We took this dinner cruise to celebrate my daughters 21st Bday. Felt they did a good job with current pandemic. Very prompt departure. Food was amazing and decently priced. The entertainment (female singer- name escapes me ? Roberta) was very good.Our waitress was Meredith and she was very upbeat. Cruised out of the Bay into the ocean a short bit and then returned. 2.5 hours total. Would definitely do again.

I never knew this was so cool! I visited alone and had a great time! The evening flew by! Great food..elegant atmosphere.. Sunset from the top was amazing and the lights along the coast were beautiful at dark!

All staff was excellent. Cruise was nice. Buffet has bad reviews on Trip Adviser so I wasnt expecting much however, the food was delicious and not bad at all. Free Run Punch, wine, beer and Pepsi products. All in all we had a great time.

So I booked for lunch dining special with birthday package for my wife’s birthday. We enjoyed cruising time. We were on cruise for about 2 hours and 15 minutes. As we are vegan we didn’t had enough food choices in menu. The birthday cake we got was good but could been better if they would have given me choice of flavors. Overall good service.

Our friends had their wedding today on this amazing hidden secret. I had no idea this was here. The food was incredible. My wife had the Bourbon Beef and I had the Chicked Cordon Bleu. Both were cooked spot on. The scenery was breathtaking and the venue was perfect for the wedding. I will be taking the dinner cruise again with my family soon. I cant put into words the complete experience. I hope the photos can do it some justice.

Fun! They do a great job. The food is surprisingly good. The blackened fish is actually really great. The music can be a bit too loud for old folks, but its a fun time. Weve been on a couple of cruises. One sunset cruise and one private party. Its been a great experience. Were scheduling it own private party soon.

We went in January, and it was chilly, but beautiful. The food was excellent! And very reasonable- I was pleasantly surprised.

Was so excited to try something new and celebrate my best friend wedding. When we arrived the boat was old but doable. Drinks and food was horrible. Service was nice. Not worth what they were charging per plate. I would not recommend this place. Thumbs down!!

This was the hilight of our family trip. The weather was perfect, the food was fantastic, our server was top notch and the lady singing sounded like Karen Carpenter she was amazing!

Place was amazing. Had a fabulous time and the DJ was on point with the music selections and shout outs. Loved how the captain and crew greeted you while entering the ship and when leaving. The only thing that was negative was the womens bathroom, it had a horrible odor. But overall great experience.

We didn’t want to spend the extra cash so we went with the Calypso Queen and I honestly don’t think it could get any better than that. The food was amazing, the waiters were by far the best we’ve had in a very long time, the boat was comfortable, the views were awesome and the DJ was very good at his job with the songs picked. We had a blast and the whole family enjoyed every minute! Please if you do this, pick the Calypso Queen!

The boat is very nice and really well kept. I was impressed and happy with how clean the windows were especially since the views can be appreciated from inside while eating. The seating options and views outside on the deck are perfect!The table settings are high quality and were meticulously placed.The staff was warm, hospitable, welcoming and professional. Monica served us and was on point! Great job Monica! Thank you!The DJ was great and had an awesome inventory of music and a great line up of well loved tunes and took requests as well. She loves her music and was engaging, as she drew guests out to the dance floor.The food was surprising! It wasnt at all below par but rather delicious, and the serving sizes generous. The bread, the oil and spices for the bread, the salad, the bone in pork, and blackened red snapper were all fantastic! My fish was a little dry and the pork a little too salty for my wife (I thought it was perfect).The time given on the water was not at all short. We cruised around for about 3 hours which was plenty of time for conversation, appetizers, dinner, dessert and dancing afterwards.Overall, I give an A+. Great job Starlight team!

Boat was nice, but the overpriced food was not even hot when it came out... The DJ didnt play the good dancing music until it was time to get off the boat . I wont be returning.

To get to the point we ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. The appetizers were a beef Wellington and spinach artichoke dip. The Wellington meat varied from tough to overly chewy. The pastry itself was undercooked and slimy inside of it. The dip was good. Our entrees were the chicken spinachi and the vegetarian medley (cant remember the correct name but its not worth the fuss) the chicken was decent and the spinach was good however the rice tasted like it was out of an uncle Bens box and lacked literally any flavor. the green beans didnt have any seasoning. The veggie plate was horrendous. Huge chunks of vegetables to the point it seemed almost sarcastic -a quartered onion for example. with zero seasoning. I think the only seasoning on top of the veggies was the grease from other grilled meats. The sauce on top was lukewarm like it was microwaved and then tossed on top. Our night ended with a slice of cheese cake and I think that was the only decent thing we ate.I honestly feel like were on a taping of kitchen nightmares because the manager is up singing on stage.

