I really enjoy the escape rooms at Puzzle Effect. We just “The Reel” and found it to be rather challenging. Definitely needed some hints to keep the game moving along. I liked how the game masters were following us closely and helped if we really needed it. The Reel had a great look and feel to the rooms!

The escape rooms are well thought out, the staff is wonderful, and me and my group of friends had a lot of fun there. We even set the fastest time for one of the rooms. They are one of the few locations in Fresno that accept walk ins. All in all, 10/10. Keep up the good work.

Ive only just recently taken an interest in escape rooms, but of all the escape room businesses Ive visited so far, I keep finding myself coming back to Puzzle Effect. They have a knack for making rooms with puzzles that are challenging but very rewarding, and the people there always seem genuinely invested in making sure you have fun. Definitely would recommend to both newcomers and seasoned veterans alike!

My family and I tried out the Amnesiac room and it was fantastic!! It was challenging but sooooo much fun!! We took a guest with us who had never been to an escape room and he had a great time. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming and we bought a few games to take home. This is one of the BEST rooms weve done and I am looking forward to going back to try the other rooms!! Thank you Puzzle Effect for showing us a great time during this pandemic!!!

Best place for group activity. Time passes by so fast you really need to look at your time. Highly recommend this place!

My family had a great time. Perfect for kids, though not toddlers. Very interactive and definitely not easy. Puts your brain to work. We will be going again. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Our family went together. Our 4 year old got in for free. We tried the Crimson Tide. We had a lot of fun trying to open up all the different locks. We were given several clues as needed. We didnt find the treasure in time, but they let us stay longer to find it and eventually we did. Whole family enjoyed the experience.

This is a super fun place to go and do something different than usual. The puzzle was hard but a really good time with friends!!

Puzzle Effect is so much fun! Ive been twice with my parents and both times weve had a blast. The rooms are creative and well-designed – lots of fun surprises in each one (I was really impressed with The Reel, a movie-theater themed room.) The staff was great about clearly explaining all the rules and offering hints when we needed them. Theyve got their covid-19 protocols down pat. We could sign in on our own phones using an app and there was had sanitizer in all the rooms. I will definitely be coming back again in the future.

It was fun . Needs to be a little more realistic, but you can only do so much.with a game .. but it was fun .. I think IF you solve ,and get out ,you should get some kind of a prize ,something, Maybe half off ,next time .to give you incentive to came back ..

Been there three times and had a great time, but the last time was a little aggravating. My girlfriend and I had done The Reel prior to, but since we didnt finish the first time we decided to try again. Second time comes around another day and were plowing through the room - given already having done majority of the room the first time - until we reached a part where we have to insert a number (no spoilers here, dont worry ). We inserted that number correctly, roughly 5 or 6 times, but the room wasnt allowing us to proceed to the next stage. We probably wasted 7 - 15 minutes on that phase of the room due to Puzzle Effects faulty mechanism. It was a bummer. We got an apology, but we left feeling ripped off given the wasted time that was a result on their end. Made us realize that this ER isnt for us. :( anyone who hasnt checked it out definitely should though.

Amazing time in the Pirate Room. So much fun with the boys. One hundred percent will come back for more rooms!

By far my favorite escape room place. Ive done all the rooms and love the themes of the rooms and friendly staff.

We did the Cinema room and did not complete the task in the allotted hour. The final two to three steps ended up being a little obscure for us to solve. Overall very challanging. Well definately go back and attempt another room.

Had a great time with our group of 5. We were at the very last clue when we ran out of time! Bummer. The staff was great and Tristan was a fun host. We will definitely return!

The staff is lovely; very friendly and excited for you to be there. The puzzles in the rooms are clever, but doable and the difficulty levels are just right for the time limits. More than thinking outside the box it helps to be vigilant as most of whats in the room will come into play at some point. Great for families, as there are no scares and the only intensity is from the time limit. If you like puzzles, youll have a blast!

