It’s says on its name Clear water and a white fine sand. Been here twice and so far this is my favorite beach since I live in Maryland we don’t really get to see this kind of clear water beach.

One of the most beautiful beaches Ive ever seen. The soft sand doesnt get hot which is amazing. The pier is quite fun to walk. Very crowded, even in July, but a little more space on the north end of the beach. Plan on parking being anywhere from $15 to $30 for the day.

How can you not love this place?? Other than the occasional rain showers because mother nature is moody, the weather is amazing. Tons of things to do. Tons of places to shop. Tons of places to eat. Tons of people to meet. Beautiful sand. Beautiful water. Beautiful views. If you have the opportunity to travel here, do it.

Love Clearwater. Pier 60, all the boat rides, the seafood, the beach! My kids love the park at Pier 60 attend I like the nightly shops set up. Close to hotels and tourist attractions. Many great restaurants around. Many great shopping stops.

I just love this Clearwater beach area because the sand is so white and fine that its not dirty at all like some beaches we been too and also the water is warm. Its not overly crowded and its just great place to relax and enjoy the sun! Hands down this beach is our favorite place so far!

Great beach for families and couples. There is always plenty going on in this area for all ages. There are many great food options along the beach as well as playgrounds and attractions for the kids!

Beautiful beach with slow, calm waves. Very crowded and LOTS of red seaweed. Like truck loads to be removed daily while we were there. For how crowded it was, folks were nice and patient with one another.

Beautiful beach in a very touristic area, in front of some hotels, next to the Pier 60 Park, which has a parking, restrooms, showers and playground for kids. There are lifeguards on duty, and from 2 hours before until 2 hours after sunset there is DJ music, street performers and crafts. At just few steps away you can find many options to eat and also activities. We had a wonderful day there, I highly recommend going this place.

The beach is quite nice. It was clean and beautiful. If anyone have children bring the beach toy before hand its very expensive there but there is alot of activities to do near and on the beach. A nice scenic place for summer vacation and picture.

Best beach in the USA. Warm water, soft sand, and great beach town. Plan to stay here at least 3 days to truly absorb the atmosphere. Get there early for better parking rates and locations to be on the beach. DRAWBACK: the beach tents are 40 to rent before 3. After that they are 20, but the rentals are removed after 5. Bring your own if you can and plan to be there more than 1 day.

This beach has super soft white sand is breathtaking. The ocean was warm, and the waves were perfect. There are So many places to eat and drink and get souvenirs from. The Sugar San Festival was a fun event and we had an absolute blast. I was sad to leave. We will be returning very soon. I definitely see why this beach is rated #1.

At the Marriott they had a small company with jet skis so we rode around for about an hour on a jet ski. It was great. Took my granddaughter for a ride of her life. She had a blast. After the jet skis we want to sand key and spent the rest of the afternoon soaking up the sun and the ocean.

Best beach for tourism. It is so beautiful specially in Sunset. A lot of amenities.

Had the best time here. Done parasailing and it was fantastic. Best memories. Smaller than Daytona and Sarasota beaches but still better than them if u wanna do different fun activities. Parking is always an issue here.

We had a great time at Clearwater Beach. I was told to water would be calm but it wasnt we really had waves. The water was 87 so the water felt great. The only thing I would tell you bring water shoes because there are rocks in the water.

Excellent day at the beach with there clean water, rent a cabana with chairs and enjoy the beautiful day with your family. I had an excellent vacation and cant be gone home without visiting Clearwater beach, bunch of game for the family and attractions definitely coming back next year.

Clearwater beach water is not that clear so to speak but bright sunny weather, soothing breeze, lots of green....shall always keep you refreshed, re-energized. Parking across the clear water beach area is a bit challenging and rough driving from some overconfident drivers often disturbs the mood lifting. We booked a nearby motel as beach front hotels were fully booked, however, pictures from internet and the actual ambience of the motel was quite different. Therefore, please research more before you book any motel in Clearwater.

Nice clean beach. Great place to wade in and bob around. We took some tubes with us and drifted around. Loved it. Hung around the boardwalk until well after dark. Felt very safe and secure.

Visited the beach on the day there was Sun and Sand festival and the pier was full of fun activities to keep you engaged. Jugglers, puppets , artists is and eyesight to witness as they had some real talent honed over years of practice and hard work !!!But overall the beach is beautiful in its versatility and water is clear as the name says. Lot of birds and fishes to attract your attention.