I enjoyed my romantic and fun night out with my husband. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was more than I expected! The staff was very courteous and helpful, the DJ played really great songs and go every dancing, and the overall atmosphere was romantic and light. It wasn’t crowded at all, only the first floor was almost full so we got to explore the second and top floors. I LOVED the top deck to sit out there in the open and watch us cruise around looking at all the beautiful houses. The food is very delicious, worth the money - DEFINITELY. I will come back again and I have spread the word on how great of an experience we had!

This was a fantastic experience! What a perfect way to end a day of bike riding and beaching. It was worth it to pay a little extra for a window seat. The cruise we went on takes place at sunset nightly and you can opt out of dinner but I would not recommend it. It was so worth it! While you dine in the style of three courses, you get to enjoy scenic views of the inter-coastal water, which is extra stunning at sunset. The environment is classy and features a lido deck which will allow you to get great photos from any side of the boat, and take a smoke break if need be. The food was great, outside of our appetizer. The Beef Wellington wasnt cooked correctly and I could hear Gordon Ramsay screaming in my ear as I tried to eat it. Everything else was delicious and filling. I highly recommend ordering a bottle or two of wine as well. Our server was named Tara, and was very friendly and attentive and also provided top level service. She even went out of her way to come and find my group as the food/drinks came out. You will walk away from this feel very glad you decided to experience it. I will definitely be doing this on my next trip to Clearwater Beach.

It was really quite nice and Im surprised the food was quite good and my wife and my daughter and son-in-law went and we had a pretty good time nice window seat service was pretty good. We will go again .

The entire setup from start to finish needs to be revamped. An employee calls me to remind me to be at the boat at 530 (Sunday) because boat launches at 6. Why? So I can bake in the 87 degree full sun and wait in an outside line? DUMB! Are you telling me you can’t put up an awning to protect your customers? How happy are the women watching the make up run off their faces and their hair sweat ? Why bother getting ready? I saw a couple walk in at 5:55. No line. No wait. No sweating. After that pleasurable experience, the service was HORRIBLE ! although I believe it was just our waitress. Our table and 3 others of hers got wrong drinks, dinners, missing appetizers. Terrible! She would disappear for 20 minutes.. Could not get water refilled? It’s a cluster to pay your bill and leave. Can’t even get your own drinks? I have to wait 30 min for the terrible waitress? Unbelievable. Never again. I wish I could get my money back.

We booked StarLite for a work event for about 25-30 people . This was way beyond our expectations. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was very good. We were surprised how good and plentiful the meal was. If anyone wants to see dolphins then this is the only one I would recommend. Thanks again guy for such a Amazing day.

This was my partner and I’s first time on the dinner yacht for my birthday and wow! It was absolutely amazing, from the food to the music and service, I highly recommend this cruise for any occasion. The full moon made it a lot better as well! I used Groupon for a deal and although you do need to pay for the food, included with the entre is a cheesecake per person, bottomless bread, and a salad (although I did not enjoy the raspberry dressing they automatically put on). I will be coming back!

The server treats you like a number and not like an individual. The food is not bad overall, but a bit overpriced. I was hoping for my cruise to be over at the halfway point.

It was a great day. Temperature was super comfy. Inside the ship it was a little chilly. Paid for the guaranteed window seat, but I felt slighted in the end because the ship wasnt full at all. No refund for that. It was such a light load of customers that they ended up thinning out the wait staff. Staff was super friendly. The Captain was knowledgeable. Lots of things pointed out along the way. Most of which I had no interest in hearing. A bit of silence was welcomed.My wife and I both ordered seafood. The salmon was great and the tilapia was also tasty.It was a very laid back atmosphere.Its the same thing as the dolphin cruise, except no dolphins and you get lunch.

Took my boyfriend on one of the starlite sunset dinner cruise (I believe it was the sapphire cruise?) For his birthday and it was amazing! The food was delicious, also a very generous amount. The service was very good and friendly. The only thing is I wish they would advertise to dress semi-formal because some people were very casual and it is worth the semi-formal attire. The ride lasted about 2.5 hours. There is music and entertainment. Lovely experience!

