Best dog park weve found. 4 separate fenced areas for small, medium, large dogs and one for all dogs. Grass areas and mulch areas, water and benches.

The dog parks used to be so much better without the large amount of unnecessary wood chips. Whomever designed and approved this has never had a dog. It may look nice but is incredibly impractical.Dogs get their toes caught in the metal benches, which are already rusting.The water fountains are far too low, making them dangerous. Ive already seen too many dogs slip, nearly hitting the foot tall post. These are a serious injury hazard for dogs and people alike.Please redesign again! Maybe allow those who regularly visit the dog parks to assist with designing!

This is a very clean and well maintained park. We often schedule poodle play groups here because they have two separate enclosures for large dogs, and one for medium one for small.

This place has amazing trails to ride a bike, walk, or even run. There are so many trees and beautiful scenery around the entire park. There is a large lake, and plenty of play or fly a kite on. There is also a playground, great for kids, to run around and burn some energy on. Next to the playground is a fairly clean restroom. Near the entrance, is a nice, large area to let your dogs run around and have fun as well!

I love crest lake park. I used to go walking around the lake. And now i take my son there in the mornings on the weekend. They have a dog park and fenced in playground. Only bad is there are alot of vagrants at night and early in the morning. I took my son to the playground and someone spit all over the slide. People also walk around with their dogs off leash. And once a guy had his dog in the fenced in playground. So if you have kids stay with them and keep an eye out.

Beautiful lake! Great to take a walk around it while enjoying a great conversation with your loved ones. Peaceful atmosphere.You can feed birds, docks and turtles. No swimming. Warning of possible alligator but Ive never seen one.Nearby, theres a small park for the kids to play and stands for outdoor work out.

Beautiful spot. Dog parks well marked re size. Beautiful old trees, must be 40 to 50 years old.Lots of squirrels to keep the dogs running. Good place to meet seniors and the young dog lovers.Nothing like that in Canada. The lake is so beautiful, a great size to walk around. Whenever I go, so manydog lovers, young children with families enjoying the play ground. My opinion, it is not broken, and doesnot need fixing. If you have lots of money to spend, I am sure it could be spent on the needy.That is my opinion from a Canadian who loves Clearwater. Betty Dean

This review isnt for the overall park, but more specifically the dog park. I think its a beautifully landscaped area with several sections to include all dogs. The view of the pond is so peaceful when enjoying a sunny day with my puppy. My only real cons comes to things such as an abundance of sand in certain regions, or some of the dog owners, which is of course out of the parks hands. Overall, I think if youre looking for some serenity and to make joy-filled memories with your puppy, this is a wonderful place to be. If you want to take advantage of the large fenced in area to yourself, then going between late morning and early noon during the weekdays will give you that opportunity. However, if you want to see some more tails wagging and give your pup the chance to socialize, then I would say between 5:00 - 7:00 would be the prime time for that.

A well shaded park with slides, balance beam, swings and monkey bars. It offers a separate dog park for those with four children. They have 2 play areas, so littles can enjoy a slide to themself. Plenty of benches for parents to relax, while children play. The view of the lake is very peaceful. Plenty of sidewalk for a short nature hike.

Thos is the best park in Clearwater. I walk my dog there every chance I get.

My kids love the park. We exercise and play there. The lake is great at sunset. I would only add a restroom. They have a large play area for the kids but no bathroom makes the visit short sometimes.

Our boxers just love it! They cant get enough and as we drive closer and closer, they just get more excited. As with any dog park, you will have a few bad pet owners that dont clean up or have unruly pets, but it takes a community. The medium dog pen needs to have the drain fixed so my female boxer stops laying in the dirty water (lol). Though they are almost big enough for large and/or all dogs area. Just about everyone we see & talk with have been friendly. The grounds are really nice! I hope the renovation project with the park moves forward. Plenty of dogs of various sizes to play with. There are large, medium, small, and all dog areas that are cordoned off from each other, and depending on when you go, will likely have other dog friends to play with. In the area this is one of the best dog parks to visit!

Currently under construction, but nicely cared for and it is becoming an even better place to spend an outing.

The lake was clean.the amount of birds and wild life was great. The dog park was also clean and well kept. Trees all around the lake was really nice. I would come back

Greatest place to take a short or long walk or run, ( shortest )inside the park and ( longest ) outside the park. Walk your pets or your People. Sit on a bench and read, people watch, etc...etc...The park is always clean and monitored and there is a Playground for children.Love this Park.

Great park for the whole family. Play area for the kids, plenty of shade to relax, and an expansive enclosed dog park(one area for small dogs, one for big dogs).Plus, Crest Lake is a great spot to get some scenic exercise as you circumnavigate the lake.

I was super impressed with the dog park! It has four separate sections, lots of benches, dog drinking stations and tons of room for the pups to run. I was slightly worried over some comments stating there were homeless or otherwise shady people around so I was afraid to go alone. After my first time going, I realized that those comments are not true at all. I go almost daily now with my dogs and have never seen a homeless person, nor anyone that was anything other than friendly. They keep this park clean and well maintained. I would love to see a doggy drinking station along the walking trail but other than that this park is really great.

Beautiful park. Has good parking space and is well kept. Has a artificial lake and lots of shade. Mostly I visit the dog park. There are 4 enclosures for dogs divided by size/weight. Park is easily visible from the Blvd and is surrounded by a residential area.

This park is of a decent size with longer walking trails. It features a war memorial, dog park, playground, exercise equipment, and walking paths around a pretty lake. The one thing the park does not feature is a bathroom, so be sure to use yours before visiting. At times, I have seen quite a few homeless sitting around. I believe this park at one point had a bunch of arrests for people sitting on the benches high on spice or something. So Ive rated it a bit lower.

