Wow, absolutely loved this place, it was our first time, but will definitely be back! Excellent placement of bathrooms, playground, water, etc within walking distance and supervising the grandkids

This park is magical, a piece of heavenHas water fountain for kids to have fun for $5 cash only (clermont residents). Playground with slides and swings. Sitting area with benches for potluck or family share food/ birthday parties.Amazing jogging and walking track for exercise.This park is not like any other park fun there is endless.

Great recreational area with a big and beautiful lake. The lake has redish water that as you go deeper in the water gets darker. We even thought like cokenor coffee...there is sand likena beach and there js also grass. It has dmall parks for children. You can see boats and jetskies. Water is shallow and it is great for young toddlers. We had a fun day at the lake.

Seems like a nice place to lay out on the sand or to take the kids to the splash park & playground. However, be careful where you sit as sizeable ants fell from the tree; two members in my party got welts from ant bites. Also, the lake water was too brown for our comfort. We primarily visited so some of us could go fishing, but there were no catches.

Great for some family time. Outdoors, fun for the kids, areas for picnics, boating and even small beach.

Great place to swing on the swings late at night and early in the morning. There is 24hour security both marked and under marked car(s). So no funny business. Safe happy environment. Makes you feel more closer to your community(even though central Florida is the worst place to live and the worst cesspool of human beings in the world)

Cool area with plenty of space to social distance. There is a beach are, boat launch, and some socks to fish off of. Water looks kinda red/brown, but thats from the ink of the cypress trees, completely safe to swim in. And, you might even see a row boat go by!

A wonderful place to relax have a picnic or dip im the lake. Plenty of parking whether you biking reading a book or just taking in the beautiful scenery. Has a ramp for your boat and a small water fountain for the children.

Parks kept clean, restrooms on property. Beaches are open, splash park is open.Dont plan on fishing from pier, fish arent venturing that shallow. Water is stained almost no visibility unless high sun and polarized glasses due to all the tannins in water.

Such a beautiful trail and nice facilities. Multiple parks, a beach, public restrooms, a splash park ($2 fee), restaurants, plenty of space, and close to a great downtown area.

Very nice place to exercise, beautiful views and have an awesome water zone for kids buttttt the only thing I didnt like was the lake it looked brown and i dont know nasty. But alot if people were enjoying a dip in the waters lake. Great place to bring your boat or jetski.

Amazing place no fee parking. Sand beach,you can walk ,ride your bike ,run , if you want to swim its ok too. Relaxing place.

Great place to boat and jet ski as its a large lake and it connects to a few other lakes. Theres a little beach area for people to relax and swim and a park for kids. Really clean and all around nice place to visit.

The best place ever we have a splash pad in my city but I travel all the way here to Clermont just for its clean peaceful atmosphere. The gates splash pad is a plus! And the cherry in top. Is the lake such a beautiful view for you adventures

This is a great place for families or when you just have to get away, manicured lawns, restrooms are clean, play areas for little ones,watersports, fishing, frisbee golf, swimming at your own risk , the water is red I think its that way because of the trees thats around the lake. Picnic tables bandshell, has a Rangers station on site. Has wheelchair access. You are able to walk, run, jog and best thing its a 31.2 mile loop. A great place to get together and have a fun time. There are restaurants along the way. Check it out

Wonderful place for the entire family. You can kayak or take out your boat. Theres a playground for the little ones. The lake has a beach like area. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower area. You have nice shaded areas for picnics. And best of all the South Lake Trails run through the park, with a 25 mile expansion for biking, running, and walking.

Always a great time. Whether relaxing at the beach or going for a walk, I love this park. So happy to have it. Its clean, people are friendly and there are multiple areas to hang out with friends or family.

Lovely little park on the lake with a clean, shallow beach swimming area, great playground, pavilions to rent and a cool splash pad for the kids. Run by City of Clermont. Very well-kept, family friendly spot. Also a perfect spot to take in a sunset over the lake, or hit the walking/bike trail.

Road hour bikes through the park on a bike ride along the South lake trail. I had not been there before and was quite impressed at the beauty of the lake and the facilities provided there.

Waterfront Park is one of many City of Clermont parks open for public enjoyment. There is free adequate parking and is located along the bike / pedestrian trail. The trail can be busy with many people including those walking from parking to the beach so be careful! The water is generally calm and shallow. The beach is mostly sand, but does have increasing areas of grass. Picnic tables are available, but personal grills are not allowed. Bring charcoal if you plan on cooking out. Also, dogs and other pets are not allowed on a majority of the beach. You have to go outside the swimming area. The park also boasts a splash pad ($2/person), a pavilion, basketball court, public bathrooms and a playground for the young ones.

An Awesome place for walks, biking, swimming, events and food. There are public restrooms, playgrounds, trails and piers. If you want to sit on one of many benches to enjoy the lake, watch the water, enjoy the birds, enjoy the weather or enjoy the sun and breeze, this park offers all of those pleasures. The sunsets are beautiful and also an excellent date walking spot, getting to know you spot and loving the company spot. The only potential issue is, pedestrians are not always kind to cyclists. The walkers and dog owners tend to hog the trails... Check the internet for local sporting events as well. This park is well worth a trip for the entire family.

This place is beautiful and I just hope the weather is nice on Halloween because that is where Im getting married.