We went on the dinner cruise out of clearwater. It was delightful! The ship seemed well kept, the servers were very friendly, and the captain was great! We ordered a few drinks, they were well made. Not the best but they were good. We ordered the pita with the spinach dip, it was excellent! We ordered dinner and I ordered the chicken marsala with rice and a side of steamed vegetables. This is why i only gave them 4 stars. Ive had frozen chicken marsala dinners that tasted better. The steamed vegetable was asparagus. Overall, I would go again. Oh, and the music was awesome! Plenty of variety and all fun! If youre wondering what to wear, there was a wide variety there too! Anything from suits and ties to tee shirts!

Wonderful from start to finish. We are vegetarians and the kitchen prepared a 5 star stuffed pepper plate for us. Fantastic as well as the fresh buffet salads. Service(Thanks Tom-our server-VERY attentive and friendly, as were all) was also 5 star from boarding to disembarking--where they offered fresh baked cookies on the way out. A VERY relaxing 2 hour cruise. We will be coming back in the summer for my wifes birthday.

Very disappointed with our experience! my husband and Renewed our Vows of 15 years, we are not from Florida travel we across 5 states to get there!!! I was told that I could not have the anniversary addon experience because there where other people on board celebrating their Wedding, which could have been a sharedCelebration for everyone, and we didn’t have a window seat which when we got on the boat we did have a window seat! The waitress was very rude and I informed her that I had water dripping on me from the ceiling, she nor did anyone fix it or move me!!!!I was the last to be served and the food was cold and not good at all!!! Paid over $900.00 with this company and my experience was so horrible.If I had known it was going to turn out this way, We would have not choose this company.

This Cruise Starlite seems it lacks consistency.I have been on 3 in 3 years.A company event yearly.There is a dance floor on second level but the music is down stairs.This boat lacks many things.I will be encouraging the company to arrange our yearly event somewhere else.

The staff was accommodating and pleasant. The food was good. My only issue was the music was loud enough to really enjoy and dance inside or on the top gate.

We went on a Starlite Cruise last night from Clearwater and loved it! We got a Groupon for half off the cruise price. I wasnt expecting to be able to eat because I have multiple food allergies but I was pleasantly surprised that they worked with me and were able to customize a few items for me to eat. The food was good and our server was attentive. For the most part, the music was good and enjoyable. The only thing Id change was that the DJ, whos in a booth right at the front where everyone can see, was dancing a lot by herself and it was awkward. Regardless of that, very fun experience and would recommend it to friends as a fun date or group activity.

Very pleasant experience on Valentines Day special dinner cruise. Four course meal with a DJ, dancing, night view of Clearwater and keepsake champagne glasses. Service was very good, friendly, attentive and quick. Cruise was sold out, so plan ahead for special events like this! With a very good menu they are compatible to any good restaurant. A must do!

Our family of four cruised on the calypso queen in Clearwater on a sunset dinner cruise on Monday 7/29. The service was great, food was very good. The voice of the announcer throughout dinner annoying (general consensus). The was music on the 2nd tier was fun-good music & vibes. Top level of the boat - outside - which is where you want to be when the sun is setting had too much cigar smoke and the music was at a very low volume. When the captain was asked to turn up the music, he actually turned it down - his actions and the negative vibe and the endless cigar smoke really ruined the atmosphere on the top level. People thinned out up there - kinda sad for a “sunset” dinner cruise. I did let the supervisor know and she apologized.We chose this cruise instead of the others b/c of the decent price for dinner and cruising the area - however, would not recommend this cruise if this atmosphere remains.

Great Quick Getaway

Absolutely atrocious experience. First, we bought a groupon, which guarentueed a window seat, but when we got on, we were on the middle, where it was awkward trying to look out, because it felt like you were looking at people actually sitting by the windows. Manager could have cared less that they didnt give us what was a guarentueed, and didnt even have the customer service skills to apologize. Very unprofessional.We did wander the decks which were beautiful and had beautiful views. At that point we were brushing off the seat issue. Which would have been fine but...I ordered the Pork Ossobuco which came cold and raw in the middle. How a pork shank that is supposed to be slow cooked for a long time is raw in the middle is beyond me. That there ruined my appetite and my night. I couldnt even stomach anything the rest of the night because of the bite I took. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his chicken marsala though, but it seemed to be a small portion for the price.By that point, being stuck on a boat felt more like being imprisoned than what was supposed to be a nice, relaxing ending to our hectic vacation. Then we were stuck after we redocked because the manager needed to take my meal off the bill. The manager who didnt even bother to come and apologize. It became apparent the manager doesnt care about the customer experience.Steer clear of this cruise. Just dont do it.

