Great place to walk trails, picnic, or play. There are plenty of wide open spaces or tables, restrooms, benches....so much to do!

The park is clean, trails are well maintained, and very dog friendly. I take my large dog for a walk here at night and have never had any issues. The side walks are large enough to let dogs pass easily. There are no bag stations however, there are a good number of trashcans spaced nicely. Walking the western portion of the trail is great as they have every quarter mile marked. I have not spent much time in the east portion so I cant say much there. However, from the other reviews, it sounds like it is well maintained as well. Overall come take a stroll if you havent already.

It is quite a beautiful park. I like to walk around the amphitheater and look at the water. It has a great open field where you can play pretty much anything. And there are public restrooms that are normally pretty clean. The only thing is theres not any tennis courts or basketball courts. But its a perfect place to go jog or walk or just enjoy the day. Very good for Pokemon hunting too!

One of the largest city parks not dedicated to sports fields. Two major path systems exist in the park, one is part of a larger multiuse path connecting Wolf Pen district and the park. The smaller paths are also multiuse and are excellent for running and walking. There is plenty of open space for group and individual workouts or space to relax. Events are hosted by the city throughout the year.

Miles of running trails, playground for the kiddos, tons of open grass space for picnics, frisbee, etc, and a creek that holds bass, crappie, and channel catfish for the fishermen. A great spot to gather with the family. It has a bit for everybody.

Plenty of parking, many functional drinking fountains, well-maintained, trash cans & picnic tables, interpretive signs, - even an outside covered picnic area in front of Sonic where you can order & have delivered a meal or snack right on the trail. Open 20 hours a day: closed 1-5AM (per the signs...).

Beautiful place at night. Lots of dog walking people. Lots of biting bugs on the trail behind the amphitheatre. The pond around the amphitheatre definitely needs some serious cleaning. Also the wooded area near the trail has trash scattered here and there. The water fountains do not work as well. Overall very good place for a walk at night when it is not too hot outside. Remember bug spray if you place to spend some time on the trail. The other open field is relatively clean on the other hand.

This is not just your everyday meandering trail by the creek for it is an opportunity to take in some rare wildlife, fauna and fresh air while educating yourself with some fun facts as you stroll. Plenty of benches, water fountains and chances to leave the trail for a more adventurous, rewarding, and lasting memory of college station await you. Simply step between the ferns for a kiss under the mistletoe before daring to go over the embankment to another world of seclusion, privacy and the sound of babbling brooks. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked for you may see beavers, otters, or even a rare gecko from the Indis or hear the hoot of an owl at dusk. Perhaps, if you wish upon a Lone Star you could get a glimpse of a rarely viewed and secretive flying squirrel.

This is a large park that you wouldn’t expect to find near Texas A&M but it offers trails for walking your dog or just getting away from the stress of College. A few times in the year they will have events here (one of my favorites is Worldfest). There are plenty of trees for hammocking but also plenty of open area if you want to throw a frisbee or play fetch with your dog. I have seen kids bring large pieces of cardboard to slide down the slope they have in front of the amphitheater in what appears to be Texas’s answer to sledding down a snowy slope.Overall this is a nice park to get away from the hustle and bustle of College Station. While not totally away from shops and apartments, the park does offer one breathing room and a sense of serenity.

As you can see the cell phone lights were twinkling during rendition of Faithful. Fun evening and it was free!

It is a beautiful park with a creek for kids to fish in.They have concerta there in the summer on Saturday nights featuring local bands usually. They did have the Marshall Tucker Band there live about 5 yr ago. The free concerts you are allowed to take in an ice chest . Alcohol can be brought in in cans. They do have concessions. Just bring your kids, lawn chairs or blankets. Sit back and enjoy the music while the kids play around you. Summer concerts in the park is great for the whole family.

Love walking through here; it is nice and usually very peaceful. I dont like that theres an intersection in the middle of the hike/walk, but it makes it longer, so I can deal with that. (I start the walk at Fazolis and go through to the other side nearer to the mall.)Lots of trees surrounding the trail nearer to Fazolis; less tree cover, but theres a nice lake on the other side of the trail (across from the mall) in the main part of the park. Nice amphitheater at the lake. Ive been there plenty of times for concerts and parties. Very nice place overall.

Overall very nice park, i personally think the baseball and soccer fields are quite nice. I do think the most used area near the water (fishing area ) needs a little more work in the way of it gets a bit dirty. I would add some more trash cans around the park and possibly recycling bins next to each trash can. Last of all i would give the maintenance staff a A++ on friendliness , I drone their sometimes and they came up to me and ask to see what it could do and to me the way they did it made me feel quite cool as they where interested in seeing their park from a different perspective in which i like and is one reason i try to post photos for them.
