Disc golf players know this park because its one of the best courses in the area. The first nine meanders through beautiful, majestic oaks. The second nine is open but water looms on almost every hole. There are six extra holes which I didnt play. It is nice park with a walking trail that is shared with disc golfers. When I visited we had just had several days of heavy rains but the park was surprisingly dry.
Very challenging course but super fun! Course is well maintained. Good luck keeping ur disc dry
We love this park. My husband and I walk our dog Bernie through there every Sunday morning for the past 10 years! It is such a beautiful walk. Full of wildlife and nature. Beautiful specimens of trees to observe. We actually bring our day old bread and feed the fish. Turtles and any birds that swoop down to join in the fun. . I would recommend this park to anyone. Now that the summer time heat has come upon us it does get very hot. So, if you want to do the whole thing you should start very early in the morning. But, like I said most of the walking trails are covered with trees for ample shade.ENJOY ♡♡♡♡THE ARMSTRONG.
Could be cleaned up a bit, bit still very nice area
It is a good park for frisbee golf or just walking around!
Beautiful park, but lots of Frisbee golfers... great walk too!
Love it and even more now that I am night riding
Saw ducks, turtles, fish and even a baby gator while walking through, nice place. Even a frisbee golf course
Great course. Best signage for DG Players
Really pretty park. I come for the disc golf course, which is in my opinion one of the nicest in the Tampa Bay area. Park gets a lot of use from walkers and bicyclists too.
BEAUTIFUL TRAIL! Nice Gulf Course! Canoe setting!
Beautiful park for walking, biking and possibly rollerblading. Tucked away and feels miles away from the surrounding area. Many picnic tables overlooking a stream with bridges. Very picturesque park, highly recommended. I didnt find a playground for kids though.. if thats what you are looking for.
This Park has been my saving grace, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. My daily walks with my little dog in a natural setting giving me a sense of normality and much needed peace ️
Alot of people and the bugs are horrible. Dont like the trash in the ponds an lakes where their are alligators and turtles and fish and more. Needs to be cleaned up .
Great place for a picnic or to play the pretty tough disc golf course.
Love this beautiful park, lots of great walking trails through nature. There is a really fun disc golf course which is a lovely way to get some exercise.
Good park, nice disc golf course. Lots of water hazards though so gotta be at least somewhat skilled.
Great place to disc golf. Pro shop nearby for all of your needs.
Absolutely love this park, everything from the very peaceful path, to the plethora of trees to the convenience of availability of parking spaces in very close vicinity. The park goers were very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, so much so that we got great suggestions that exquisitely complimented our tour. Personally my experience was very humbling and satisfying. Super great selection of willow and oak trees particularly on the west side of the park. The frisbee path and competitionwas a very good touch plus the dog friendly areas are a definite plus. This was a very humbling and appreciative experience because it allowed for the individuals who are ardent about the service they provide that keeps the park looking great to so many different cultures to stand out by acknowledging the importance of their sacrifices that shows that they go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver the best customer service experience possible. These individuals deserve the best praise and accolades because they define their worth by raising the value they bring to customers by treating every customer concern with the same enthusiasm, attention and thorough care as if it’s their personal concern. For that we are super satisfied with this Clearwater experience we received and highly recommend Cliff Stephens as a 5star rated park!
Always a joy to play at worth the hour drive!
Nice park with long holes. Quite a few lake shots so be prepared
Great place to walk and see birds
One of the best disc golf courses around. Home of Ken Climo.....one of the worlds best. From a fellow disc golfer from the 80s who was at the 1st disc golf tournaments in Cincinnati, Ohio; and Huntsville, Alabama (incredible forest-like course) PDGA # 2945.....I think....somewhere around there...and still have the discs!
Amazing disc golf park and just to walk around. Built by one of the most historical professional disc golfers
Best disc golf park in the area!
Love this disc golf course. Challenging enough for people that have played, but still fun for beginners.
It was fun.
Enjoyed a short bike ride
Easy gulf access
Love this park! Beautiful walking trail
Beautiful and clean park.
Clean well maintained pathways.
Classic disc golf. Beautiful park and part of of the Ream-Wilsob bike trail. Be sure to check all the paths and scenery
Not a bad park. Great for riding bike with family or a walk.
Gorgeous park. We even saw alligators.
Great place to get outside and do whatever you please
Nice park that has a cycling trail through it, huge disc golf course that spans at least 2 parks. The water is meh at best, there are bass but relatively small amount compared to the hundred or so pleco that eat the water foliage.
