Amazing place! Visiting from CO and easily one of the best mini golf courses Ive ever played. Holes are fun and unique and it feels like youre on a safari as you trek along the course next to amazing waterfalls, through cool caves, and along fun rope bridges. So amazing! Also I paid to hold a gator which was so awesome! Only $11!

We had an awesome day of adventure and fun! I cant even begin to tell you how awesome this staff was how friendly the young men were how informative and helpful! They did a wonderful job navigating my inexperience and being gentle with my autistic son.. From the awesome put put course, the gem mining, feeding the baby alligators to holding the alligators, we spent all day here and less than $90! Its a great place for the whole family, very clean and friendly too! My favorite put put place by far, ill be sure to come again next year

The mini golf course is nicely landscaped with lots of shady areas to keep cool. The mini golf course itself has some challenging but fun holes including several holes that have a spinning challenge wheel. Fun for the entire family, or couples. Would recommend. Would love to go again.

Great birthday party experience and would highly recommend! We had our sons 6th birthday party here with 9 kids and everyone had a great time. We played putt putt, played in the arcade room - the hurricane simulator was the best!, fed the alligators, and did the gem mining. Our party was from 3pm until 6pm which was a long time but we were so busy with the activities that it went by fast. We opted out of holding the live alligator because I wasnt sure if the kids (age 3 to 6) would enjoy it. The tables are outside and the weather was perfect, the humidity was lower and there was a breeze, perfect November weather. Had it been summer, we definitely would have been sweating. The party coordinator was Brian and he was great, he wouldnt even accept my tip! He helped get our table clothes on (my biggest struggle!), hammered down a loose nail we found, fixed a broken swifter, and checked on us many times. I would host another part here for sure!!

Lots of fun. Only reason for a 4 star. We had a group of seven we were told only 6 to a hole.

Went here with my son and enjoyed the whole experience. We paid for the extra to hold the alligator and more. Everyone was very nice and enjoyed the course.

Fabulous golf course!!! I love that at most of the courses theres a wheel you can spin to spice up the gameplay with your peers. Im definitely coming back. Interesting theres an option to hold mini gators, but this time I declined so they can sleep peacefully.

Absolutely loved this place! Had children and adults in our group and we all had a BLAST! The customer service was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Very good prices and worth way more than what they charge.

Great time.how ever way to many people especially now with covid. We felt pushed to finish each hole. Couldnt really enjoy our time like we wanted. 40.00 for 10 mins or so worth of play .

Very nice place to have a family experience. Clean, well kept and easy to navigate. Even though it was sunny and 90 degrees, we were able to find plenty of shade and benches for rest stops. Prices were reasonable for Clearwater, Florida. Highly recommend.

This was my second time mini golfing at Congo River and it is one of the best courses I have ever played. There are a lot of water features, caves, boats, other creative holes as well as a full course scavenger hunt! The location offers alligator feeding and some other fun activities in addition to the golf. I recommend going at night to see the course lit up. The staff was very friendly as well. If you are looking for some family fun mini golfing in Clearwater Florida I would highly recommend coming here!

Awesome course to spend an hour to hour and a half on...The scavenger hunt along the way adds a nice touch, and the hole configurations are very creative! Definitely would not be boring to return and do again, and they have gators to see/hold!

Congo River Golf in Clearwater is one of the best put put golf courses I have been to. The course is well themed and well maintained. Besides 18 holes of golf, they have baby Alligators at the entrance that you can purchase food for, gym mining, and a small arcade. They sell drinks and ice cream but no regular food so be sure to eat before or after. While it is always fun, if you are not used to the Florida heat I recommend you plan your visit in the morning or evening if you go in the summer.

We had a great time... The place was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. They have little gators you can check out and hold on the way in. The little arcade thats on site is a cool addition for when you finish golfing.

This place was very neat! My kids (3 & 5) have never done this before and they LOVED it! The staff are very friendly. The course is clean and fun! The set up and theme make this a great way to spend a couple hours!! They have things we did not do, but that are offered:)

It is $30 for two adults to play. The 18 hole course is either 2 or 3 par holes and the course was definitely more creative than most. The layout was good, definitely not handicap friendly. Over all good, but expensive.

This is one of the best-kept mini golf courses Ive ever visited. All 18 holes were clean and very well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive. My only minor complaint is the lack of airflow on the course. A few strategically-placed fans would make a huge difference. That aside, this place is great.

We had a blast while we were there last night! Very friendly staff (James, I believe was his name, helped us) and very clean place! We had fun feeding the alligators also! My nephew is from Mn. and was so excited to see and feed the gators......did I mention hes in his 30s. LoL. They dont see gators in Mn. We will be coming there again soon.Thank you!

Great place for putt putt. They have one 18 hole course. Makes you feel like your in the jungle, especially the obstacles on the course. You can also feed gators & hold a gator. We did the golfing & held a gator. They do offer you drinks before going golfing & there is a vending machine but its $3. Bring a water bottle with you from home before going, its hot, you will get thirsty.

Its been a really long time since Ive been here and it still doesnt disappoint. Always a great time and great to bring kids of all ages. The scavenger hunt is cool too.

What a fun putt putt place!! The spin the wheel for an extra challenge made it so fun for us and the scavenger hunt on top of that was even more fun and hard to do!!! We were the ones here since it was 110 that day but the workers were so friendly and personable it made it a great time. Such a fun layout and of course the gators were cool the see as well with options to feed or hold them!

Good prices. Fun course. You can hold the gators for a picture and NO MASKS required on the course so it feels like life.

First time here, had a good time. Played some putt putt, fed some gators. Definitely a good time kill and fun family event to do. A little pricey but we got the safari package, which also gave us the mining to do. Was fun for my boy who likes to treasure hunt and metal detect!

