Good, quiet, tucked away place to go for some frisbee golf. Or to just go and relax. Some people fish. Some people bring their off road toys and hit the trails. Some people, like my self, just go to get away for a while. Good place to go take pictures as well if you are in to that kind of thing.

Every time I visit Clovis I enjoy taking a drive out here. This is a really nice place to go for a jog, a leisurely walk, or just enjoy the silence. There is fishing in multiple ponds, adequate play/picnic facilities, and plenty of hike and bike trails. Living in a large city, I have few opportunities to see a starry sky due to light pollution. Ned Houk is a great place to go and see a star-filled sky at night that isnt far away.

Its a large park for large gatherings or small gatherings. Was really nice. Not a park to just take your small kids, but if theres a celebration as well its nice. ️

My favorite place in Clovis. Love to go out there for walks or play some disc golf. You can see wild Turkeys and Buffalos out there. Great for BBQs!

My family just Loves this park because we really do have alot of fun and its together as a family....Heres just some of the things you can do:Theresplayground equipment, fishing,walking,playing some frisbee golf, dirt biking, 4 wheeling, barbeques, picnics and so much more..

What a great place to let your kids run. Restrooms were very clean and safe.

Uncrowded even on a Saturday or Sunday with numerous people there! Beautiful landscaping and pretty lush for a dry region.The only drawback that Ive noticed is no running water from any of the fountains I checked...

Amazing park!!! Great place for the kids, campfires, camping, volleyball, football, you name it! Check it out if you are new to the place. Theres also areas for dirt bikes. Great fun

Had a wonderful time hiking with our two dogs. Saw lots of wildlife, Mule Deer, many different species of birds and butterflies, lizards, a bull snake even a dung beetle! The scenery is very beautiful right now from all of the rain, lots of blooming wildflowers. Wear good sturdy hiking shoes as the terrain can get rough, some areas of the trail were washed out and rocky.

I really love coming to this park over others in Clovis, NM. Just make sure you bring water because none of fountains work.

Always loved it here. Before I was 18 I got arrested here, though. The people I was with had alcohol and parked here after hours. I had no idea you werent allowed after a certain time. I think its at 11:00 pm.

Huge park with multiple ponds, playgrounds and picnic areas and a well maintained disc golf course. Easy to park, plenty of space.

Great place to host a bbq or a get together, lots of trees to provide shade. Bring insect repellent for the mosquitoes.

Ghetto. People throwing trash everywhere doesnt help. Park workers could earn their pay by maintaining the park also. Be sure to bring plenty of drinking water with you. And your own port a potty.

Great off road trails

Took my family with the dogs and they had a blast!

Great place. Front areas well maintained. Back area hiking/horseback riding/dirt bike trails are not maintained as well as the grassey areas around the ponds. The trails were covered in tumble weeds.

Miss this park grew up going here

Tons of fun! Two large areas with multiple playgrounds, cook out/picnic areas, fishing ponds, a basketball court, and a disc golf course (all free!!). The dirt bike/horse/walking trails at the east end of the Southern section are a real hidden gem. Just watch for snakes when its warm. Also, there is very limited cell phone coverage as most of the park is in a valley.

This is a nice place. Plenty of trees and shady areas, fishing, ducks, couple ponds, and dog friendly

Beautiful, well-kept park with many playgrounds for all ages, plenty of fields for activities, great area to run and exercise, and picnic areas all over. Love taking the kids here to play for a few hours.

Litter everywhere. No working water fountains. Disgusting port a potties. Most of the people (off road vehicles) are disrespectful and dangerous. The botanical garden is a disgraceful joke. It states it was funded by the state forestry and Im sure that money went directly to someones pocket. Sad.

Lots of space for kids and pets to play with ponds to fish in and areas to BBQ. Bathrooms are in very poor condition and in kept.

We took my grandson fishing. We were able to sit in the shade and caught several small catfish. There are several picnic areas, a frisbee golfcourse and great play areas for the children.

I have yet to see any of the rattlesnakes that the signs warn of, but I am sure it is just a matter of time as I explore the trails in the back part of the park. Lots of trails for bikes, hikes, horses, or OHVs as well as playgrounds and fishing opportunities.

The disc golf was epic

It was calm ,relaxing and had a great lake to fish at but there was no fish and there was bugs but overall it was a nice experience

Usually go here to take the kids to the playground, of which there are at least 3, or to ride my dirtbike on the OHV trails around the park. Not particularly challenging trails but fun to get out and ride. Probably better for ATVs most of the trails are pretty rutted out. Also great place to come play disc golf or have a large group picnic.

Not to far ass walmart is a nice place to sit away far everything. Peaceful and quiet.
