This park is THE BEST KEPT SECRET in town! I fell in love the first time I took my daughter! It’s so quaint and cozy with lots to do including a full covered, nice, new playground, a pond for fishing with a cool bridge, lots of picnic tables throughout and more!

Such a pretty park we are fishing for bass. The ducks walk around the pond. Very clean and not many people. Great place to relax and fish. We havent caught a bass yet but we can careless. Great place to come to I gotta give it five stars. O yeah a great place to walk also.

This is a really scenic park at the right time of the day. This is a simple park with a fishing pond and some nice walking/running/biking paths. There’s very little shade and a few places to sit down. The cool part about this park is the ducks that hang out on the pond waiting to be fed.

Its a nice little neighborhood park. We stopped to eat some treats and share some snacks, we had a good time. The benches are clean and there are designated areas for trash. The only problem would be finding parking. We were in a rush, so we just parked at the side of the street.

Gorgeous, well-maintained park for a relaxing stroll, fishing, duck watching, or playing frisbee on the huge, open fields.On a cloudy day, the lake’s reflection appears like an Impressionist painting, inviting observers to drift along in its brush strokes.Around the lake perimeter, you’ll find a mystery—the long stretches of woody projections called cypress knees. They’re hypothesized to aerate roots and/or anchor the tree in soft and muddy soil. Pretty neat!

Such a cute place. Theres a little pond and a path to walk around it. There are lots of ducks and cute bridges. Perfect place to study, read, walk, or just enjoy nature

Such a beautiful place to go spend a couple hours. My girlfriend and I regularly go to watch the wildlife, this spring we were able to spot six bird nests, as well as a duck nest filled with eggs. Cant wait to see the little ducklings running around!

This is old family lake of my wifes grandparents. It was holic park when Fitch bought all the land and sold to city . Great fishing, play ground new, and pic nic and 2 ball back stops.

A quaint park very close to the campus. It has a small pond where you can fish. There are lots of ducks and mallards to make just your day. Also there are swings and other play things for children.

Its a beautiful and well-taken care of park! The tank is well stocked. The only thing this place doesnt have is bathrooms! Not even a port-a-potty in sight!

Its a nice park centered around a small pond where ducks swim around. Great for evening strolling.

I love this little park. Weve been visiting it since I was a little girl and its the perfect size for an hour of fun with kids or wandering around by yourself. They recently upgraded the play equipment and its fantastic! My two yr old loved all of the slides and climbing on the different paths.

I love this park! It is a little small and not fully gated which is the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars. However, it is beautiful, family friendly, and in a quaint neighborhood. They have a pretty pond, a decent size open field, and a couple of play areas for kid. Definitely a lovely place for a picnic!

Not a very big park.. but there is a pond and you can do fishing!! There are chairs all around the lake and a hige fountain at the center. People also bring their doga and play. There are ducks and geese also. It is bit cooler than outside cuz of the pool.

The pain was low of water in the fountain aint working no more whats the prettiest thing of Gabba Park the fountain in the Ducks, just the ducks now,,

Sizeable fishing pond kept in great shape, plenty of benches, 2 docks, 2 bridges, grills, and large open grass fields for other activities. Tucked away in a culdesac so you might miss it if you dont know it is there!

Decent playground, looks as if its being remodeled. Not a good idea for concrete under the jungle gym for kids. The pond should be cleaned of trash. Parents were allowing their kids to throw the pet potty bags on the ground which can harm the ducks if it blows in the water. People should be more respectful to public places but overall my child had fun. Nice atmosphere. Needs better parking

A great state park. I done some fishing here. They have four or five different kinds of fish here. And its handicap accessible, nice trails. And a nice playground for the kids. My only concern is that some people that were there with theyre dogs didnt have them on leashes and they werent picking up after the dogs. But some people think its a job for someone else to clean up after theyre dogs. It is posted that dogs must be on a leash.

Cute neighborhood park with a nice walking path and a pond with ducks. Great Cypress trees. It is especially fun when there is snow on the ground. The dog poop bags are sometimes empty so you may need to byodpb.

A great place for kids. Recently, play ground is renovated wonderfully.

This is a nice park overall from the ducks to the fishing. It has a playground and a walkout peer overseeing the pond. Definitely a park to check out if your in the area.

Fun little park for kids and dogs. Includes a fishing pond with ducks to feed. Only caught a few little fish out of it, but I know catfish and bass are in the pond for sure. Two big fields next to the pond for softball/baseball. Includes a playground with 4 swings. Overall a good place for a quick outing with the kids.

Amazing park- a great place to enjoy a nice day. Theres a big field if youre looking to play ultimate or soccer, plenty of trees to hang Enos, a nice playground if you have kids, and plenty of benches to sit down at. Theres also a big pond with some ducks- people feed them all the time. Overall just a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

Well, pond is down several feet, no fish but plenty of turtles. Parking on street only. Loose dogs, lots of plastic in the water as well as plenty of moss and plant life to snag hooks.Ok to walk around in, but not for fishing.

Beautiful park with a pond and a huge open field. Think Grass and big enough to play some full size Ultimate Frisbee and cook out after.

Really nice! Only downfall is no bathrooms so really anderson park or wolf pen are a better option if you have little ones.

I absolutely love this park. Nice place to take your dog, children, date, or friend group. Plenty of open space to play fetch, frisbee, or whatever game. Theres a nice pond to go fishing, feed the ducks (dont feed them bread by the way!), or just enjoy it and people watch. This past fall, I went and saw at least 12 Mississippi Kites using the park as a migration stopover site. Pretty cool watching them at dusk.

The park is good but maintenance is bad

Relaxing park. Very quiet and serene. Playgrounds for kids, fishing pond, ducks to feed, walking trails. Big trees to nap under. Only reason I did not 5 star Gabbard is because there is no restroom there. When you want to spend the day at the park, you dont want to pack up every time to leave to store restroom.

Cool park. Quiet, well maintained. Nice little walkway around it. Very short though.

Looks like a nice park, Ive never been on the grounds of the park, just pass it going to a friends house. See quite a few people using the park.

This park is small but beautiful. It has a pond with a fountain. People can do fishing here. Its better to visit this place after sunset or before sunrise.