The saving grace for this cruise was the bottle of wine we bought was decent. This is a sit down dinner cruise that is best suited for the elderly. All parties on board were for 60th and 80th birthday parties. The DJ played music from the 50’s-70’s era. The captain zig zagged the boat in the harbor for 3 hours- sights that can be seen from all of the hotel properties. We were looking forward to seeing the coast line of Clearwater at night. Fail.The food is mediocre at best...think bad wedding food cooked in mass quantities aka plates buffet food.If you are a young couple looking for something to do, this dinner cruise is not the option for you.

Thanksgiving dinner was horrible, food was cold and Turkey was out of a can! Pies were doughy and under baked. Never going on this boat again!

4th of July firework cruise on Calypso Queen was a good time. Dinner buffet was good and bar servers table attendants were friendly!

This was my first time on this dinner cruise and probably my last. The ship was nice and clean, the food was very good and big portions. It was nice to dress up for an elegant dinner, but I guess our server Travis didnt get the memo about good service. We ran out of drinks many times and when we finally got his attention it took us asking at least 3 times to get refills. My father in law had to go get his own water. It cost us well over $250 for a party of 4, so I expected much better service.

Chris the server was aweful. Had to try and get him just for a refill of water. Only cared about one of his four tables. Never asked if we needed anything until we got our check. Dont order mix drink. We got two different ones and had not one drop of alcohol. My daughter was not carded when she ordered her drink and she looks like she is 15 or 16 yrs old. Food was not tasty. Only thing was a beautiful sunset. Could have gone on a sunset cruise without the rudeness and gone somewhere for dinner and probably would have saved money and aggravation. I was there to celebrate my daughters birthday and she did not enjoy either. Extremely disappointed.

Magical. The view and the sunset was great. Music alittle outdated but picked up towards the end. Drinks were awesome and not too pricey.

Our experience would have been perfect if it wasnt for the karaoke dj. She thought this was an audition for a tv show. She sang most of the night, then played boring music for 2 children who danced. She had technical dificulties that were never repaired. Meanwhile, it ruined many peoples experience. She begged people too get up and dance, but continued to sing.The captain, food, and service was excellent!We trusted that Starlite world have a professional dj for such an important event. We left hurt and disappointed.

Had a very nice time on the dinner cruise. Food was great, service was good considering how busy the boat was for the holidays and we had a party of 12. Only wish the dj played a better selection of songs, we only made it to the dance floor twice in the 3 hour boat ride.

Spoke with customer service rep and lady was beyond rude!! She was sucking her teeth and huffing and puffing when I was speaking to her. She really sounded like she hated her job. Then he had the nerve to say hurry up when I told her to give me a second so I can ask my mother when should I schedule for her. Horrible customer service hopefully the service is much better on the actual boat than hers. I am so disappointed on how she treated and spoke to me. It was truly disgusting how a customer service rep can speak to a customer that way.

We had reserved an entire deck and had 75 people. Due to an accident (not us) closing the road and being stuck there for an hour. This was going to cause us to miss the boat. They graciously held off leaving, allowing us to arrive and then board and enjoy the trip. Our wait staff was very good and attentive. The food was very good. It was much better than I had anticipated. Thank you Calypso Queen and crew.

This was my 50th bday celebration. Day of, I was notified the AC was out and optioned a hot boat ride, cancellation or another location. I had out of town guests. So another location it was. Tje cruise was all inclusice...food and alcoholic beverages. We literally had the 2nd floor to ourselves, 40 people. The buffet and drinks were on point. We were able to bring bday cakes. The DJ had us nervous but once we chatted and learned he can play our requests, the party was ON! The views were beautiful. Dolphins swam up to party, too...LOLThe service was awesome, also! The drinks kept coming...Rum Punch was knocking everyone out, wine was tasty and beers were cold! All my guests and myself had an awesome time! My hubby & I will definitely be cruising again with Starlite!

This particular cruise sailed from South Pasadena, FL to Clearwater via The Intracoastal Waterway.We had tasty dinners, great service, games run by staff fun-filled Nancy, prizes, dancing, sing-alongs, sites to see and pictures to capture the memories.Captain Mickey was accommodating, pleasant and informative.

