time, we cant wait to go back!The 6 of us escaped with 12 minutes to spare using one hint.

I see how this escape room has rated well. This was our companys first escape room experience. No one had ever done one. The group was patient and professional. We did the scary version and we had a blast as we all worked together. Recommend!

I really wish I could give more stars.What can I say about this place? I feel like calling it amazing is to tame of a word, but lets just go with that. I havent done to many escape rooms, about 25+, Im originally from Florida and recently we (3 of us) drove our way up the states doing escape rooms until we got to Colorado. We reached out online for suggestions in Colorado for great escape rooms and this AMAZING place was suggested to us. Whats so unique about HellScream is that you can not only choose your difficulty level but you can also choose your scare factor! Oh and its all in the center of a haunted house, yes youve heard me correctly a HAUNTED HOUSE.The great thing about this place is not only the awesome props and make of the place, but the workers. On 7/5/19 we decided to do the room called The Pen, we got to work with Shawn our room master and Vince the owner. Both absolutely amazing at their job, great guys and you can really tell they love what they do.We loved the experience so much, and the fact that you get such a great experience for such a great price, we all agreed it went number one on our list of favorite escape rooms this far.So great Im typing this now as we are on our way to do another room with those guys.7/7/19

I have been through both the Elevator Escape room and Haunted Mines Holiday Horror haunted house and both were absolutely outstanding. Really impressive props and actors. Can’t wait to do their other 2 escapes!

Did the non-scary option for the ELEVATOR Escape and had a blast (it was still pretty creepy, though!!) We had a group of four and almost completed in the allotted hour using the extra clues from the host. Two in our party had never done an escape experience and two of us had. Decor and props are top-notch and the staff is the BEST! They have made many improvements since the 2018 haunt season and have more new rooms to come. We plan to try the other Escape experiences as soon as we can. Thanks, Vince!!

I can’t say enough about this place! The youth group that I volunteer with signed up to do the scary escape room. One of the girls completely chicken out. The actors and staff were so kind, caring and personable, they allowed the girls to complete the escape without the scare! They spent some time telling the them and the chaperones some of there secrets because they were worried that the girls were not having fun and might have night mares! I’m not into horror anything, but our youth group will be back and bring more girls next time. This place is a treasure! The best thing I heard was the girls talking about how impressed they were with the staff and how they have a new found interest in the art and of the people that make it. Hell Scream is the best kind of business! They put people 1st and it shows!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! For the great experience and great time!

Really fun, great scares. Only drawback is you have to move through quickly and cant admire the awesome sets as much as you want. Would be so cool if they offered a ticket that allows more of a tour. Lots of work went in to this.

This is the best escape room I have ever done! We picked the Elevator and did it with scary mode on where the actors can touch you! It was so amazing! Like seriously it was the very best escape room I have ever done and I have done 14 now!The staff is very accommodating and friendly and they do an excellent job making the whole experience fun!

VIP pass is totally worth it!! You can tell a lot of work was put into it this haunted house. Multiple stories, awesome costumes/makeup and sound effects! Sure to make your heart race!!

This hellscream by far excellant actors loved them all nice job ladies and gentlemen. My work colleagues and my family were there. Love the set up and the shock scares were perfectly timed. Me, my husband and a friend came here to do The Elevator escape room. The guy who greeted us (totally forgot his name) was super welcoming when we got there. We waited on two other people before we started the room.When first walking in you can really tell they pay attention to detail when it comes to the decor giving it a super creepy vibe. We chose the scary option for the escape room, we ended up getting out in time.We had two people going around switching into different rooms to scare us. They did a great job dressing up, and walking around.My only suggestion is to make the cafeteria part darker (less light) I think it would really amp up the scare factor! That part was probably my favorite part because a lot of detail went into it. & I think having more people to walk around banging on walls while youre trying to figure things out would also amp it up just a tad.Other than that I have nothing bad to say! Would definitely come again:) I love that everyone we met seems so passionate there. Makes it even more enjoyable when you can tell the people there really enjoy their work ! Thanks for having us.

They need to space the time between groups so everyone gets scared. Another group was like 5 feet in front of us so we saw the staff jumping out ahead of time. We may have actually jumped a few times if we didnt see all of the hiding spots in advance. Lol. Overall, good stuff just could be better organized timing-wise. Also, leave your purses/backpacks/bags in your vehicle, otherwise they will tell you to go put it in your vehicle anyway AFTER youve already been standing in line for 10-15 min in the freezing cold waiting to enter the house.

Wouldn’t recommend this place!The employees at hellscream were also a rude and told us to hurry up or step aside because we were going to slow, because they put you in 10+ People in each group which makes it so you don’t even get scared! We did not hurry up she therefore told us to stop and step aside to let people go past us that are keeping up with the speed!Very upsetting I told the manger outside how I felt and he said this is their policy and what they train the staff to do!Haunted mines employees were absolutely fantastic and told us to take as much time as we would like. Total opposite experiences!

Everything down to details was amazing we opted for the scary version (which it’s pretty Erie as it is) we did the Pen Escape room and it was a blast! Big thumbs down. I highly recommend haunted mines over hellscream 100%. Haunted mines splits you up into groups so you can actually enjoy your experience and not feel like you’re in a group of waddling penguins during their migration. The employees at hellscream were also a little rude and told us to hurry up and keep up with the people in front of us. Haunted mines employees were absolutely fantastic and told us to take as much time as we would like. Total opposite experiences!

First time in this haunted house and I got to say it was very nice. It was very long too the scares are intense! They follow you and touch you to even make it worse they even chase you if you run!! One thing I did leave with a bruise in the back of my leg the chainsaw guy touched my leg and it bruised it but it’s all good I had a great time!!

By far one of the best haunted houses Ive been to. Ive been to The Darkness and Lemp Brewery in St. Louis, and Hellscream supersedes both of them. We were a smaller group, 4 of us, which may have affected it. The few animatronics that they had were very effective, I personally think that fewer animatronics the better, they are too predictable. The actors were very interactive with us. Some would say Can we play a game? I would respond and they would always have a clever response, where some places people dont know how to respond to somebody not screaming. Very good haunted house.

We did the elevator escape room with the live actors and it was so much fun! They put so much detail into their decorations and it really put you in the atmosphere of it. Super creepy with fun and challenging puzzles. Barely made it out but it was so much fun. The live actors really got into it and made the experience that much better. I will definitely be going back!

I have been going to haunted houses for many years and I find haunted mines to be 1 of the better ones I have ever been to. Highly reviled attending it is even worth the trip from Denver!!!

We rented one of the escape rooms for a birthday party and the employees there were AWESOME. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and did their best to make sure it was a great experience for those in the escape room. If you need a different party experience, you cant go wrong with Hellscream Haunted House and Escape Rooms.

My daughter has been asking me to take her to an escape room for years. Finally, today, for her eleventh birthday, I managed to save enough money to book a time slot for her with HellScream for The Elevator escape room. My daughter, four of her friends, my boyfriend, and I had the time of our lives. The staff personalized the experience because it was our first escape room experience. I was very honest with them about my inability to deal with confinement and fear, given that my daughter chose the scary option. They were very understanding and offered me the opportunity to ease some of my concerns before entering! The whole birthday crew was given T-shirts when we finished with 3 minutes left on the clock!I would recommend HellScream 100% for your escape room experiences.