Crest Lake Park is spacious--a whole city block--and well cared for. It has a veterans memorial area in one corner, a workout area, walking paths all around and small lake. Its well known locally for its dog park. Whether you want to socialize or enjoy your solitude, youll enjoy any time spent at this park!

Always nice people here and enough parks and space that if your pup isnt getting along you can change areas. Has a small, medium, large, and all dog areas. Fenced with double gates so pups cant get out. Water fountains for the pups but I wouldnt recommend it for humans. Benches in all areas with both shade and sunny areas. No hose to wash the pups off. Always lots of donated grocery bags if you forget your own and the city maintains the areas well.

Some ladies here very openly smoking pot while many children played. Not located in the best area. Its a skip.

Really nice park unfortunately its maintained by the city of Clearwater. As a result trees are cut and not replaced grass is awful if you can call it grass. Facilities are nice however when you dont maintain a place to look nice its kind of a waste. However this is very typical of all clear water parks. I think we need to bid the maintenance of these parks to private contractors. As I visit multiple Parks I am totally convinced of this. Its sad the city cant maintain these beautiful areas preserving the trees replacing the trees planting and maintaining decent grass not weeds. But when you have a monopoly on things you dont have to rise to the occasion and do a good job do you?

Close by to get a little PT in. Beautiful lake. I’ve seen bald eagles fish the lake but have not found their roost or nest. One mile sidewalk goes around the property. Lone aggravation is no restroom.

Great area for dogs and kids. Little park area definitely should be a bit bigger and dog park area should definitely have an area for dogs who arent used to other dogs outside their family.

It was under construction so I couldnt see what the park really looked like but it looked like it would be nice once its done.

Only reason why I rated 4, is because I could not find a picnic bench to sit on, granted there are mulitple sitting benches around the park. Theres a dog park, play ground areas, a tiny pier on the lake and plenty of trees. Clean park, clean lake, fresh air. Plenty of areas for exercising, whether its walking or jogging around the lake.

Community....its a great place to connect with people, the earth and the animals and still gives the feeling of being by yourself.

This park offers several fenced sections for different sizes of dogs also different heights of water faucets with Manny kinds matured trees for shades.

I recently visited this park to film for my fishing blog. The park is well maintained and is equipped with family oriented amenities. Play area restrooms. The pond is small and not a lot of fishing activity. Overall this park is a nice quiet place to think.

Another dog did attack my puppy here however dogs will be dogs and it was over a toy. The owner apologized and no one was hurt. There are tons of ducks and other Critters if your dog is sensitive to that. They were even in the fenced in parts. The areas are pretty small but there are multiple fenced in areas. Would be a good place for smaller dogs. Enterprise dog park is still the best.

It is a very nice park. The only concern is that there is a fence gate in the small dog area that is not low enough to keep dogs in.

Other then being swarmed and stung by killer bees it was a good place that reminds me of better days with my only friend Budzey lost forever. Not even the killer bees will destroy.

Decent place to walk but kinda sketchy because of the homeless people that hangs around there. Also this place a good dog park and nice place to hang out.

We went to the dog park for the first time, in order to get our puppy used to other dogs (Ended up going to the all dogs area). The people and dogs there were so friendly, and our puppy really enjoyed playing with everyone. Most people seemed to know each other too, which was cool. Were aiming to become regulars, as our dog needs lots of exercise, and the other dogs were friendly, which will be a good influence on her. :)

Love this park,great lake in the middle you can jog around or use the outdoor gym equipment to stay in shape. Good dog park area with multiple enclosures for different sized dogs, nice area for kids to play, tons of birds in the lake. Ive been coming here for years. Only issue Ive ever had is sometimes people bring aggressive dogs into dog park area, but thats on the dumb people not the park.

One of the most beautifully parks in florida and the best in clearwater stpete area more then a mile in diameter and a mile long it has so much to offer and a great place to bring your children.

Perfect for ALL dogs. Not usually very busy during the day, but havent been in the evening. Theres a sidewalk around the lake thats nice, and 4 fenced in areas.

Huge park with a lovely lake (lots of ducks - very entertaining for little kids), a nice playground for kids, a running track with exercise stations and a great dog park. I used to bring my daughter there when she was a toddler; now we bring our pup. Theres lots of open space, which is so nice to have right in the middle of town.

Some dog owners don’t pick up after their dog poop. I seen poop on the sidewalks and out of designated dog areas. A few owners let their dog walk without a leash all over the park, not even on a heel position. It’s a beautiful park, but I think it will turn back into a shelter for homeless people if no one take responsibility of their dog and pick after them. Thanks god they don’t have restroom otherwise it be another problem and inviting to homeless people.

The dog park has “mini parks,” with some of the parks designated by the size and weight of the dogs. It’s also clean and well maintained.

We enjoyed our romantic 1 mile around walk. Clean, playground for kids and outdoor excercise equipment.

Beautiful lake view. Other then that the whole park is dirty. Ant piles everywhere. Trash inside the playground. Dog park is divided into three depending on the size of your pet which is nice however not the friendliest people that visit.

Great playground. Fenced in and figure 8 concrete path for the kids to ride bikes. Only thing I noticed is that the swings frame has a weld failure. When adults are on the swing and going high, you can see the crack opening and closing. With kids it not a concern. Havent seen anyone to report it to yet. Inspect the area before letting your children run around. Human feces have been found in secluded parts of the playground. A bathroom would be a good idea to have nearby. The occasional crazy with a loud speaking yelling about god can appear.