Excellent bike trails. Picnic area. Wetlands.
Disc golf is fun and I like beer
Peaceful stroll along boardwalk through ponds & vegetation with wildlife.
Nice frisbee whoops, Disc golf course along well know bike path. Very relaxing.
I absolutely love this place!Going there with my son daily!
Great disc golf course!
Except for the Sunday morning drone-head get together, it’s a lovely park with a beautiful river running through it with lily pad-type plants floating around.I could just really do without the darn drones. They remind me of war. And that’s not helpful when you’re trying to chill in the park and listen to the birds. If they made drones sound like birds or crickets, they would be more widely accepted. Ha ha. Not really.I’m an expert on the social impact of drones. Not really, but I have thought about it quite a lot and the bottom line is: no drones except for certain extreme situations that we would have to research and study with the persistence of those giant penguins that hang out in way, way below zero weather keeping their humongous egg warm for 3 months.I have the brains and the looks, so we’ve got that covered. We would need to have the clarity of mind of a cave-dwelling monk in a Siberian winter. And we would have to be clever and shrewd like the red fox hunting on a sunrise-lit golf course in South Florida. “Fore!”
Frisbee golf park. I am new to the sport and this was the first place I played. I found it to be a good challenge. A lot of the holes have two places to tee off at. Some of the holes are along the water so it is a little nerve-racking throwing your new disk down the course.
Beautiful peaceful. Watch out for the 9 foot gator
Nice little getaway in an decent neighborhood. The disc golf holes are basic but still a lot of fun! Watch out for the water hazards!!
Great disc golf course. Watch out for the numerous water hazards. If you do lose a disc check out the local disc golf store as people regularly return lost discs there. Also behind hole 16 are a few hidden holes for the more adventerous player.
Loved it the park was beautiful
Nice place to relax. Id like to see a few more places to sit with backs on them for older people.
Needs a bathroom, It would be Perfect otherwise .
Great Park for biking walking walking your dog and for frisbee golf beautiful park
Awesome place. Peaceful and pretty. I saw a crocodile for the first time in my life.
One of the best disc golf courses in the area.
Great little park to take a walk with or without a dog
Ive never been here. Is there any good cliff diving spots. I have no other opportunities for an adrenaline rush and never cliff dived before. Id like to try it.
Easy access, nice bike trail connection to Safety Harbor and/or Courtney Campbell
Beautiful trails, frisbee golf, bridges, flowing river teeming with action. So relaxing.
Parks closed still? Why not post and say all parks are still closed.
Nice park but so many frisbee golfrrs
40 years here. Great place to live
Im an outdoors person so it fit me good
This is a nice park for disc golf or freshwater fishing. They have two docks to fish from, but it is also nice to walk out there for the water view.
Awesome disc golf course. Still one of my favorites!
An awesome place to walk or bike.
Beautiful park with frisbee golf.
Such a terrible disc golf course. If u like buying new disc this is the place to go.
Good for family time
Nice.CleanQuiet.
Great place to start walking or biking the Kapok Trail.
The disc golf course was great. Last couple holes were a little ridiculous with how long they were, but overall it was a good course. They have alt tees and I think even alt baskets. Has a lot of water hazard holes. One of my friends ended up losing 2 discs. Not getting in that water to get them. Too dangerous.
Great set of 18 holes, but there is water hazards just so you are warned.
Nice park to run and play Frisbee golf whatever that is
Good park for a picnic, fishing, or frisbee golf. Very clean and very basic.
Very nice place for relaxing, walking, jogging and hiking while youre getting a great view.
Wildlife and walking pass there is a disc golf course plenty of parking and picnic tables
One of the best Disc Golf parks in the Clearwater/Tampa area. The holes are clearly marked, and the course is insanely fun to play. The grounds are clean and well kept. Hole 10 over the lake is a legendary pin, one of the hardest shots youll ever make. Even Ken Climo himself plays this course. Dont sleep on it, you wont regret making the trip out to play here.
Beautiful park and a lake, bike paths and frisbee golf.
Great disc golf course!
Great disc golf course!
Great little park. Not much space but pretty quiet.
My favorite park to throw a disc and take it all in. Been going there for years.
The city of Clearwater does an awful job of maintaining this park. It used to be awesome all they do is cut trees. There is debris everywhere signs are dirty it is a typical lazy run operation. So sad
One of my favorite courses. Upgrade in maintenance. Challenging holes. Beautiful park