I never give this bad of a review! The customer service representative I got on the phone was not helpful at all. I had a gift certificate that I got last year as a gift from my kids. I know they spent a lot of money for it and were excited for us to go. We lost it and by the time I found it it had expired by a few days. The representative said its expired and there is nothing they can do. Whoa! Where is the customer service or ability to work something out for us?? We were small business owners and you normally try to come up with some type of solution to make your customers happy. Not them or at least this unfriendly woman!!

Every time I come here I wonder why I dont do it more often. We had so much fun this time. The only thing I caution is that you avoid the pork osso bucco which is quite salty. Friendly staff, wonderful experience as always

Was planning on having my wedding on board with 70 so I came all the way from Ohio to check it out. Our server had no personality and hardly checked on us. Waited 20 minutes for a refill. Food was cold. Never even asked if we wanted another drink from the bar .Other then that music and boat ride was great.

My husband and I booked the dinner cruise for a 2nd time. The first experience was great but that was 3 years and it was very nice so we tried it again last night. We were hoping for a quite romantic dinner. We were unpleasantly surprised to find it was far from quite or romantic. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the food and service were very good. The music was loud and annoying. When the evening started the music was low soft backgrounds music that could be interpreted as romantic. Once the boat left port the music was jacked up and the DJ played contemporary music. It was so loud we had to yell at each other across the dinner table. To get away from it we went upstairs to get fresh air and the view of the Gulf, the shore line and sunset. The problem there was to get away from the cigarette smoke. The entire area was for smokers so we had no where to get away from the loud music. By then the 2 large groups that were there to party were on the dance floor and the DJ was playing Contemporary music as well as Middle Eastern music with some sort of Rap sound along with line dancing. This was not the romantic evening we had planned. We both left the boat with splitting headaches. We will never do this again instead we will have our romantic dinner at a restaurant that caters to Romance.

The way the person talk to me I had the job after not hearing from them for over a week I called them back to see where I was and the application cycle. The girl who answered told me her manager was not there she take a message for her and that she would be sure to be back to me within the next day. I never heard back from them this is very unprofessional

Lunch cruise on the Intercoastal in Pinellas County. The food selection was varied, and our group was pleasantly surprised at the quality of our meals. Our first course was fruit, cheese, and crackers. followed with a mixed greens salad, & Italian bread with oil & vinegar. The entrees we had were all served with rice & asparagus spears. The salmon, Beef Burgundy, & Chicken Cordon bleu all got thumbs up from the table. Dessert was a small slice of cheesecake. Non-alcoholic drinks were included, but beer, wine, and cocktails were available. I would recommend this laid-back afternoon outing. As a bonus, we saw dolphins near Clearwater.

Didnt like food and waitress got my bill mixed up with another customer. Not impressed at all!!!!!

Had a blast! Good food, good drinks, good service, good music, good times all around!

It was a cold night, but very pretty. The food was pretty good and we enjoyed dancing after eating. I enjoyed a decent bottle of malbec and they were able to make a vegan entree.

Wonderful cruise and hard working staff made this worth 5 stars, best food and drinks Ive had while in clearwater. The company somehow noticed we had a large group even though we did not notify them and our table for 24 was ready and waiting when we got there. Staff was pleasant and patient and views were beautiful. I wish they had left sooner so we were further out for sunset but otherwise an awesome evening!

We took an evening buffet cruise on the Calypso Queen. It was nice. An easy gping ride with good music and good food.

Calypose queen Boat in Clearwater was outdated and food variety no taste wasnt great. I was still hungry when i left. Best part was the drinks were free. Got all dress up for no reason, definitely could have worn jeans and sneakers. Lesson learned. I prefer Staelite Tampa

Food was amazing for my wifes birthday

My husband and I went on this cruise while on vacation and we were disappointed. We werent ordering dinner but they take you to a table anyway. We went upstairs at that point and waited for the boat to go out. We were expecting that a server would eventually come up and take drink orders but they did not. There was a server Christs that came upstairs and did take a drink order for us but explained that we were supposed to go to our table if we wanted drinks. We went on this cruise for the scenic part so why would I want to be downstairs where we cant see anything? There should be 1-2 dedicated servers waiting on the people that just want to be out on the water for the views. Also, you cant hear the live music upstairs either.
