A truly outstanding park. There are baseball fields, soccer fields, playgrounds, basketball court, tennis courts, volleyball courts, a pavilion for picnicking or events, a historic schoolhouse, walking and running paths, and it’s right on the bike path that goes along Lake Champlain from Burlington to the causeway. A great place to visit if your in the area. I live in the area and have enjoyed it for thirty years. It’s always getting better and the Town of Colchester Parks and Recreation crew do a great job of maintaining this jewel.

A very nice park. Lots of baseball fields and open spaces. The pavilion is a great place to have a picnic or get together. Being directly connected to the bike path makes this a great resting point before continuing on to the cosway. Plenty of parking, and a super fun playground. Only complaint is that there can be limited shade sometimes, but it really isnt much of a problem.

Seemed like a nice park conveniently located along the bike path. Its a great place to stop and eat lunch or go to the bathroom while on your bike ride. They also have recreation fields where you can play ball and enjoy the weather. It seemed very clean too

I love this park. Between the changing seasons and all the different areas to explore it always feels new. I love strolling down to the bog with my dog. We follow the shaded foot path around the park for a comfortable walk on hot days. There are benches along the path as well as trash & now recycling bins. Theres a public bathroom in the front and during nice weather theres a port-a-John in the back. You can follow little foot paths through the woods (all kinds of neat vegetation and crazy mushrooms during wet weather - I took pictures of 18 different kinds one day!) People generally clean up after their dogs and themselves. Theres a couple of nice quiet areas for picnics. I suggest bringing water for a dog. Theres a bubbler in the front of the park but its way too far for my Boston Terrier if its really hot, plus its for people so awkward to scoop handfuls for dogs. They have family friendly movie nights in the summer. Tennis courts, horseshoes to the side, a basketball court near the tennis courts. Several baseball fields and soccer fields. A playground by the sports fields for the little kiddos. Spacious parking lots (it does fill up quickly once baseball and soccer starts). Theres a rentable gazebo if your having a reunion or party, its covered so no fear of rain. There are tables with benches in it and a couple of grills beside it. Its a beautiful well maintained park.

Beautiful, huge park. Great place to hang or have some functions with generous parking. I was here for a half marathon starting point. That said, come prepared. The closest store for quick convenient items is about 1.6miles. this hindered my plan a little bit because I was shuttled to this location and there was no water on site. Not a big deal just something that people should be aware of to grab your stuff before you get there :-)

Very nice park, but watch for the seagulls they perch on the roof of the povilian and steal your hot dogs (Out of the pan!) when your back is turned to get the buns... Grumpy at the time but an experience that will be remembered :)

This park has a boardwalk that lets you view Colchester Bog, a huge and important wetland right in town. There are some neat and unusual things here such as special bog wildflowers and pitch pine, which is rarely seen in Vermont, especially in wetlands. The sandy forest around the bog area has some nice oak forest as well. You can also use this park to access the causeway which is a popular birdwatching area.

Nice place but Town of Colchester has taken an extreme, reactionary stance out of unsubstantiated fears and false perceptions and has banned all drones from its parks. Even silent tiny educational/toy drones that wont hurt or disturb anyone. Its ridiculous that this safe, fun, and educational STEM hobby cant be enjoyed by children and their parents here!

The forest around the park is haunted because every time Im there in the dark or at night, I start to see spirits roaming around. There are some bent trees around there. And I see people lying around on the ground sometimes. Then, I see dangerous snakes appear out of nowhere. And theres also a bridge that leads to nothing in the woods but moss and swamp. The trail is also really bumpy. Sounds they should name the trail Point of no return.
