One of those FL hidden gems. Very quiet little town with a cute museum. You learn a lot with the tour guide and it has all presidents of the U.S. A huge white house replica with every detail you can possibly imagine. I think its great for kids to learn. My favorite was the 45 wooden presidents hand carved surrounding the W.H. replica.

I didnt know of this historic museum until I saw Traveling Robert from YouTube visit here. Its about 37 mins away from me. I had a great time learning about the White House. I just love history, designing, and architecture. This place didnt disappoint. $15 will get you an annual pass.

This is a much more interesting place than I had expected. There is a lot of presidential memorabilia all throughout the museum. It was quite warm inside what with it being mid September in Florida. But the AC could be felt in spots and they had fans in good spots to stop and cool down while checking things out. I could see myself returning in the future and Id recommend it as a nice side trip.

Really cute Roadside attraction.Huge Mt Rushmore replica that was recently power washed. Looks great. A presidential Motorcade car is there too. (It could use some TLC) You can also check out the Obama bench that looks out over the hills of Clermont. All these are outside and accessible for FREE.I havent been inside recently (minimal charge) but it had some animated presidents and display of items from each administration, like plates etc. It is also home to the Miniature Whitehouse. It is a scale model down to tiny tiny silverware. It tours the country. I saw it at the Smithsonian in DC and the JFK library in Boston. Its a cute place to stop on your way to Lakeridge Winery that is a few miles north on US 27. You can also go up tge Citrus Tower for around $3 and see for miles. It has bells that ring on the hour and plays music and is right next door. Its a unique shopping complex that also has a BBQ restaurant, a Jewish Studies center, a spa, a video arcade.

Place is a little old, but it was very interesting. Admission is cheap enough. some videos, period clothing, historical campaign items. The thing I found most interesting was the huge model of the White House with the cut away into the rooms from the back side. You could see all of the furnishings in the master bedroom and all the other rooms on three floors. After visiting you can walk to the Citrus Tower and take a ride to the top.

Very Informational! Very Historical And Fun! The Staff Was Nice And The Prices Were Very Reasonable. No Bathroom, A Bit Outdated And Crowded. Needs To Organized, Updated, Clean On The Inside And On The Outside. The Parking Lot Was Very Small And The Mount Rushmore Model On The Outside Was Rusted, Falling Apart And Looking Not Good. The Place Is For Sure In Need Of A Revamped So It Will Look Good Again.

Wow, totally worth your time and money. One of Floridas great roadside attractions. This place is kind of small, but completely packed. Its absolutely charming, albiet slightly creepy. For through the years, the wax figurines of presidents past have grown slightly weary of their posts here and indeed look it. But they have other stuff in this place like a cast of Lincolns real face and, of course, the crown jewel: a mind blowingly detailed miniature model of the white house. If you like history or America, this is for you. I dont want to give away too much, I hope youll visit.

The Presidents Hall of Fame was neat. It was cool to see the white house minuture and the different oval offices. My 6 year old loves history, loves George Washington and really wants me to take him to South Dakota to see the real Mount Rushmore.I think it was overpriced. I think that the mini Mount Rushmore should be cleaned and the presidential car shouldnt be just left to rot in the hot Florida sun.I think if they lowered their pricing, and marketed to bring in visitors theyd ultimately make more money, and help bring American history to her people.Overall I think if youre in the area or are going on a trip and going to pass this and you enjoy history, and American history, you should stop in and visit.

Br
Review №28

It was over priced . You have a guide for the first half of the visit then you on your own. The wax or mannequin presidents were not very recognizable. It was very confusing and unorganized. Out dated. I think it needs a very good cleaning and arranged better. If they would expand the place would be a big help.

My wife and I visited this place while visiting Orlando, Fl. We planned to drive around on the weekend and found this hidden gem. The gentleman that was there was very knowledgeable. He informed us on some of the history of the place and showed us around, then let us roam the museum on our own. He would pass by and ask if we had any questions. They have so many things from our past Presidents. They have two documentaries running which are both very interesting. The model of the White House was awesome, they way each room is laid out. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is in the area.

Stopped at the Citrus Tower on our way from West Volusia to visit family in Groveland and saw this place from the top. After talking with the Citrus Tower ticket master we decided it might be a great place to take my husband’s mom since she loves the Hall of Presidents at Disney. We walked over and as soon as we reached the door we heard the door lock click and saw the ‘closed’ sign swinging on it’s tacky hook. The sign indicated they closed at 4:00 and it was 3:54. I knocked on the door to see if someone might answer so I could get some info real quick but no one came. I get not wanting to get stuck at work an extra half hour or more but in my experience hiding from potential customers when you have a small business doesn’t make the best first impression, especially when the first one is made by an old parking lot scattered with dirt, statues in need of some repair, and a Cadillac left sitting exposed under the paint and vinyl destroying sun with oxidized paint and flat tires behind plastic chains, which was kind of sad because according to the sign next to it the car was used during the presidencies of Ford & Carter.

We visited the Presidents Hall of Fame in Clermont Fl in February 2018. It was a neat museum and we enjoyed touring it. The displays were interesting of the white house and the various rooms inside the white house, among other displays. Overall the place needs refreshed and more lighting or spotlights. Perhaps because of the limited amount of space the displays seems to be crammed. Also the car on display outside needs refurbished if they want to continue to display it. The tires were flat and it needed a good wax. We were disappointed that we were charged the full amount of admission, and were told we could not see the movie because they closed at 4pm (which we didnt know). Would I recommend this? If you have a large party, I wouldnt recommend it only because its a little pricey. If the place was refreshed and improved it could be worth the experience because there is some neat stuff inside.

I normally dont write reviews, but I had to share...went here today and found it to be an eclectic, informative, and curious place. So much history is crammed in one small place in such a unique way. I was astounded by the miniature White House display, as well as the extra touch our guide, Joy, had in sharing all about the history. Wow! So glad we went. Be aware that this place does show its age and is not a huge or modern facility. But it certainly has its own measure of charm and is worth seeing at least once.

Wi
Review №62

It was like boring. There was only one person attending the place and every time the phone rang or someone else came in, she interrupted the explanation she was giving. She also did not accompany us throughout the tour and put us a long drumsy video. I thought there were not enough signs identifying the areas and those who do not know the history of the nation may not understand by just seeing the figures, models.
