What a great place. The set up is awesome. Upper and lower deck. 4 bars. Quality food and drinks. Friendly staff. Couturious security. I seen 5 live bands back to back. Place is very stylish and has amazing art and lighting. Great view from the stage no matter where you chose to sit or stand. My first visit here and am looking forward to seeing more live music. A gem in the heart of downtown Cleveland. Thanks for having me.

Hot food, cold beverages, and live music......makes a fun night. Place was busy as soccer and the baseball game ended about same time however friendly staff were able to seat us. Had the Cadillac margarita.....delicious! Food and drinks were on point all night. Definitely a good stop especially when live music is in the restaurant.

Great place to see a show!! Plenty to do nearby while you wait for your show, or head upstairs for some good food and friendly times. The only reason for a 4 star and not a 5 was the price of the drinks. 11$ for a beer and 15$+ for a mixed... A bit steep, but somewhat understandable. Still knocks that 1 star off for me though.

Ordered a screwdriver at first and tipped well, but it literally tasted like drinking rubbing alcohol. Not the biggest fan of the way the venue is set up with the stage. Ive been here a few times. But this review is specifically for when i went to see The Word Alive. They sounded great. Amazing band. Also ate at the restaurant and that on its own was 5 star other than a little slow(but its in the heart of Cleveland so thats okay)

My family and I had a wonderful time because of a couple of great employees last night. It was my eight year old sons first real concert, Hanson. My son loves music and plays the drums. We happened to be standing next to some pretty, I guess you could say aggressive fans. He was overwhelmed and I almost thought I was going to have to leave with him. A security guard name Jason was like a knight in shining armor to him. Adam was another security guard that made us feel safe and comfortable.there was also a lady that worked there also, I just didnt get her name. The night ended up being fantastic and memories that he will cherish forever. He loved the show and is going to be rocking out even harder now. Thank you guys again

Went there to see Hobo Johnson. One of the best nights and shows of my life. So happy I got to go. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is because the bars refused to serve us until the rest of the crowd was allowed in. We had early entry and there are no seats so if we left after everyone else came in, we would have lost our place by stage. I wasnt risking my good position for a drink. So the bar missed out on a lot of money by refusing my friends and I. Also one of my friends ordered food and they never actually made it. She paid for it and checked on it twice and they kept telling her it wasnt ready.

There are many of these scattered around the US. This is about the Gospel Brunch only. Different than the one in New Orleans, mimosas are extra $, as is all alcohol. You get a pitcher of OJ and coffee at your table, but you have to walk to the bar for everything else - yes, even water! Odd choice, but thats the deal. Chicken/waffles and ham/biscuits were good by buffet standards. Omelettes might be a better choice, as they are made to order, then put on your plate. The gospel band on our Sunday was on the way but not stellar. Sincere and energetic, they had difficulty warming up the house. They could have used a real bass player, instead of the keyboardist trying to make do. Pitch confidence was high from the vocalists. These ears would have appreciated more female vocalist feature. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves, and would probably go back.

We went to do dinner and a show afterwards, a work friend was in one of the bands. Basically you have a restaurant with a somewhat intimate performance area for live music acts. They execute the concept very well and its one of the best places in the city to get up close and personal with the artists in a way that you just cant get in the larger venues. The food was a mix of staples; burgers, brisket and ribs and such. Portions were generous and the many staff and servers were polite and professional. Shout out to Mike who really made my darling Bride and I feel special by escorting us the back way thru the restaurant to the stage area, VERY cool! If youve ever seen the good fellas scene where Henry and his date enter the night club you get the idea. Great Friday night date night destination. Highly recommend.

This is such a great location especially for visitors to Cleveland that have never been here before. It is a nice size venue for watching a band perform but yet not too big to make it overly large. Cool vibe but drinks were NYC-level prices. We had gen admission tickets, which we learned on arrival were standing only. Recent visit to see Belle and Sebastian with openers Men I Trust (who were AMAZING). Stopped in to the restaurant for dinner first - pleasantly surprised to have a really good meal. Nachos (suggested by server) were quite good, as was the fried chicken sandwich. Service was efficient and friendly, and out drinks were empty for only moments before another cold beer was brought to us. We asked for a specific table which I know screws up the server rotation - at no point did we feel that we inconvenienced anyone and this request was happily accommodated. Server asked if we were there to see the concert, and when he found out we had VIP tickets he quickly brought the individual responsible for coordinating this to our table. We were provided our passes and given information about how to get to the venue from the restaurant. The concert venue was intimate, with good-not-great acoustics. VIP section comfortable with outstanding service. Restroom facilities were clean enough, but why the creepy attendant? (Personal pet peeve - I cant stand someone handing me a towel or shilling candy or cologne) I am someone who looks askance at chain restaurants or places like this, preferring independent clubs and restaurants, but the professional manner of all staff, the quality of the food, and the fair prices will likely cause me to strongly considering another evening at House of Blues. Excellent experience!

House of Blues Cleveland is a great venue. Small enough to be close to your favorite bands but still have that big city feel. I took my son and daughter, who are 16 and 14. Because it is indoors, it was nice not to have to worry about subjecting them to any unwanted smoke. I dont mind when its just me, but not them. The venue has a good vibe to it. Great view from wherever you stand. We went to see Bowling for Soup and Less than Jake. The show was amazing! Food is available, but I didnt want to pay $10 for a gourmet grilled cheese. But hey, youre in Cleveland, theres food everywhere. Id go back for sure.

Dont Take Your Anger of the Staff Out on the Artist!1. There are two VIPS for HOB. One is from the artist through VIPNation and the second is through HOB on their website. The HOB only gets you in before GA, but doesnt include meet & greet, so those people still get the front! Make sure to double-check this!2. Have your VIPNation email ready. Our email said VIP entry at 5:30 pm. The security guy was told VIP entry at 6 pm (which is the same time as the HOB VIP entry!). We showed him our email and he talked to the check-in people. They let us in at 5:40 pm... we were almost screwed out of our $150 VIP experience!3. If you thought other VIP m&g are fast, there were 50 people who had the artist VIP. Ive been to other concerts and Chris knows me, so we were able to have an actual conversation, but if this is your first VIP, consider bringing items to have signed to try and lengthen your m&g. Dont bring a sharpie though... the security guy took my friends sharpie.... but Chris had his own so it was no problem.Hope this review helps!