Definitely a great fun place to visit! The putt putt course at Congo River Golf was challenging and it was in fairly good shape. Its right of U.S. 19 and you cant miss it if youre in the area.

First time here since moving to Florida July 2019. Because of Covid I wanted to try something that we could do but not be around people. I was a little unsure before arriving. But when we got there I immediately noticed every employee had on a mask. They have rules that they make sure you read about social distancing. They clean the balls and clubs before and after every use.The course is well maintained and very fun. We had a terrific time! We will for sure be back! And have already told some friends and family to go!!!

Good experience over all. Cashier forgot our water, though he didnt have much to remember in his job role at that moment... Lenient and understanding because of quarantine, weve all gotten a bit rusty.

Great place to spend a few hours with friends, family, children or partner playing fun and challenging mini golf. You are also tasked with finding hidden things while putting. The courses are good for all ages, with real water falls, intertwined streams, hills, bridges and more all well maintained. Each player has a different ball color and many club sizes to choose from and a score card to keep track of your points. You can see and hold gators or just golf. Ill definitely be going back again.

So this place was ok. I would give it a higher rating, but the staff did not take the social distancing seriously. They had no signage to let guests no where to stop before moving on to the next hole. We were very crowded by people during the pandemic. Had we not already paid, I would have asked for my money back and/or come back after the pandemic.

Had a great time with friends! Fun Congo jungle theme, and the holes are designed nicely with a sense of adventure. Slopes, bridges, river crossings...the layout keeps you entertained.

Good golf course for fun. 18 putting holes course created with river theme with excellent views. Each hole is different and provide different experience. Going as a group will provide more fun. Also soon wheels at each hole adding extra fun

Great theme, super fun, and a good value too! Lots to do besides the mini golf. Bathrooms were clean and the arcade was air conditioned. Ice cream and soda vending machines available to beat the heat.

Been coming here for 20 years best mini golf in the country. I love the water hazards and hitting the ball in the water to drop out on the course. They have a scavenger hunt too.

My husband and I had a lot of fun here and it was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back

Nice but expensive miniature golf. The location is easy to see on 19 but a little tricky to reach on the one way service drive. No complaints about the golf, its a really interesting layout, with lots of props. Holes are in good condition and easy for younger children to navigate. They have some small alligators but want $10 extra to let you hold or take a picture with one.

If you have ANY physical limitations, stay away. Once you start 18 holes, you cant get out until end. You have to climb up & down MANY stairs with no railings or anything to hold on to. They saw us enter with a walker. Some paths so narrow too. We were done by hole 9 & couldnt get out. It was horrifying!

One of the better mini golf places in the area. On an extremely busy day, there will be limited parking. Other than that, its definitely a lot of fun for the family.

Went here today (12/9/2019) and I have to say after visiting a few different spots back home (Orlando) we (my wife and I) were very surprised to find this place very well maintained.It was such a great experience that not only we played twice but I took the time to leave a great review.Staff is super friendly and this place is spotless. Spent a morning here with my 4 year old son and husband. Super mini golf course with a small games room and baby alligator enclosure. Staff very helpful & cost reasonable. My son loved the course, lots of fun.

I have a family of 6. 2 adults and 4 children. Went there for my daughters 11th birthday and was told we were taking to long and to hurry up because they had a line of people waiting. My husband went up to the desk to ask for a pencil to keep score and the person behind the counter told my husband he was calling the cops because we were taking to long. Needless to say the cops showed up to escort my family off the premises because this kid was on a power trip and ruined my daughters birthday. Calling out the owners. I want a full refund of the $100 I spent for my family to have fun on my kids birthday and a worker wanted to be a punk!

This is both the most expensive and nicest putt putt Ive ever played. The course was very well maintained, and even had a little scavenger hunt as you played. The staff was very polite. The wife really enjoyed the gator fishing/feeding.

5 out of 5 Stars. Family friend friendly, great for couples, and great for kids. This place is so much fun you wont regret going even if its on a cloudy day. Tons of fun and I highly recommend holding the alligator! The alligator once you actually held it was surreal very fun. Staff was very kind and laid-back the whole experience felt enjoyable.

This place is pretty freaking amazing!My friend and I came here to enjoy a round of mini-golf and I must say the course is done up very well. They have live alligators and turtles. The place is themed as if youre in the Congo River as the name of the place suggest. The worker we came in contact with was even dressed like a safari guide. Cool! The staff is also very friendly. In addition to playing golf, they have a little mini game you can play too. There is a scavenger hunt where you look for certain items on the course and write down the location that you found them in. At the end of your mini golf round you can turn in your scavenger hunt and get a free prize...well its actually a coupon...but free, or paying less money is always good. Im sure kids would love it here!

Best putt putt I have been to. The scavenger hunt was an extra bonus. There is also an option to spun a wheel at multiple holes that adds an extra twist to the game such as putting backwards. SUPER FUN!!!!!!!

Wanted to play some miniature golf and found this place. Its a nice course and had fun here. Upon paying I was asked if I was a Veteran and received a discount which is always a nice surprise. They have a scavenger hunt as you play as well as a small arcade room. Both a nice touch to an already fun time. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Alligator feeding and cool souvenirs to top it all off. If you are in the area you should check it out.

Nice course, very clean and well maintained. They take sanitizing seriously, cleaning any clubs or balls that a customer touches.

I took my kids here with my visiting father in law. This is a great mini golf course and very clean. The holes are varied and fun and we had a great time. Perfect for families of children all ages. We saw many small children on the course having fun, but it wasnt crowded and we politely played through.