I recommend this place to be the first place you try your very first escape room. The only bad part of this place is that there was not enough rooms. I love this place because of the kindness and how fun they made it. We sadly finish all of their rooms. Other escape rooms aren’t the same.

We had fun! I just wish the price was lower. Especially for 2 adults and 2 kids. We would go back sooner with a lower price. Thank goodness for the clues and extra help along the way!! We made it with 26 seconds left. Great late night activity.

This was a very fun experience for me and my nine-year-old daughter. It really challenges you to think and communicate to solve the items needed to complete your mission. We had a blast and will likely return soon.

Celebrated our sons 13th birthday with his friends, everyone had a blast! The puzzle kept everyone on their toes and using their brains. The room for the party was nice, pizza was great and the entertainment from Alexa was a bonus. Highly recommend! Well be back!

Came in midweek, pretty slow day which was cool because they had a special price going in. The room staff was prompt to help us and gave us clear instructions. We did the crimson tide room and it was really awesome. It was pretty difficult compared to other escape rooms I’ve done, but the hints were helpful enough to get us along. It was clear the staff wanted us to have a good time and they made it a point to make sure we came out alive. We were on the last puzzle when we ran out of time and thankfully when they saw we were on the right track they let us finish!!!! It would’ve bugged me for weeks if I wouldn’t have completed this, so if anyone on staff is reading this. THANK YOU!!! Will recommend and will come back as well!

This was my + my friend’s first time ever at an escape room. This place was awesome! Staff were super friendly and helpful, even though we were the latest possible booking (10 pm-11 pm). Guy at the front explained everything to us, and had us get some hand sanitizer before we went in (good practice, especially right now). We chose the Crimson Storm room which was pirate themed and it was so cool! The clues and decorations fit perfectly with the theme, and the staff were very helpful with clues, as we had some trouble a few times LOL. We didn’t break out, but we were one puzzle off from finishing. There was one lock that was giving us a particularly hard time even though we had gotten everything right, so the staff came in and helped us and gave us extra time! Super awesome people working there. Was definitely a great experience, and we will be coming back!

Ive done two out of four rooms here and Ive had a blast every time! I cannot wait to do the other rooms with friends. I highly recommend this location as you are bound to have a lot of fun!

Really a cool idea, I like the name puzzle effect more than escape or whatever. There is no escape, its all about solving the mystery within one room. Very very cool, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and made our time fun.

Terrible, wasn’t even offered a free game after we had a broken room and was told that it was never fixed after not finishing with the right lock combination

My son, my husband and myself went to Puzzle Effect in Clovis today. We found the entire experience to be a wonderful event beginning from the check-in experience to the check out experience. We chose Crimsom Storm escape room as we had no previous experience and it was listed as a “beginner” experience but also a bit tougher. We needed the several clues they had to send us, but we managed to “escape” with 49 seconds to spare. We found the experience challenging and entertaining and we would definitely come back for another escape.

The staff here were AWESOME! Went with my friends, and we had an awesome time. Even set a new record on one of the rooms, while playing ALL of them in one day. I highly recommend Pipeworks, then the treasure ship, and finally the Casino Heist in order. Im looking forward to my next visit when I vacation in Fresno again. Props to the team as well!

A very friendly escape room in Clovis. My daughters and I did the pirate-themes Crimson Storm, and had a blast (and came just one clue away from escaping. Arrrgh!). The room was very well-done and authentic. Military discounts available.

A great place to pass the time. This was my third ever Escape Room. I have done another in Fresno (Which was horrible) and one in San Francisco (Which was amazing). This location was very clean, up to date, and very friendly staff. The room itself was great and very interactive and the clues (For our room) were challenging yet not overly difficult. The one and only criticism I would say is the room was rather small. We had the max 6 people (3guys, 3 girls) and it was crowded at times, especially when we were all trying to help on one clue. We did Escape with just over 5mins left so hooray to that. I would definitely recommend it to others. The cost was $162 so not cheap but none the less its what you can expect and again it was a good time.

