One of four (and counting) dog parks (Bark Parks) in College Station which is fenced, clean and Human and Dog friendly. Lots of place for hydration stations for Bowser- but beware as it is also a retention pond for the City so after a rain it is muddy. A great place for your pet to be off leash and safe. There are even chairs for the human parents! Thank you College Station!

Great wide-open space for the dogs to run. Theres usually a good-sized group of responsible dog owners, especially in the evenings. Plenty of places to sit, available water, and a walking path.

This place is really popular around 6 pm, so its a great place for you and your dog to socialize. However, the park doesnt seem well-maintained by the city based on how sandy and worn down the park terrain is. It also doesnt have seperation for big dogs and small dogs, which leads to a lot of alterations. Overall, its convenient but theres room for improvement.

Its the best off leash dog park Ive found so far in BCS, but the bar is pretty low because theres hardly any other options. Basically turns into a swamp when it rains, and theres no separate small dog area. Its not huge, but its not too small either. Theres always plenty of water bowls. There hasnt been any altercations or fights while Ive been there. Coming from the DFW area where I had a ton of really great dog parks near me, this park is a little disappointing overall, but Im still glad it is here!

Great dog park. Has a dog wash outside the fence. An get extremely muddy during weather because it is also a flood pond. I have never seen it filled in minus the regular puddles.

Great park for younger kids, has swings and a play set, and a small pavilion with a few metal picnic tables. Also has a large fenced area for a dog park. Its separate and has benches inside, kids love to watch the dogs run. Only reason I dont give it 5 stars is because it does not have shade for the play set. But overall great park.

I love Steeplechase Dog Park and its community! My dog and I visit almost every day so that he can run around and play with his friends. Most owners are responsible, have well behaved dogs and pick up after their dogs. Theres always a few who can ruin the good dynamic with their aggressive or untrained dog, but the community there is serious about supporting and standing up for the owners of well behaved, friendly dogs. As a drainage pond turned to a dog park, it is prone to flooding and mud and the facilities arent very good, but the community makes up for it. One of the biggest problem is toys lying around at the park though, so its not a great place of you have a dog with serious toy or resource aggression.

I have a reactive dog so I take her and walk her around the perimeter of the park. There were four very well-behaved big dogs and their mommies were gracious enough to let my dog approach them at the fence. We are trying to expose her two other dogs without putting her or the other dog In Harms Way so we keep her on the outside. The park is always clean plenty of freshwater and nice grass for the dogs to run.

Steeplechase is probably the best dog park in BCS. It does not have the best facilities, but most owners are responsible and have well behaved dogs. Park regulars have an active Facebook page to coordinate doggy play time, have occasional special events, and discuss any problems in the park.Note that the park is park of the citys drainage plan. It will flood after heavy rain, but drains quickly. This also help clean out the accumulated poop from irresponsible owners who do not pick up after their dogs.

Dont have much to compare this to, but its just a basic, fenced in area with a raised walking track all the way around and a few trees along the outside. We like to bring our dog here because the people are friendly, we always strike up conversations, have never had a problem with an aggressive dog, people pick up after their dogs. I just wish they had some training course equipment then it would be perfect!

This park is decent enough if you dont want to go across town to the others. Its pretty small, and it does get incredibly muddy and makes huge puddles, but usually its fine. My dog is pretty small, and he gets scared when lots of big dogs chase him, so I dont think its as great as the other parks since there arent separate sides.

This is a great park for dogs to run around! It is basically just an enclosed grassy area on a hill, so if your dog likes to run and play fetch it is perfect. it also has a bunch of baby pools for the dogs to play in

The park is convenient if you live close by, but a lot of the dogs arent trained very well and mount/hump/play way too aggressively during peak hours. The park is great if you go early, but very crowded if after 4

The playground isnt shaded but the kids like the slides and there are two shaded picnic tables where you can sit and watch the kids. There are two baby size and two standard swings here. There are no bathrooms. The dog park is large and has a walking path around it as well as benches in the shade inside the fence.

Beautiful trail that gives people a couple of walking options, like an easy path and a hard path, and leads to a natural spring that feels good in the summer heat. Only downside is trying to find a parking spot.

Fairly large for a dog park. They have the capability to fill bowls with water at the entrance, but its kind of complicated. Also, it gets very muddy when it has rained, but the bright side is theres a dog wash station outside the park.

There is a basketball court, kids playground and dog park here but since Im single and childless, the dog park is the only thing I can honestly tell you about. Meh. My dogs love this place. The fenced in area is pretty large and quite a few times Ive counted more than 30 dogs. There is a narrow trail inside the park so you can exercise while your dog runs and benches near the gates just in case you dont care to. The only thing I dont really like is the awkward slab of concrete cutting through the path. People gather there and the alternative to stepping over them is traversing a (sometimes slick) slope. Otherwise its pretty clean and has a hose to clean your pups.

Used to be our go to place for our dogs, but it only takes one owner to ruin it. Our dog got hit in the head and the police refuse to do anything about it. Don’t take your animals here (or at least watch for a husky named Andrew and his owners). We’re sure as hell never going back