The springs dont run into the harbor anymore. It was nothing like it was when I was kidding. Kinda of depressing to say the least but we made the best of it with the kids

We visited Clearwater in 2017 in addition to this year(2019). Be prepared for the crowds and the traffic. We really like Clearwater. This year seemed a bit more crowded and the water was a lot dirtier. We were able to walk up the beach a ways and find a better spot. Overall it was a good experience.

This beach is so wonderful! The sandy is soft and so, so white! The surf is gentle, the beach is sandy and has some shell-y spots. Grab your beach chair, towel and an umbrella - this is the perfect beach vacation destination in Florida!

Beautiful white sand beach. Can get very crowded. Parking is an issue when there is a lot a people coming in. But the beach itself is clean and pretty.

Great place to visit, hard place to find parking and when you do it will be with sadness to see your money disappearing. Many places to eat o will recommend you to not look for the most fancy since of you just happened to enjoy seafood all is the same and you will find out that you could save some money. The beach is great once you park your car to many people for my liking. Plenty of places to take pictures and to enjoy the waters as well as the scenery.

Beautiful beach and water. Crowded but worth visiting!!! Tons of restaurant choices. Public parking is available. Bring a cooler, toys and plan to stay for the day.

Great beach with white sand. Not a lot of shells. It had benches and these cute blue tents so you can lay on the beach and enjoy the sun. Slightly crowded but you still have room to enjoy.

Its easy to tell why this is one of the nations top rated beaches. The White sands and beautiful coast line. I decided to make my visit early - around 7 at sunrise. The sunrise was beautiful, and it was nice that the beach wasnt too crowded.There are plenty of things to do at the beach, whether it be yoga, walking, fishing, or tanning. There are a handful of local eats nearby as well.

Voted number one beach every year! Very crowded and known as a famous tourist destination. Their beach is beautiful, white powdery sand and the warm Gulf of Mexico water. There is a pier that has vendors at night, they are local vendors and they sell unique craft items. You can pay a few dollars and go to the end of Pier 60 to view an amazing sunset. There are lots of restaurants, shops and ice cream parlors to get your cravings fix!

Amazing, looked crowded but not bad at all. Shops right by beach have decent prices. Bathrooms clean! Water is clear. You can see fish (not colorful ones but lots of plainer fish).

Let me start off with lower the expectations. Beach looks dirty and full off seaweed. Parking is overpriced at average 20 per day. The shore is full of cracked shells that after a while start feeling like youre walking on razors. Also no lifeguards on duty.

Warm water, no big waves, great sand, yes a problem with public parking but if early you get a spot great views

Great beach. Bring lots of cash or credit. Lots of activities. Parasailing, jet skis, stand up paddle board, kayaking, fishing off the pier, or just people watch. Also cabanas to rent. Nothing is cheap tho.

If your doubting where to go because there’s to many beaches to choose like I was, let me cut it short for you .., don’t waste your time thinking further this beach is a must !! I love the location the area is very nice, several places to eat and stay. The water is clear and calm if you have kids this is the beach you must visit. The sand is soft and the sun is amazing feels beautiful.., the pictures don’t do any justice you must go!! wear sun block because I didn’t wear any since it felt nice the sun came in and out I got a nice tan you won’t feel it til is done lol but it’s all worth it..

Wanted to visit clear water beach for the sheer meaning of the name and for its beautiful sunsets. But the beach was dirty this time due to some imbalance, all the algae and seaweed were dumped on the coast and couldnt get our feet wet. But the sunset was amazing . No words to describe, it was so closer to what we witnessed when we were on a cruise.

What a beautiful place to holiday in. Everyone is very friendly, there is no trouble at all. Weekends are very busy with a nice party atmosphere.Would definitely come here again.

Gorgeous Beach soft white sand! Wyndham Hotel was fantastic.

One of the best beaches in Florida. There is so much to do there from dolphin adventures to dining and everything in between. It is a great beach for families with nice sugar white sand. You can rent tents and chairs for your day at the beach as well as scooters, bikes and golf carts for a good price. There is also Peir 60 where you can buy bait and poles for fishing.

Fun beach town. There are plenty of options for restaurants and activities. Rental beach chairs, umbrellas, and portable cabanas.
