Cool place but the disc golf course is murderous for discs. They will go in the water at some point

I love this hidden gem on campus. Its got water features, tall trees, bridges, shaded areas, and lots of animals. Just today I saw a baby snake, a salamander (I think), a bunch of turtles, ducks, some kind of heron, and of course the campus squirrels, just in the span of 45 minutes. The sidewalks are in a curving fun loop and I usually do about three full 8s and get about 5,000 steps in. There is also a disc golf course around it, and there are people playing occasionally. I have organized several picnics here, sitting in the shade on lush grass right next to a babbling brook, but mainly come for exercise. Its a good place for a photoshoot, hammocking, picnicing, exercise, and just general enjoyment.

This is an amazing scene on Texas A&M University College Station campus. There are beautiful camping areas and grounds for outdoors activities. There are walking and biking trails. It is also accessible to those who choose to drive.

The park is very beautiful, however, A&M should invest the park and make it a little well mainteined. The park is very close to HarweyMitchell therefore you might notice a little vehicles and road sounds. You can see water snakes min 60” tall going on the water. However, there are limited parks for disc golfs this is the one and has very hard poles.