Love it. However, swimming areas are great but I was concern there is no life guard and no signs regarding alligators. After all, this is a lake in Florida. Parking is great. Love to see children having a good time. My grandson had a wonderful time.

First time there nice but it was windy and cold so didnt stay long will go back

This is a great park. Theres a popular long paved bike/running trail that runs through it, and the lake and large oak trees are beautiful.For kids, a playground is on the soft sand at the edge of the (swimmable) lake. Theres a big splash pad and basketball court.Theres fishing piers, picnic tables with grills, and open grassy areas, where there always seems to be some event going on.Clean bathrooms (I think with showers even), water fountains, nice covered picnic area...walkable to a cute restaurant, Lillys on the Lake.There are people out doing so many different activities...families playing..students doing sports/reading/hanging with friends... people out exercising, walking dogs, you name it. Feels very safe and peaceful.

Waterfront Park is home to the SLAP Tri Team. a local group of athletes of all abilities! Saturday mornings are a bit busy with training but theres bathrooms, lockers, and the poles are right there to get a good swim workout in!

Beautiful places to take photos or relax with family. There’s a fishing pier, you can lay on the sand for a beach feel, they have a playground and a splash park for kids.

Its a pretty place with a pretty view. A cute splash pad with only a 2$ entry fee for the little ones and a small playground as well. A small beach area and a pier as well. Very peaceful.

Very peaceful and clean. great for Moms with small kids with a park, bathrooms, and splash pad all within the same vacinity as the beach and Parking.

This is such a cool venue. I went here to run a few times, and I appreciated the frequency of bathrooms and drinking fountains. I also took note of how litter-free the area was, like a little oasis after all the depressingly excessive litter accumulating on Floridas roadsides. I noticed that people along this trail are friendly, even if they arent doing the same activity - walkers say hello to runners, cyclists say hello to walkers, etc. On Monday there was a free dance class on the plaza, which seemed really awesome. Everyone was having a blast.

Beautiful view, breezy, nice area but the water is super sketchy. Lots of PokeGyms and PokeStops. Great area for Raids. But it smells horrendous if you get too close to the water (algae scum) so stay away from it. Gators and water moccasins occasionally spotted. No idea why anyone would swim in that water. Its baffling how many parents allow their children to swim in water that foul. Its like theyre hoping their kids catch some kind of parasite.

Beautiful lakefront park with a freshwater Beach, clean facilities and a playground for the children all along the bicycle and walking path..Theres also free play basketball courts and a splash pad for the kids.

I love this place. Its free. Theres a public bathroom that has showers. Theres usually a spot in the shade if you go on a weekday. The weekends are busier with more children, so I usually go during school hours. Its just a nice place to go and spend time in nature. The water is usually cold, so its refreshing. They have a playground and a small water park. I believe the water park costs money. Not sure. They also have 2 basketball goals. Then theres the trails for walking, biking, and skating. Look both ways before crossing the trail!!!

I discovered this place by chance and I loved it, it is an excellent place to spend a day with the family

It never ceases to amaze me the beautiful places in Florida that exist off the beaten path. Florida has so many gorgeous places that are free that do much more for your well being than any trip to a theme park.I had no idea this little beach was here on the lake on Clermont. It reminded me of the old days. Children were actually playing Im the park and on the playground. People were on the trail walking or jogging.Folks had their feet in the sand. Someone was even swimming across the lake. A couple was playing with their one year old daughter and another elderly couple just sat together on the bench and watch the sunset. Then you saw the fellas out fishing in their canoe. It was beautiful.There is a splash park that was closed until Spring but this place was all abuzz with people enjoying life! I didnt see one person stuck in a cellphone, just people enjoying the outdoors. I was so enthralled, I didnt take more pictures. This little gem is a must see if you enjoy the simpler things in life.

Beautiful lake shore and boardwalk. Great to bicycle although not yet completely round the lake. Very wide bicycle paths.

This is one of the most amazing places I have been to in a long time. So much to do here. Swim, bike, water splashing pad, park,jog,walking paths. Place is kept up and there is security if you go during the day. We even saw the school cross country team training here.

Its beautiful! They are really fixing it up and it gets nicer each day. The beautiful blue water and sand. Very nice walking trail that goes for miles. Plenty of spots to sit and even have a nice lunch.

We picked up some local food and had an early dinner in the park. The park resides on the edge of the lake with a hilly neighborhood overlooking it. We found a picnic table under a big shade tree to enjoy our meal.

Excellent park! Its very clean and friendly people! The playground was for smaller kids which was great! My aon loved it and its right by the lake which looks very nice!

My family loves this park! The beautiful view of the lake while swinging makes a quick trip up there so worth it. We just wish there were things like we see at some other parks like a special needs swing, more days and extended hours that the splash pad is opened, and more seating - perhaps another pavilion. Clermont continues to grow, and we think the park should be growing with it as well. Other than that, it really is a great little spot for the whole family!

I love that this place is free!! My wife and I went here to relax and sit on the sand. It was just beautiful to watch the sunset and the water reflect the light. You have to check this place out. We wanted to go to the beach but it was an hour and a half away. This was just 20 minutes so we went and didn’t regret it.

Its a good place. Just always crowded and not enough for kids they have one little dinky playground. And usually have kids waiting in line to even use it. On top of that there should be more vendors around there to buy things from if you want something you either pay 5 dollars for a drink or you get nothing. I would suggest putting in a few local vendors and a actual good place to eat right there instead of down the street.