I went to this escape room with my boyfriend and lets just say that the staff members are really friendly... one of the girls named Courtney tried talking to my boyfriend and it made me feel really uncomfortable because I did not want to start something in that moment of time. But the activity was really fun, we did the Crimson Storm and it was very tricky to find our way out. Id recommend going, but leave your boyfriend at home :). Thank you for the experience!

I had been wanting to check out this place for a while and I finally got the opportunity to go for my birthday. The staff was wonderful, the room was extremely fun (me being a puzzle buff) and I honestly had the time of my life. The best part about it though was after we finally finished the puzzle room, my boyfirend and my best friend, of 8 years asked me to marry him. This place will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Got together with family for my Birthday and did the Crimson Storm. It was absolutely amazing!! The staff were fun and upbeat, not overwhelming. Very fun, harder than we expected. The employees there were very friendly and helpful. They explained everything very well before we got started.

Once I got there, they welcome me and had me sign a wavier/information form. All of the workers there are friendly and easy to talk to. Very fun and enjoyable. It was interesting and fun. Put on your thinking cap and enjoy.

We went for my husbands birthday and it was so much fun. Loved the challenge. This was my second one but everyone else’s first n we did pretty well. Didn’t make it out but we with 5 more minutes we would have finished. The host was great n super friendly made sure to explain everything. I recommend this for anybody it’s a great activity.

Fun and exciting! The staff know what theyre doing and are really good storytellers when youre about to enter the rooms. Its a bit on the pricey side, but its well worth the experience!

Been wanting to do an escape room for a long time with my kids and finally got them together on Mother’s Day. Had so much fun!! We did the Knight and Rook Investigations. Was perfect, not too easy and not too hard and when we would get stuck we were given clues. Staff was very friendly and seemed like they enjoyed what they were doing. Fun, worth it! We had a large group of 9 and did the competitive and yet also collaborative rooms with the steam punk power outage something or other. The guides were really nice, they gave clear instructions, they do give hints if you happen to get stuck on anything. Place is clean, puzzles were well designed and parking was easy.

We had heard about Escape Rooms but had never participated in one. There were 8 of us that did the Pipe Works at the Fresno Escape Room - and we had a lot of fun! Definitely plan on doing another room with friends! For a fun 60 minutes, would definitely recommend Fresno Escape Room!

Had such a great time. Went with my family, ages 14 to 41. We got to work together as a team to escape the room. Cant wait to go back and try another theme. The staff member that helped us, Jessica, was awesome!!!! If you have never done this it is a must.

Went here today to start off a bachelorette party with five other ladies. We finished with 15 minutes to spare thanks to a few tips from the lady in controls (thank you lady, I wish I could remember your name!) All the ladies working were enjoyable. An absolute wonderful time and experience. I had never went or viewed any “escape rooms” before, so I was completely new to the whole thing. It was a lot of fun, enjoyed working together as a team to solve problems, and the puzzles were just right. I would highly recommend this type of entertainment if you like working as a team and solving puzzles. Staff was great too. If you do go, make sure NOT to watch any videos or anything to spoil the experience. You’ll only be ruining it for yourself.

We had a blast! There were four of us and we booked the CashOut room. It was a mental challenge and so exciting! Staff was very friendly and welcoming and we had so much fun. Our 14 year old teens loved it! It was such an adventure! We definitely plan to go back.

Great experience! Staff was VERY friendly. The puzzles were challenging but not overwhelming. Occasional music would play to break up the silence. When clues were given, a sound of thunder would occur (we were on a pirate ship), thus the feeling of the scape room was never broken.A wonderful time and I look forward to my next Escape Room experience!

Fresno Escape room is always a treat. As an escape room veteran, I can say that they stand out for their immersive decor, challenging puzzles, and awesome staff. 10/10, would escape again.

My group and I went there for the first time and it was really fun. It is a great way to bond with friends and families. We were so close to win but times up hahaha.
